I was in Chicago for a conference and wanted to eat somewhere Black-owned before I left. Yelp had Kathryn's Soul as nearby and rated well so I gave it a try. I ordered a peach cobbler, a cornbread and a shrimp and chicken alfredo. I ordered it through the website for delivery so I'm not sure what delivery service it was but I'm sure it was a third party like Door Dash. I only received the shrimp and chicken alfredo. Literally my favorite place to order from at French Market. There's a wait because dverything is made to order so it's def worth the wait.Google doesn't include this on the recommended, but I def recommended the loaded baked potato with shrimp and their cabbage side as well.

We are from out of town. The Uber dropped us off on the wrong street, but you can find this restaurant in the food court of the train station. Everything was sooooo good, and the owner is so nice! I had the shrimp and grits; the hubby had the meatloaf and garlic potatoes. There was enough for lunch and dinner. I wish that we lived closer; I would definitely return.
