“I ran into the Giordano’s off Lake St and Michigan Ave tonight just to get quarters for parking (unfortunately we had already eaten somewhere else). I gotta say that the staff was SO NICE and so kind about it that next time I’m over that way I will be eating there just because of the interactions I had tonight with a few staff members. As a non-customer tonight they didn’t have to help me out but they did and did it happily and were all super friendly. Even the manager (who was absolutely adorable) helped out by getting out a roll of quarters so that I had enough for the parking machine/box. Thank you all for the help tonight. I really did appreciate it!“

“The deep dish pizza and pasta have been the highlight of previous trips to Chicago. Last week was my first through third time visiting Lou Malnati's Oakbrook Terrace location. The service was friendly and thoughtful, the pizza is worth the wait, and the pasta made a very nice late lunch when we were too hungry to wait for pizza. Also the Chicago style meatballs appetizer was fantastic.“

I went in knowing zero about Burmese cuisine, but was walked through a series of dishes that have become instant classics that I crave: tofu gyaw, the tea salad, kyarzan thoke, chicken mango, and the goat curry. Do not sleep on this place! The food is fresh and meticulously prepared. The flavors are incredible and the portions filling. The staff are warm and engaging. 10/10 across the board.“

He offered 2nd helpings (my only regret is that I did not indulge on that offer). Our meal was plentiful, delicious and presented beautifully! The bartenders cocktails (garnished w/ fresh flowers!) are pure elegance and his customer service skills are excellent! The drag show was a blast! “After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

“Really like the 3 course "Prix fix" even though there are some aditionalcharges for some elections. Valet parking was appreciated, Well decorated, good selection. One weak spot, and is common in many restraints, are the Hostesses. This is your first impression with any restaurant, yet they place little emesis on training the staff on proper customer service. Look at people when talking to them, not your computer. There should be better communication and interaction with the front desk. Otherwise, Service was excellent, Food was well prepared and presented, prices were fair.“

“After passing this building several times, I finally gave Altamura Pizza a chance. What a gem! From the employee who took my order (who was highly informative and friendly) to my pickup, I was very impressed! The owner told me about their charcuterie boards and was very passionate. She went out of her way to get my son, who was anxious to leave, gelato—very thoughtful and tasty too! My salad was delicious, and the pizza was amazing. “Food and service fantastic. They were running behind with reservations but they comped us drinks an an appetizer...which is pretty unheard of these days. Rachel, our server, was phenomenal, I liked her so much I even asked her to help me "customize" my pasta dish, which she happily did (and it turned out great! The lobster diavolo but with vodka sauce...keeping the spice level.) Caesar salad good but not traditional...and missing anchovies (I know, I'm weird. Very fresh ingredients though.) We were a party of 6 and everyone loved their food. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely be back! Only wish it weren't so cramped inside.“

You only thought you might need something at the table and it would appear out of no where. The food was all home made and you could tell made from traditional old recipes and a lot of love thrown in. You feel like you are in a small cafe in Italy. “Unbelievable. My son and I had tried all of their popular items. First, the Beef Noodle Soup, to die for. The flavors and rich and balanced and the best soup ive ever had and I look for the best ramen, pho, noodle soups, and etc... the soup dumplings incredible and the perfect size. The grandma's fried rice is delightful, and worth it. The Cheng Du dumplings were good but I would skip them for the rest of the dishes listed here, and the Dan Dan Noodles unfortunately didnt have any flavor and wouldn't get those again.
