“Deserves more than 5 stars! WONDERFUL experience each time I come here. Everything made from scratch. Not just pierogi ---Gelato, soups, empanadas, tamales, pizza pie (takes 50 mins to make from scratch and worth it!!) Premium Belgium chocolates, shakes, Coffee and most recent.....160 (yes one hundred and sixty) different premium teas from around the world!!.....and more to come! They also own the tea room and book store next to the cafe. Owners are THE BEST! Welcoming, personable and humorous. Dinning outside available and pups are welcome! You can tell they have a passion for the business. HIGHLY recommend! ENJOY!“

“Wow! We had the best time yesterday at Crave Cookie Lombard! My two children wanted to try it out so we went in. First impressions, it’s very clean and welcoming! We tried the Dubai strawberry cup, the cookie milk shake and a loaded soda! All were very delicious. It was the best loaded soda I’ve ever had! Our host the owner’s niece took the extra time to talk with us and told us a little bit about the family business. She even gave us free samples of warm chocolate chip cookies! They were so yummy! We will be supporting this lovely business and will be back!“

“Yesterday I took the Sourdough Breadmaking Class with Chef George at The Ancestral Oven and I just pulled an amazing loaf of bread out of my home oven 24 hours later! Chef George provided all the necessary instruction and supplies - including a lively starter - for students to start their own sourdough journey at home. The class included hands-on experience feeding the starter, as well as folding and shaping the dough. I had a great time at the class and can't wait to return to try out the breakfast and lunch menu at The Ancestral Oven Bakery and Cafe.“

“A great new spot for brunch! My husband and I went and it was busy but we were able to sit right away. I'm gluten free and I LOVE that everything is labeled with an easy to read GF symbol so it helps me identify what I can and can't eat. The gluten free buttermilk pancakes were excellent. My husband had the corn beef skillet and he said his bloody mary was great as well! We'll definitely be back! Felisa was super friendly and made sure to answer my questions about gluten precautions.“

“I judge breakfast spots by their staff and their oatmeal. Louie's wait staff are amazing. They're friendly, fast, and have never made a mistake on an order. Louie also has the BEST oatmeal in all of Chicago! I don't know what all the ingredients are, but it makes magic out of oatmeal!“

“I've gone to Vinces for over 20 years, and I can honestly say it never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, you feel like part of the family. You are always greeted with a smiling face and the smells alone will keep you coming back for more. The pizza here is consistently incredible. Perfectly thin crust, just the right amount of sauce, and loaded with toppings that can fit any craving. With the number of years, I have been visiting, I have tried almost everything on the menu from their pizza to their pastas to their appetizers and I keep on going back. I have even hosted parties that have said the same. Not often you find a place that keeps tradition alive with the highest quality, but Vinces makes it happen every day. See everyone soon. “We were able able to make a reservation via Google, and when we arrived they were expecting us. The staff is really nice, took our drink order right away (coffee and waters) and then our food order soon after. I loved my endless cup of coffee and banana crepes. One person ordered chiquillas, which looked great. We added meat sides later, which came right away. The bill was totally reasonable (no separate checks tho, FYI), and everyone left full and happy.“
