A burger joint in a strip mall doesn’t inspire confidence, but you walk into this cozy place, with attractive wall murals, and somehow you get the feeling that you’re in the right place. We were in a rush, so came here for a quick lunch - ordered the following: double cheeseburgers, peri peri burgers, veggie samosa burger (off menu) and mango habañero wings….and EVERYTHING was fantastic!!! The double cheeseburgers were juicy, and succulent, the peri peri grilled chicken burger was tender and saucy, the wings were absolutely delicious, crisp despite the mango habañeeo sauce which had the perfect level of sweet heat. Lastly, the veggie burger - so the menu has FANTASTIC samosas, so when we asked if they had a veggie burger, they told us they can prepare a delicious burger using their veggie samosa. Imagine our skepticism, and then our utter shock, when it turned out to be the most delicious spicy, saucy samosa burger we have ever sunk our teeth in! Overall, an excellent experience, but with all the personnel exuding immense warmth and gracious hospitality. Definitely coming here OVER and OVER again!!! Yum!“

“While traveling for work, one of the guys told me to try Lou Malnati’s for authentic Chicago deep-dish, and I know I’m about to commit pizza blasphemy…

I ordered the personal Chicago Classic pizza with a side salad, and here’s the shocking part: the salad was better than the pizza!😬 The pizza just didn’t wow me the way I expected it to! The funniest part? My waitress actually recommended that I order a different pizza. I didn’t listen and now I wish I had!

I’m going to say something even more controversial… I like New York-style pizza better. Please don’t stone me! This is coming from a southerner so, grain of salt. That said, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was great. My waitress was friendly, knew the menu, and tried to steer me in the right direction and I should’ve trusted her! I can absolutely see why this place is so popular, and I’d definitely come back. Next time, I’ll take her advice and order a different pizza before I write off Chicago deep-dish.

The person working there, Domiano (I hope I’m spelling it right 😊), noticed I was in uniform as a first responder 🚓🚑 and instead of just rushing the order because they were close to closing, he actually took a moment to talk with me for about 10 minutes 🗣🙏. That small gesture meant a lot. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and generous the whole time 👍💛. It felt less like a quick stop for food and more like being treated with real respect and kindness. Places like this really stand out because of the people behind them 🌟. We went with the Chicken Limon and Chicken Parmesan with both penne marinara and penne vodka sauce. More than enough food for 15 people easily ! They give you an abundant amount of salad and both choices of chicken were super flavorful! And we absolutely love the bruschetta! Did I mention the 2 pizzas! “I asked AI to find me a Cubano sandwich nearby and it took me to this fantastic place. I got some kind of dish that was phyllo dough with spinach and cheese in the middle of it. I have no idea what it was but it was really good and the staff seemed delighted that I was trying something new for the first time.

I also got their Cuban sandwich and substituted mustard for the Mayo that comes with it. First of all it was ginormous and could have fed two people. The bread was a cross between sourdough and a pizza crust and seemed like it was made right there. And then it had generous helpings of ham and shredded pork with pickles. It was really great!
