“First time coming out to try this type of experience. Everything was great and our server (Ryan) did a great job explaining things to us. He even gave some great recommendations on what to order. I’m a carnivore by nature so this was my kind of place. I forget what the rice dish with the egg was called but I enjoyed the crispy texture at the edge of the sizzling bowl. I went into a mini-meat trance after all was said and done but it was worth it.“

“Love coming for happy hour! Super fun atmosphere and employees are so so nice! One small thing, every table including my own was bothered by the same homeless man who was saying incredibly inappropriate things to women and about the women there. He hung around the tables for a long time. The staff didn't do anything about it and in fact encouraged behavior by giving him food that people were done eating. I would let this go because we need to help each other but he was being very very inappropriate about women there.“

“Really good BBQ and the food was great, but honestly the woman at the register made the experience even better. She was super nice and took the time to walk us through the menu and explain everything. She mentioned how everything is made from scratch, which I really liked. You can tell they take pride in their food. Definitely a place I’d come back to!“

“I found an excellent Dining spot. We loved the smokedJerk turkey Tip. The flavor is excellent and now I found Jerk turkey and it’s better than the chicken. I love green tomatoes the best I found since my on. The smoked Brisket Burgers you won’t stop eating them. They are in rivers oaks right now but they are moving downtown Chicago. If you love smoked flavor you have definitely got to check out Bell Heir’s Barbecue😍“

“We really enjoyed the bbq ribs and the sampler of chicken wings (small portions or tastes). Sauces were delicious (several to choose from - i likedthe house and spicy the most. Other options included a mustard, a vinegar based and one with horseradish). Ribs were tender and smoky. Yum.

Coleslaw was unimpressive and a bit sour for my taste. Other side we tried were fries - portions were large enough to share. We had basic salt and pepper, but there were choices.

Clean up procedures weren't clear so we left our trays on the table. We had given a tip though food was not served.

Tables were picnic bench style with chairs. Everything seemed sticky although regular cleaning was going on.

Sports bar style with a couple large tvs in place, adding to the noise. There weren't many people there but loud.

Ordering was a bit inefficient but we weren't in a rush. The customer service was really good though. Very patient and helpful.“

“I gave five stars because I absolutely love they turkey tips I stumbled upon this location last month and I have been recommending my customers to go there but today was a very bad experience for me and I probably won’t be returning because the lady at the counter today was very very very rude to me and I truly don’t appreciate that. This is my first time seeing her there it’s usually a nice gentleman man that works there I asked her may I have a bag please for my food she turned around and looked at me with disgust and said “I’m going to put it in a bag “then took the bag and threw it on the counter at me I’m so glad that I’m more in to my church now because she almost took me there but the devil is a lie. So sad because I actually love their turkey tips. I don’t understand why people work at an establishment that they don’t like or don’t like being there because to me customer service is everything especially when I spending my hard earned money.“

“I used to go to Uncle John’s on Cottage Grove to get turkey tips. But the turkey tips there are dry, old most of the time.
The turkey tips here at Wileys never disappoint. My only complaint is the sauce sometimes seems watered down“

Food was excellent, it was honestly a really nice time. Really only affordable place could find for steak as my oldest had never had it out - steak pieces in a $7.99 kids meal. “Service polite and quick. Space clean and well organized. Ordered the Papa Q platter, everything was good, especially the pork belly and sausage. Sides were cornbread, sweeter than traditional, mac q roni- tasty, coleslaw- creamy and traditional, and mashed potatoes with gravy-really good. Hush puppies were yummy too. Three sauces on table are all good individually but I mixed them all together, delish!“
