Casa Yari is the best for vegan food in Chicago...hands down. The menu is creative, delicious and made with love. Yari is an amazing chef and human all around. Her staff, which includes her daughters, is very knowledgeable about the menu and can guide you on what to get if you're a first timer. Phenomenal food great service.
This little Puerto Rican/Latin mix restaurant surprised me. For some reason I assumed it was just a trendy foodie place but the food was very good. The pastelón and the mofongos were great. I'd go again.
