“I absolutely love this place!“

“A small celebration was planned at Giordano's in Willowbrook for my nieces' Baptisms. My Hubby and I walked in early with balloons and flowers, two hours early, in fact. Yet this did not faze anyone there. They could not have been nicer. "You're a little early..." "We came to decorate." Stephanie showed us to a sunny corner of the restaurant, all set up for the expected 20 guests. She offered us an ice-cold beverage. Several hours later, the party was in full swing, with a wide variety of fantastic pizza spread out among the many tables. It was served after a delicious and very fresh Caesar salad. Yum! All of our many favorite flavors/crusts were represented, which kept Stephanie busy serving the tables. The pizzas were hot with crispy crusts. The mostaccioli had stretchy cheese with an almost creamy texture. It had a little kick, too. Fabulous! A dessert table followed the pizza, which was just right. We never felt rushed, and so stayed to visit a while longer. This Willowbrook Giordano's was super clean with a cheerful, efficient staff. Thank you, Stephanie and Manager Patrick. We will return!“

“Firstly, they must have a new owner or chef. Their online menu is not offered, and they have a new menu.Don't be fooled by them being located in a hotel, the food was fantastic. I placed a to-go order and it came out quickly and 100% accurate. It was delicious, hot, and well proportioned. The sauce on one of the honey bourbon chicken sandwiches was great.For a Friday night, the dine-in area was dead (and partially dark), but the staff was friendly and welcoming.I would definitely eat here again. I just hope they can stick around long enough for a return visit.“

“Highly recommend! You can't visit Chicago without hitting Portillo's. The Italian beef is incredible, get it with sweet and hot peppers!, and the classic Chicago style hot dogs are a must try. On top of the great food, the service is fantastic, very fast and super friendly!!“

“Yummy food....warm and cozy ciabetta dippers are back. Love the soup and 1/2 sandwich deal. My only complaint was when the iced tea was filled, some tea went on the lid and when I went to drink it, it dripped on my shirt. Ah well...should have looked. Everything else was perfect. Can't beat the chicken soup on a cold Chicago winter day.“

“This is one of my favorite vegan Mexican restaurants. Chef Patricia is so sweet. I almost always get the Carne Asada burrito but I’ve loved everything I have tried. The nachos & tacso are so good too. The peanut butter cookies are probably the best I’ve ever had. I love the chocolate mini Bundt cake.“

“Food and service fantastic. They were running behind with reservations but they comped us drinks an an appetizer...which is pretty unheard of these days. Rachel, our server, was phenomenal, I liked her so much I even asked her to help me "customize" my pasta dish, which she happily did (and it turned out great! The lobster diavolo but with vodka sauce...keeping the spice level.) Caesar salad good but not traditional...and missing anchovies (I know, I'm weird. Very fresh ingredients though.) We were a party of 6 and everyone loved their food. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely be back! Only wish it weren't so cramped inside.“

“So I visited this place at least three times with a carry out order and customer service was awesome first time. Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! They were very nice to help me and for that I’m grateful. They went above and beyond. They made sure I was taken care of. So I brought my daughter there and she agree with the great customer service. Starting from the first day that we went to see The Elm we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had our ceremony in the Kensington room, and our reception in the Madison room. “Hard to not get everything behind the pastry counter! Delicious pastry assortment, savory and sweet-something for everyone! Don’t skip on the pimento biscuit. Super crispy and great balance of buttery, cheesy, perfect amount of pimento in the middle. Coffees tasted great. Wasn’t super busy on a Sunday at 9 but I could see it picking up a bit later. Plenty of seating inside and outside.“

This place is great! Definitely a faithful clone of the original location.

The food is great - just like the Chicago location.

Only downside is that during the dinner rush on Saturday - this place is LOUD. The food is terrific. The service very friendly and efficient.

“After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

“The chili is good. Entered into a chili competition at work and really didnt feel like cooking. Purchased 4 quarts of chili and told my co-workers how I slaved over making this chili, putting just the right spices in to give it its unique taste. Everyone loved it! I lost 1st place by two points, probably because the judge can't add, but whatever. And yes, those are hotdogs in the picture. We made chili dogs. Their cream of chicken soup is good too.“

“Amerikas in Oak Park was fantastic. I had the quesabirria plate and a mojito, and both were excellent. The quesabirria was rich, flavorful, and satisfying, with tender meat and a great balance of seasoning. The plate felt generous and well put together, and every bite had that deep, comforting flavor you hope for.

The mojito was a perfect pairing. It was refreshing, bright, and made the meal feel even more special. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the whole experience felt like a great Oak Park lunch spot.
