“Hands-down worst BBQ place in Chicago if not the nation. Don't look, don't ride pass, & pleeeease don't stop in here and WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! The brisket dry, the ribs uncooked, and the fries was hard asf. You'd be better spending your $50-$100 at the grocery store and make your own bbq. I'LL NEVER BE BACK AND WILL MAKE IT MY MISSION TO TURN ANYONE I KNOW AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. To hell!!!“

“Was recommended this restaurant from a friend. The maple tree and did not disappoint. Made a reservation online easy. Their menu is awesome, simple and delicious. Crab cake was perfect! Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!“

Well worth the drive. The food was fantastic. The server Anna was great. The manager Ken came by the table often to make sure everything was to our liking. “This is my favorite place to eat , great prices , they have items on the menu that u can’t get anywhere else like the pork tenderloin dinner , it’s huge, double pork chop dinner around 20 bucks take you all day to eat it . “we had the best lunch at the Patio, a great burger and my companion tried the italian beef. the best part was the great service, after ordering at the counter, they bring everything to your table. The tables are so clean, and we met Teo who was clearing tables. He does a great job, the atmosphere was comfortable and immaculate. we will return soon!“

“Forget the girl at Burger King...Noriah ( I hope I am saying her name correctly) at Lawrence's in CC Hills, Illinois should get the soul food employee of the year! She handled about 8-10 customers taking orders, cooking food, chopping up rib tips, slicing cake, grilling fish, boxing food...plus more! I was so impressed! She was AMAZING! “My husband had the burger & parmesan fries. He said his meal was really good. I got the filet steak & sweet potato. It was ok. I personally thought it was to pricey 32.00 when all my meal came with was a small steak & small sweet potato, no vegetable or salad. Was not worth the price. I should of got the burger!“

“Definitely a must try ...well a add to rotation of places to frequent. Went on a Friday night and the owner came out to tell us about a few items/ samples. Not only was the turkey tips tender and flavorful, the sides were definitely a costar. Greens and Mac were 10/10. Oh and let's not forget about the cornbread, chef's kiss. Next trip I make that way , the pizza selection will be a next try and I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed.“
