“Great spot for a quick lunch with good quality Middle Eastern food. You can do a pita, bowl or a plate with a steak, chicken shawarma and falafel on top of rice and some assorted veggies. Delicious mix that goes down really nice. Sauces make it even more delicious. This is a better and a healthier alternative to some of the well-known fast food restaurant chains. The interior is pretty simple, not too overwhelming. Plenty of parking space.“

I went in knowing zero about Burmese cuisine, but was walked through a series of dishes that have become instant classics that I crave: tofu gyaw, the tea salad, kyarzan thoke, chicken mango, and the goat curry. Rachel, our server, was phenomenal, I liked her so much I even asked her to help me "customize" my pasta dish, which she happily did (and it turned out great! The lobster diavolo but with vodka sauce...keeping the spice level.) Caesar salad good but not traditional...and missing anchovies (I know, I'm weird. Very fresh ingredients though.) “Hubby and I went to dinner at Seasons 52 on Saturday, which we haven’t been to in a long time. I forgot how much I enjoy this restaurant. We sat in the bar and had a great server named Shawn. Shawn was engaging and provided great service. I’ll definitely request him next time I visit. I wasn’t drinking that night, but hubby solo’d it with a bourbon cocktail called a Paper Plane. He said it was very tasty, especially on the hot day.
We shared the ahi tuna tartare to start. The tartare was a stack of tuna with tropical salsa and avocado. So fresh. It came with a basket of crispy lavish bread, I hope when the restaurant switches their recipe that they will continue making a seedless lavish for those who can’t do nuts or seeds.
Hubby had the wood grilled tenderloin salad for dinner. I had to get a taste of that tenderloin because it was cooked perfectly. It was so tasty and seasoned well. I had the wood grilled Idaho rainbow trout, swapping out the asparagus for carrots. The trout came with a dill mustard sauce which I nixed and just squeezed fresh lemon on the fish. The fish was moist and smoky.
Of course, we had to get the little dessert shooters to end the meal. Hubby had the Belgian chocolate s’mores, which was ridiculously decadent. I had the more conservative raspberry cannoli dessert. These tiny sweet treats are delicious mini indulgences. I love them because you want something a little sweet at the end of a meal but don’t want a huge dessert. I think they’re perfect.
I like Seasons 52 because every item on the menu has the calories listed. Their food is always very good and the service is top-notch. When I ordered the tuna appetizer, a manager came over right away and asked me about a seed allergy because they noticed I said no nuts and seeds on my reservation. They really pay attention to their customers needs. I highly recommend Seasons 52.

This place is great! Definitely a faithful clone of the original location.

The food is great - just like the Chicago location.

Only downside is that during the dinner rush on Saturday - this place is LOUD. The food is terrific. The service very friendly and efficient.

“After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

“Recently celebrated a 70th birthday with the D'Alexander family. What a great event. The staff could not have been nicer, and attentive. You only thought you might need something at the table and it would appear out of no where. The food was all home made and you could tell made from traditional old recipes and a lot of love thrown in. You feel like you are in a small cafe in Italy. There are terminals you can order from, and while I was putting in my order, a staffer suggested their Maxwell Street hot dog (prepped by the amazing Oumar) - their only grilled offering! - and I couldn't resist. She was friendly and I went along with it.

Worth a visit if you're craving a hot dog and have a layover.
