The big thing, for me is, their dubbel they brew. I drink a ton of Belgian dubbels, triples and quads. Finding an American brewed version that's any good is basically impossible. Victory and allagash do an ok triple I'll buy if they're on tap at a bar or restaurant, but nothing I'm going to buy at a liquor store when other options are available. Whiskey hill's dubbel is fantastic though. I don't know why they don't sell it in cans ready to go.“

“Wow! We had the best time yesterday at Crave Cookie Lombard! My two children wanted to try it out so we went in. First impressions, it’s very clean and welcoming! We tried the Dubai strawberry cup, the cookie milk shake and a loaded soda! All were very delicious. It was the best loaded soda I’ve ever had! Our host the owner’s niece took the extra time to talk with us and told us a little bit about the family business. She even gave us free samples of warm chocolate chip cookies! They were so yummy! We will be supporting this lovely business and will be back!“

“Over all, their bubble tea was super good. But on the other hand, the bubble waffles were just regular waffles that tasted like croissants and had toppings. That is the only thing I didn’t like. I hope they change their croissant waffles get turned into real Gai Daan Zai someday. I am editing this now it looks like someone else posted a picture of real Gai Daan Zai so I guess there must be a shortage of Gai Daan Zai mix? You also should really try the honeydew bubble tea it’s SO good. I think we actually just got a mix-up in the order because I am seeing a picture of the croissant waffle labeled as Bischoff or something so I change my mind this is 5 stars“

“Our family absolutely loves Bb's donuts! We do miss being able to go inside the donut shop. So many wonderful memories taking our little girl there to eat donuts and read a book or two. We have a little boy with Autism and it's not safe for him to sit in front by the busy street because he runs. Wish we could go inside to enjoy donuts & coffee knowing it's something our son would truly enjoy.“

“What a great bottle shop! I came to this shop specifically for a couple styles that were in stock as well as to pick up some Oktoberfest styles from breweries not available in my area. Really friendly proprietor with a clearly marked bottle selection. Prices were actually impressive! I've been to other bottle shops that were smaller and far more expensive. Enjoyed a tap at the bar as well. It was early on a Tuesday, so pretty quiet. I am sure the weekends get crazy. I even lucked into a parking spot right out front!“

“Recently celebrated a 70th birthday with the D'Alexander family. What a great event. The staff could not have been nicer, and attentive. You only thought you might need something at the table and it would appear out of no where. The food was all home made and you could tell made from traditional old recipes and a lot of love thrown in. You feel like you are in a small cafe in Italy. If you want a great Italian dining experience please take the time to enjoy Made In Italy, because my wife and I plan to go back.“

They said whenever they asked Ricardo for something the only thing they heard was: No problem! OR… Whatever you need! And ALL of our guests complimented the food and most took home doggie bags. “Back when I lived in the area, Irish Times had just opened and I stopped in to have a Guinness. Now, I have had Guinness all over the Chicago area and never has a Chicago pint ever approached the magical, otherworldly flavor of a pint consumed in Ireland. I don't know if it's the water, the proximity to the brewery or just some kind of strange magic that happens to Guinness in Ireland, but I've never had better. That all changed when I drank that first pint at Irish Times. It was easily the best pint of Guinness I've had outside the Emerald Isle. I've since left the area and have had pints all over the United States and Canada. Nothing has approached the quality, freshness and taste of the Guinness at Irish Times in Brookfield. If you are lucky enough to be nearby, don't hesitate to make a detour to the pub. You will not regret it.“

“We held a celebration of life for my brother here today. About 50 in attendance in the stylish, comfortable upstairs area. Despite the fact that I planned this from 400 miles away and without having ever seen the venue, it went off without a hitch due to Mr. David Candiotti and his staff. No surprises. Everything was as promised. The venue is extremely stylish and rustic. Food was delicious and plentiful as were the drinks. Service was fast, efficient and friendly thanks to Mona, Alberto and Olena. I highly recommend.“
