I love Standard Market's Seeded Rye Bread! It is one of the best rye breads to be found anywhere in the west suburbs.
Unfortunately the last two loaves I bought are so very , very salty?
I do bake bread myself (not as good as Standard Market's) I am aware of the role of salt, sugar etc. and their proportions, so why this extremely salty version ?

Have continued to frequent this location and can attest that service and quality have improved. We enjoy it very much and recommend it to friends.

Cooks are hustling and food is good. Sadly, service is way down. We’ve come in weekly for a few years. Margs used to be out before the food. The last 5 or 6 visits I have to ask for my margarita every single time. It always comes when I’m nearly finished with my meal....read full review
Delicious. I take all of my out-of-town family and guests here because of the outstanding food. So glad I found this place.
