“I live not far from this mall, and I love this place. I’ve been there so many times. My aunt introduced to me to this mall, I love it’s a big 2 level mall. So many stores there. I took my partner for his first time. I’ll come there every summer especially when the weather will be nice. I love they a lot of good stores, AMC, food court, and other restaurants. I love vibe and environment of the outdoor mall.“

“Wow! We had the best time yesterday at Crave Cookie Lombard! My two children wanted to try it out so we went in. First impressions, it’s very clean and welcoming! We tried the Dubai strawberry cup, the cookie milk shake and a loaded soda! All were very delicious. It was the best loaded soda I’ve ever had! Our host the owner’s niece took the extra time to talk with us and told us a little bit about the family business. She even gave us free samples of warm chocolate chip cookies! They were so yummy! We have a little boy with Autism and it's not safe for him to sit in front by the busy street because he runs. “What a great bottle shop! I came to this shop specifically for a couple styles that were in stock as well as to pick up some Oktoberfest styles from breweries not available in my area. Really friendly proprietor with a clearly marked bottle selection. Prices were actually impressive! I've been to other bottle shops that were smaller and far more expensive. Enjoyed a tap at the bar as well. It was early on a Tuesday, so pretty quiet. I am sure the weekends get crazy. I even lucked into a parking spot right out front!“

Full disclosure, we have never tasted CC prior, although online it looks like they regularly service most of the top Independent craft brewers for some time throughout suburban Chicagoland. Given their excellent reviews, was excited to taste. Nope. Didn’t realize their posted 5-7 limited quantities meant exactly that. By 6:00 pm on a warm busy spring Friday evening, CC was already sold out of 2/3rds of their (flash heated on a table top griddle) menu of Pork belly tacos and Shrimp po’boys (on a Friday, in lent)? Which only left the many hungry to enjoy their signature chicken sandwich (original, medium spicy and extra spicy) served with chips. While the sourcing of their chicken breasts (decent size/texture meaty and fried well) was good, their temperature plated was lukewarm and underwhelming. Maybe a pop up on the patio isn’t the best way to promote your food, Idk. Not a fan and can’t recommend. Definitely won’t go out of my way to sample again“

“Recently celebrated a 70th birthday with the D'Alexander family. What a great event. The staff could not have been nicer, and attentive. You only thought you might need something at the table and it would appear out of no where. The food was all home made and you could tell made from traditional old recipes and a lot of love thrown in. You feel like you are in a small cafe in Italy. If you want a great Italian dining experience please take the time to enjoy Made In Italy, because my wife and I plan to go back.“

Now, I have had Guinness all over the Chicago area and never has a Chicago pint ever approached the magical, otherworldly flavor of a pint consumed in Ireland. I don't know if it's the water, the proximity to the brewery or just some kind of strange magic that happens to Guinness in Ireland, but I've never had better. That all changed when I drank that first pint at Irish Times. It was easily the best pint of Guinness I've had outside the Emerald Isle. I've since left the area and have had pints all over the United States and Canada. Nothing has approached the quality, freshness and taste of the Guinness at Irish Times in Brookfield. If you are lucky enough to be nearby, don't hesitate to make a detour to the pub. You will not regret it.“
