Phenomenal food, that’s arguably the best in the north shore.
Too expensive and small coke slaw portions
Tried based on good reviews and was disappointed. The brisket did not have a ring and sufficiently smoked flavor. Cornbread muffins were too dense and wet. Gumbo did not taste anything like gumbo but just like rice with chicken.

The service is great, with pleasant gentlemen and kind staff who provide attentive help with dietary restrictions. Everything is ready on time, packaged well, and prepared quickly. The restaurant is clean, and the food is cooked fresh. Though located in a food court, the food is too good for such a setting, with some noting the atmosphere gets four stars for that reason. Guests appreciate the quality and care, and many say they will definitely be back. Amazing soul food. 10/10.
