The fact that they held a prayer vigil for 9/11 the 3 students, and Charles Kirk was so thoughtful and beautiful. They were donating some of the proceeds to TPUSA. “My friend and I stopped in at Firewater BBQ in Elmhurst on Thursday Dec. 1st for the "Granny's Lunch Box Special" which is available daily from 11AM-2PM. This was my second visit and my friend's first at Firewater. We both ordered the Angus beef brisket sandwich with a side of 3 cheese Mac & Cheese and a soda. The brisket (smoked for 22 hrs) is amazingly tender and flavorful. It was piled high on a toasted brioche bun and is served with your choice of sweet or spicy BBQ sauce or both if you like. The Mac & Cheese is sooo silky-smooth and creamy and compliments the brisket quite well. There are complimentary pickled jalapeños and sweet & spicy pickles available as well. My friend was so impressed by this amazing brisket that he placed another exact order to go to bring home. The cashier who also took our order was very friendly and polite. We told one of the chefs, Shawn, (pictured) that we really enjoyed the brisket and complimented his skills. My friend and I will both be returning to Firewater BBQ and we'll definitely be letting our family and friends know about this wonderful BBQ spot.“

“We have catered holiday meals from various different restaurants and they all have been good- but yesterday’s Thanksgiving turkey was the best we have ever had. Everyone agreed - everything was great, but typically a few of us don’t care much for actual turkey but yesterday was an exception. Thank you!“

“What an excellent eating experience!! The waiter was friendly and seemed to anticipate our requests. It was my first time in a Korean restaurant and I was glad that my son accompanied me and explained the various foods and choices. It was SO comfortable and enjoyable! The food was AMAZING! I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional eating experience!!“
“I gave five stars because I absolutely love they turkey tips I stumbled upon this location last month and I have been recommending my customers to go there but today was a very bad experience for me and I probably won’t be returning because the lady at the counter today was very very very rude to me and I truly don’t appreciate that. This is my first time seeing her there it’s usually a nice gentleman man that works there I asked her may I have a bag please for my food she turned around and looked at me with disgust and said “I’m going to put it in a bag “then took the bag and threw it on the counter at me I’m so glad that I’m more in to my church now because she almost took me there but the devil is a lie. So sad because I actually love their turkey tips. I don’t understand why people work at an establishment that they don’t like or don’t like being there because to me customer service is everything especially when I spending my hard earned money.“

“Stopped by the restaurant after work and what a great decision! Got the rib tips and fries but can't wait to try more! I've met John Jr. in the past but had the pleasure of being served by Sr. today. Such an amazing family very warm and inviting would definitely recommend for your next event or just an evening meal for the family. Thanks guys👌🏾❤“
“I’m writing this because it’s honestly ridiculous to see people giving this place 1-star reviews just because they aren't open yet. They are still in the 'Opening Soon' phase!
If you actually check before you drive over, you’ll see they haven’t even posted their hours yet because the doors aren't officially open. Giving a bad rating to a new business for that reason is just dumb and hurts our local halal spots for no reason.
Karahi Boys has an incredible reputation elsewhere, and we should be supporting them, not tanking their rating before they even start. I’m giving them 5 stars to help balance out the noise. I’ll update my review with the details on the food and service once I actually get to try it!“

“We had an event at Nobel House on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was great and the food was out of this world. We had about 40 people and many told me how much they liked the food , atmosphere and service. Thanks to everyone there for making it great.“

“My fiancé and I have been a gyro war. I’m a Skokie Dengeos girl and he’s a diehard Squabs fan. While it’s hard to compete with childhood memories after trying Squabs I totally get it. The gyro was perfectly cooked, the tzatziki was beautiful, the fries were delicious. The absolute standout was the customer service. I was having such a bad day. I confused the gyro plate with the gyro dinner and they took such good care of me. I had cried the whole ride over and left with the biggest smile and a plate of leftovers. 10/10 I will be coming back every chance I get.“

“Bbq + tacos, yes please. BBQ Chicken Taco with pico de gallo, cilantro, Pulled Pork Taco caribbean salsa, pico de gallo & spicy lime aioli and Brisket Burnt Ends Taco with chimichurri, slaw and cilantro. At $3.50 to $4.00 a taco, they were small. But they were tasty. #spicemeister approved.“

“I really enjoyed my first visit to LongHorn Steakhouse. I’ve heard about it for a while but never had the chance to try it until now.
The highlight of the meal was the Outlaw Ribeye, which was easily one of the best steaks I’ve had. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The loaded potato and fries were both solid, but the real surprise was the mac and cheese, it’ll definitely be my go-to side from now on.
As for the service, it was a bit inconsistent. The restaurant wasn’t full, as we were seated right away without a reservation, which made the slower, somewhat disorganized service a bit surprising. One of our sides was served cold, which was disappointing.
That said, I wouldn’t hold it against them since the overall food quality was excellent. I still had a great experience overall and would definitely come back. Hopefully, the service will be smoother on our next visit.“

“I've become a regular at this place. Their steaks are perfectly done and the slow-cooked ribs are irresistible. Their sides are just as good and their rolls are addictive. I have to drive a distance to get here, but it's always worth the effort. Texas Roadhouse, you rock!“
