Rica Arepa ARMITAGE is a Venezuelan restaurant with a fun, contemporary, happy atmosphere. The heated patio is toasty warm, and the outdoor seating is wonderful. The staff and managers are kind, and the service is super friendly and attentive. The food is amazing and really good, with an excellent food selection. The arepas were delicious, especially the punta trasera & queso de mano, and the arepa parrillera. The sancocho was big enough for 2 people to share, and the caldo was seasoned so well. The cafe con leche had firm, creamy foam, and the flan (quesillo) was firm, creamy, and full of flavor. The green sauce on the table was super tasty. Empanadas and cachapas are also favorites. However, the meal was so expensive; three arepas, tequenos, and two soft drinks cost $80. The arepas do not come with a side. A very pricey meal for two. Despite this, it is a neighborhood gem, and customers will definitely return.
