“This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. So far out of all the ones in Chicago area I have tried- which have been many, this is the best one. I have been to many Indian restaurants across the country and it is hard to find true, authentic flavors and this place hit the spot. The chicken biryani was flavorful, samosa chaat bursting with flavors, mango lassi was refreshing, and the naan was fluffy and fresh. Will definitely be returning.”

“I love The Uptown. Live music every weekend is why I come here and all the bands are good and rock out. Cheap drinks are always a plus and the tasty frozen pizzas can keep you going throughout the night in case you get hungry. All the bartenders are great and friendly with everyone. There is a big parking lot behind the place just in case you can't find a spot in front. Great vibes overall so come on down and grab a drink 🍻”

“Solid bar good, consistently good.

The big thing, for me is, their dubbel they brew. I drink a ton of Belgian dubbels, triples and quads. Finding an American brewed version that's any good is basically impossible. Victory and allagash do an ok triple I'll buy if they're on tap at a bar or restaurant, but nothing I'm going to buy at a liquor store when other options are available. Whiskey hill's dubbel is fantastic though. I don't know why they don't sell it in cans ready to go.”

“I love Standard Market's Seeded Rye Bread! It is one of the best rye breads to be found anywhere in the west suburbs. Unfortunately the last two loaves I bought are so very , very salty? I do bake bread myself (not as good as Standard Market's) I am aware of the role of salt, sugar etc. and their proportions, so why this extremely salty version ?”

“This Thai food was really good! The Tom Kha soup was a 10/10 — honestly, one of the best Tom Kha soups I’ve had. 🍲

We also had the Prik King chicken, basil fried rice, which I’d give an 9/10. It was delicious, but they could have added more chicken.and peppers 🌶

For an appetizer, we tried the combo. The shrimp in a blanket was really delicious! The others in the combo weren’t really my favorite, though.

“One of the best tasting hot dogs I’ve had. Consistently excellent. Old school fries with just the right amount of salt. Very friendly too. You won’t leave disappointed. Time cute establishment that’s drive thru only but plenty of parking to eat in your car if you choose to do so or eat on one of the 2 picnic benches available on the grass.”

“Came here for the 1st time tonight after driving past it a hundred times. Loved it! It is so close by. They have a new lineup of fruit milk teas so I tried the mango. It was delicious! It tastes like real mango and real tea with the milk and yummy tapioca....it wasn't a flavor syrup which is what I was expecting. The flavors all came together wonderfully. This place has a fun vibe....even has games you can play while sipping your reasonably priced tea. I'll be back ....sounds like there is always something new here on the drink lineup. Next time I will order a large instead of a medium...this tea is so good....I regret ordering my conservative medium cup.”

“Great job tonight! Everything we had was delicious and the bartender was speedy and attentive. Half sausage onion, half cheese pizza well done was made perfectly. Crisp dough tangy and delicious sauce. Person saying not child friendly, it’s centered around a bar like an actualy Chicago spot, I know it’s hard for you rich folk to comprehend but life can’t be fully controlled, quit sheltering children. “New Ownership. Everything you read was the old restaurant. New owners are very engaged and don't have the Soviet mentality and customer service issues. Very nice cosy European restaurant. You literally wouldn't know you were in the USA and not Vilnius. The borscht is better then what I had in Ukraine. It's fantastic! Delicious kielbasa. Not oily, not dry, just right! Everything was top notch. They remodeled the interior and it's very clean and inviting. It's almost posh. Just like what you find in Europe. Customers are European. They won't come here unless it's very good. And it really is.”

The barista’s are exceptionally, friendly, social, and even care enough to remember remember the names of returning customers. They are the reason why we continue to return to this Starbucks location over and over and over again.”

“I reached the Subway just a few minutes before closing time, and honestly, I wasn’t sure if they’d even take my order. But the guy working there was really nice, he took my order without any attitude, and prepared everything fresh just like it was the middle of the day. I really appreciate his positive attitude and great service, even at the end of a long shift. It’s small gestures like this that make a big difference.”

“this Dunkin has such poor customer service. I watch the manager tell this kid that they couldn't make him something because the ovens were down for cleaning. As I sat there for at least 30 min, not one person went to the ovens to start cleaning them. this is not the only time I noticed stuff like this.”
