What I mean by decent is, it’s not something you’ll go out your way to get but if you want somethin a little sweet, it’ll do. Anyway server and staff were friendly and attentive. “A great new spot for brunch! My husband and I went and it was busy but we were able to sit right away. I'm gluten free and I LOVE that everything is labeled with an easy to read GF symbol so it helps me identify what I can and can't eat. The gluten free buttermilk pancakes were excellent. My husband had the corn beef skillet and he said his bloody mary was great as well! We'll definitely be back! Felisa was super friendly and made sure to answer my questions about gluten precautions.“

“We were able able to make a reservation via Google, and when we arrived they were expecting us. The staff is really nice, took our drink order right away (coffee and waters) and then our food order soon after. I loved my endless cup of coffee and banana crepes. One person ordered chiquillas, which looked great. We added meat sides later, which came right away. The bill was totally reasonable (no separate checks tho, FYI), and everyone left full and happy.“

Premium Belgium chocolates, shakes, Coffee and most recent.....160 (yes one hundred and sixty) different premium teas from around the world!!.....and more to come! “I have nothing but compliments for this wonderful establishment! My fiancé and I went out to dinner last night and had a taste for authentic Italian. I found this place online and read nothing but wonderful reviews about the food, and service. Located in downtown Westmont. Parking was so easy (right across the street), and from the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. The manager Sergio greeted us with a huge smile, sat us, and told us a little about the restaurant. Our server Alysa was nothing short of amazing, knowledgeable, and gave us wonderful recommendations. We felt like family! All of the food is made in house, pastas, sauces, and even the wine and desserts! You can taste the quality of the ingredients, and tell that every single person puts so much care into making sure every customer is happy. The whole experience was wonderful, and it’s so nice to see small (not chain restaurants) are thriving. It’s been a long time since we had an experience like this at a restaurant and we appreciate their hospitality! I think we found our new date night spot! We will be back!! OFTEN! “Yesterday I took the Sourdough Breadmaking Class with Chef George at The Ancestral Oven and I just pulled an amazing loaf of bread out of my home oven 24 hours later! Chef George provided all the necessary instruction and supplies - including a lively starter - for students to start their own sourdough journey at home. The class included hands-on experience feeding the starter, as well as folding and shaping the dough. I had a great time at the class and can't wait to return to try out the breakfast and lunch menu at The Ancestral Oven Bakery and Cafe.“

“I was looking for a quick treat for my daughter and I and happen to come across this place on Google. The location was very easy to find and there was tons of parking.

Once inside, the atmosphere was really cozy and brightly lit. The seating is very limited however, when we arrived it was relatively empty. I believe we arrived before the evening rush.

My daughter ordered the Pina colada smoothie with pineapple popping boba and I ordered the dragon fruit tea with lychee popping boba. We also ordered the Oreo mini pancakes which, to our surprise, came with Nutella. We waited maybe 5 minutes before the entire order was ready so we grabbed our vittles and took a seat. Both beverages were delicious and refreshing and the mini pancakes were amazing! Sweet fluffy crispy and creamy little clouds of heaven! We'll definitely be returning soon. The mini pancakes are calling to us already. Lol“

“I had this cake delivered. It was excellent, on time, box it came in felt so expensive and rich! I couldn’t wait to open the box! Cake was very light, mousse was not overly sweet, just right. The cake was the smallest one they have but it’s reasonable. 4 of us had a slice and there was still a small piece left over. I can’t wait to try more from this place!“
