Robinson's No. 1 Ribs Reviews
**I do NOT recommend**I originally asked for a boneless BBQ sandwich. I always order this when I travel to Chicago because I enjoy it so much. Today when I went to order, I was discouraged from ordering the boneless and was told to get the pulled pork. I probably should’ve walked away because the pulled pork was dry and nasty. Next time a customer asks for something, just give them what they ask for.
This place handles food allergies better than almost any other restaurant I’ve ever been to. I placed an order online and noted my allergies, and they actually called me to make sure what I ordered would be ok for me. They were super nice about it and wanted to be safe. Can’t take that for granted.
The pulled pork was quite good, as were the fries and coleslaw. No complaints, especially for train station food.

I asked for an extra ketchup packet they act like I asked for a kidney.

Robinson's No. 1 Ribs offers good food at a reasonable price in Union Station's concourse food court. Patience and ease of payment are notable aspects of the service. The boneless ribs in sandwich and hamburger are popular choices, while fries could be improved. Wait times for take-out are brief. Despite a busy location, the restaurant serves well and accommodates hunger. Customers appreciate the value, especially the specials, and note that the pulled BBQ chicken sandwich keeps getting better each time. The fries are also highly enjoyed, especially when dipped in sauce. The restaurant prepares smoked food on-site and reheats grilled or fried items, providing a local flavor. It is considered one of the better choices in the food court, though it has limited hours. The atmosphere remains positive and professional, making it a fine lunch spot for travelers and locals alike. The staff and management are appreciated for their service during events, meetings, and seminars, consistently offering ethical and lawful service. Overall, Robinson's No. 1 Ribs continues to serve good food, quick take-out, and friendly service in the busy Union Station area.
