“Not everything is perfect. There is good service, but the very plastic cachapa dough is nothing like the Venezuelan one, a lot to improve with that. The shredded meat is not the best either. I rescue the roast chicken. Tequenos are not the best either. Maybe I went on a bad day for them, but I am always honest with my reviews. It would be a 7.0 out of 10.“
“Visited Rica for dinner with the family. At first I thought the prices were a little high, until I saw how much they stuffed into the arepa and patacon. The margarita special ($6) was an okay value, although we were convinced that it's just Costco premixed margarita (they are clear that the HH marg is NOT their normal marg).Would definitely go again.“
“Great little cafe ! Typical food from South America ( Venezuela and Colombia ) , they serve great coffee as well. I also had a smoothie called “ cocada” made with coconut and condensed milk and cinnamon in the top that was incredibly delicious! They have a typical sandwich made with “ arepas” that is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this cafe !“
“Accidentally discovered this place in 2017 Best place for empanadas, arepas, drinks and the desserts...yum! Have yet to try their Sunday Brunch. However if it's anything like their regular menu, one can't be disappointed. This is a 12 miles from our home but so worth the trek. Venezuelan food at its best.“
“This place is legit! I’ve been meaning to try this little taco shop since I can walk to it - yesterday I finally did and wow! Surprised me at how great the food was and will definitely be back again. The inside is small but can seat a few folks but it’s the tables outside that make for a great spot to enjoy some tasty food with friends. Make sure to grab a horchata too! So yummy!“
“Had a kids meal, chicken sandwich for my daughter and I got myself a empanada which their huge and delicious, dip come with is very good. First time eating their food and the cashier was helpful with suggestions when I asked. Definitely go back!!Parking: You can find street free parking if not meter parking.“
“Yummy arepas! They serve such a wide spread of delicious arepas! They all have such creative ingredients and flair. I ordered an original that has beef, plantains, beans and cheese. It is so delicious and huge! You will for sure have leftovers. It's one of my favorite spots to go in ravenswood to eat. I do think it's a bit pricey and they should include more with the dishes for the price point. However, it's so delicious and such a treat you forget about this and just indulge. There's a special they run where the arepas are discounted. It's kinda like an arepa happy hour! I would go back during those times for a discounted cost. :0)“
“The food is excellent, only the service should improve because they give more importance to other diners, when the attention should be the same for everyone,The place is nice and clean...They must improve the waiting time because it takes a long time to get the orders to the tables, I say this because at that time there were only two tables, which was mine and another one, it still took a long time to get the order out.“
“THIS PLACE IS EFFING BONKERS GOOD. every meat selection is perfectly cooked and seasoned impeccably. been about six times since discovering it a few weeks ago. i have dietary restrictions and the staff are super kind and accommodating. can’t recommend highly enough.“
