“Delicious food! Especially nice on a cold day. I appreciated that there was even a vegetarian item on the menu (a huge potato pancake with mushroom gravy), which was delicious. We also shared some sauerkraut & mushroom and potato & cheese pierogies, which were also great. Also great was the mulled wine. They serve a lovely sourdough bread with an interesting spiced spread, but heads up to vegetarians -- the spread is bacon-based. But again, excellent bread. (As you can see, deliciousness was the theme.) The exterior of the restaurant is a little unassuming but the interior is like a cheerful cabin. Would definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: Babcia's pancake, which is a potato pancake with mushroom gravy, served with 3 types of cold salad. There are also meatless pierogies: sauerkraut & mushroom and potato & cheese (ask to be served without bacon garnish). There are also some salads on the menu which are vegetarian. I don't believe any of these dishes are vegan, though at least one of the salads could probably be made vegan if the cheese was left off.“

“The food met or exceeded everyone's expectations. Our server, Brooke, and her assistants were terrific: pleasant, patient, and attentive. The restaurant was full/noisy and the host did his best to accommodate us with a quiet location, a request we made through the app because of the hearing disability of my husband who is a Vietnam Veteran. The volume of the restaurant was still too loud for him: even with hearing aids conversing across a table that could have accommodated eight when we turned out to be only five was challenging, but the window location was the best option and we appreciated that the host did his best. I'm pointing out this situation because it is difficult to find a restaurant that ticks all the boxes: good food, good value, and good conversational ambience. Surely it is a plus that Neat did their best.“

“Fantastic vibes, ciders and food at this place, I couldn’t fault it! The venue is huge, spacious and classy. They are more cider heavy than beer, as a cider person this was heaven to me!! We loved ordering flights or small little glasses, we tried all ciders on the menu. I would totally recommend the van van mojo, blush and the strawberry rhubarb ciders. They also have a cider malort combo which was vile to me but each to their own. Food is also fantastic make sure to order the fried pickles even if you don’t particularly like pickles cuz they were that good. Burgers and the fried chicken sandwich was also great. I think they use house made buns they were perfect. I had my burger on a gluten free bun, it was a little crumbly yet a very good tasting bun. Their thick cut home fries are also phenomenal. I love how they have healthier side options as well! Our servers were quite friendly and helped us allot with our selections. Though it wasn’t that packed when we were there, servers were barely making ends meet. “I go here 2-3 times a week to sing, drink and mingle with every customer. Everyone talks to you and the staff is the greatest line up anywhere. They love their customers and they like to have fun, as I have seen them dance to karaoke or just being silly with each other. The front deck is amazing and I can't wait for the fun meals once the kitchen is finished. I used to make this a once a year place, but now it is a must stop everytime if out for drinks. “We came for Valentines to try the food and beer. The menu is simple and to the point. We both had smash burgers. Let me tell you, the burger was delicious. I went with the double and it was huge. I'll get the single smash burger next time. The cheese curd basket with ranch was really good. The atmosphere is chill, the food is yummy and reasonably priced. “We went for St. Patrick's Day after the kids stuff, around 7:00. Wasn't over crowded, and we got a seat at one of the long tables. Both bands delivered the goods. We were singing, dancing and having a great time until the last band finished up around 11:30. The service is superb. “Found out about this brewery in Westmont and came to try a few beers. It's in a pretty hard to find location in some industrial area, the worst thing about it. Whiskey Hill is a funny name, as this place has beer, not whiskey. Oh well, what they have is still good. There's a pretty good selection including some hoppy and sours. A lot of breweries are in kind of strange areas. It's the case with this one. This is located on Vandustrial in a building it share with some offices and whatever. Lots of trucking companies around here. There's semis parked along the street. Anyway, the beers. It's about $6 a pour. It's not quite a pint but whatever. Even so, a pretty good price for a small brewery. Has many to choose from. Best was the 7 Mile Bridge. It's a Belgian Weisse with key lime, toasted coconut, and vanilla. A lot of lime flavor. This is almost like a sour to be honest. A pretty strong one at 7% ABV. There's not a whole lot on tap, but they manage to have quite a bit for a microbrewery to be honest. Get some beers on tap or take some of the cans to go. It's a small place but when it's warmer they have a patio. There's no food but sometimes there's food trucks.“

The charred cauliflower appetizer was tasty but small portion for over $12. The lasagna Bolognese made with a chicken sausage was equivalent of two large raviolis stacked on top of each other. For $20 I would expect a bigger portion. Overall a higher rating due to the ambience of the restaurant and service was good.“
