This place is amazing. The food ,the people the vibe and the service were exceptional. The fact that they held a prayer vigil for 9/11 the 3 students, and Charles Kirk was so thoughtful and beautiful. They were donating some of the proceeds to TPUSA. Love this place and the values/morals they believe in. Family first.

Not only does Matts have quality food, but they regularly have events and live music. With dining options indoor or outdoor there’s always something fun to do as a couple or a family! Hailey recommend to check this place out for lunch or dinner. The food is always fresh bursting with flavor.. great place to have in Lemont!

Based on the reviews, Matt's Barbecue and Bourbon Bar is a small joint with more outside seating than inside. The menu is written on a board, and customers order food and drinks at the inside counter. The place gets really busy and the environment is loud. The food has great smoke and the sauces are amazing, including a hot honey sauce, honey bbq, and a vinegar bbq sauce. The brisket is very thick cuts, smoked just right, tender and juicy. The brisket nachos are very good, and the buffalo wings are good too. The sample platter for $50 has plenty of meat smoked to perfection. The brisket and pulled pork are very good, though not served together. The service is friendly, courteous, and attentive. There is live music on the weekends during the summer. It is worth the drive for BBQ, and a good place for lunch for a company with good bulk prices.
