Reasonably priced as well: shared appetizer, two teas, two entrees, and two desserts was $60. Will definitely be back for many more dinners!“

He offered 2nd helpings (my only regret is that I did not indulge on that offer). Our meal was plentiful, delicious and presented beautifully! The bartenders cocktails (garnished w/ fresh flowers!) are pure elegance and his customer service skills are excellent! The drag show was a blast! “Had lunch there today and I have to say this is the first time I was disappointed with the service. The food was excellent but that's it. Asked for 2nd drink and never got it. Water was never refilled until we were through eating. When first ordering our wine we had problems. I will continue to eat here and hopefully this is a one time occurrence.“

Starting from the first day that we went to see The Elm we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had our ceremony in the Kensington room, and our reception in the Madison room. I've been a few times and every time it impresses - somehow it keeps getting better, always a little different but also with dependably awesome staples, starting with an amuse-bouche (usually a creamy soup with a mild kick - I'd have a bowl if they served 'em), to the juicy char and crispy yucca of their take on carne asada, and an octopus dish that has changed slightly with different chefs, but is always my favorite. The service bends over backwards smiling to make sure you are too, the desserts are always worth it, even when I'm sure I can't, and the drinks are the best in northern Chicago if not the whole metropolitan area. And the atmosphere is always so fun, I forget where I am. Whether under the big top on the patio, nestled into the main dining area, or hanging out at the bar, it is my favorite place to be in Chicagoland. Their Wicker Park location is the urban version, a chill spot in a busy area, a bit more upbeat but an oasis nonetheless. These guys just know what they're doing. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. Saw the reviews for The Oak and we were so glad we did. The burger I had was the best burger I have ever had, our friend felt the same. My husband and our other friend had the rueben, they loved them also. We left the restaurant and we were going to take individual pics, then this really nice guy offered to take a picture of all of us. He was so very nice. Guess what, he was the owner.
