“(2025) Brunch Cafe - Addison, IL I recently had the pleasure of dining at Brunch Cafe in Addison, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! Our waitress, Febe, provided EXCELLENT service—she was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing, coming out hot and fresh, just as we hoped. From the fluffy pancakes to the savory breakfast burrito, every dish was delicious and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. In my opinion, this restaurant should be rated #1 in Addison, IL for breakfast. No other place comes close to the quality and service we experienced here. Highly recommend! (2024) How ever long is your wait is please wait. It’s definitely worth the wait. Their food is absolutely delicious and our waitress was professional + friendly. Carrot cake pancakes are my new favorite.“

“The gyro cheeseburger is #1 in my book. The chicken bacon ranch sandwich and chicken Caesar pita are also a 10/10. I used to only get the pizza which is good too. If you only get the pizza then do yourselves a favor and try some other items on their menu. You will NOT be disappointed!!!!“

I went in knowing zero about Burmese cuisine, but was walked through a series of dishes that have become instant classics that I crave: tofu gyaw, the tea salad, kyarzan thoke, chicken mango, and the goat curry. The baby dragon (half of a rotisserie chicken), dragon's egg (half of a baked potato), dragon's tail ( half an ear of corn) were all delicious and cooked to perfection. He offered 2nd helpings (my only regret is that I did not indulge on that offer). Our meal was plentiful, delicious and presented beautifully! “I hadn’t been here in a while but after our most recent experience I’ll be going more often. Went for our anniversary dinner. Booked reservations thru Open Table, arrived early and got seated right away in a cozy booth in the bar. There was a card and Anniversary placard waiting for us on the table. We were offered complimentary champagne to toast right away which was delicious. Our server Susan was outstanding and all the food was exceptional. We split a wine flight - loved them all! The pacing was terrific we didn’t have to wait long for anything but we never felt rushed. We went all out for the special occasion with soup, a starter, entrees, sides and desserts but would choose more affordable happy hour options to go more frequently. The menu changes four times a year (with the seasons) and all the calorie counts are kept low for the entrees which I love.“

“After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

“Really like the 3 course "Prix fix" even though there are some aditionalcharges for some elections. Valet parking was appreciated, Well decorated, good selection. One weak spot, and is common in many restraints, are the Hostesses. This is your first impression with any restaurant, yet they place little emesis on training the staff on proper customer service. Look at people when talking to them, not your computer. There should be better communication and interaction with the front desk. Otherwise, Service was excellent, Food was well prepared and presented, prices were fair.“

Garlic bread, fried ravioli (crazy good!) and meatball appetizers (scrumptious!), three deep dish and two thin crust pizzas all with different toppings (everyone loved their order) followed by chocolate obsession (try it!), tiramisu and a chocolate chip cookie pizza (total hit!). Yes, we took some pizza home, but everything else was devoured. And this senior citizen of the group appreciated the fact that there are bathrooms on both floors of the restaurant:)“

Starting from the first day that we went to see The Elm we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had our ceremony in the Kensington room, and our reception in the Madison room. Rachel, our server, was phenomenal, I liked her so much I even asked her to help me "customize" my pasta dish, which she happily did (and it turned out great! The lobster diavolo but with vodka sauce...keeping the spice level.) Caesar salad good but not traditional...and missing anchovies (I know, I'm weird. Very fresh ingredients though.) We were a party of 6 and everyone loved their food. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely be back! Only wish it weren't so cramped inside.“
