“Firstly, they must have a new owner or chef. Their online menu is not offered, and they have a new menu.Don't be fooled by them being located in a hotel, the food was fantastic. I placed a to-go order and it came out quickly and 100% accurate. It was delicious, hot, and well proportioned. The sauce on one of the honey bourbon chicken sandwiches was great.For a Friday night, the dine-in area was dead (and partially dark), but the staff was friendly and welcoming.I would definitely eat here again. I just hope they can stick around long enough for a return visit.“

“This review is not specific to the Willowbrook Portillo's. It is for the entire chain. Portillo's is a Chicagoland icon. Starting with a humble hotdog stand, Frank Portillo built an empire, with 95 locations across the USA. While they all have the same menu, they are all unique in their decor and atmosphere. Usually, the restaurants have a Chicago theme; gangsters from the '30s & '40s, rock and roll, moonshine, or sports; plus, music to match.

Now, the food. Hotdogs,Burgers, Italian Beef, Salads, and Pasta dishes are the specialties of the house, and Portillo's has perfected them. Everything is made to order and cooked to perfection. Place your order at the counter and 5 to 10 minutes later, you have a meal that will ensure you that you must return to try something else from the menu. Or, like me, you can come back over and over to get one of two things: a burger with onion rings, or a big dish of rigatoni with meat sauce.

Now, all that being said, if you go, you have to save room for dessert. Portillo's makes THE best chocolate cake on the planet. And they give you a huge slice of it. I usually eat half and save the rest for another day. If you don't like eating cake, 1) I feel sorry for you, and 2) you can get the famous Portillo's Chocolate Cake Shake. Yes, it is exactly what it sounds like; a milk shake with a whole slice of chocolate cake blended into it. My daughter absolutely loves it.

So, if you are visiting the Chicago metro area, make it a point to visit a Portillo's restaurant. If you live in the Chicago metro area, why are you Rea ding this? You already know...“

“Yummy food....warm and cozy ciabetta dippers are back. Love the soup and 1/2 sandwich deal. My only complaint was when the iced tea was filled, some tea went on the lid and when I went to drink it, it dripped on my shirt. Ah well...should have looked. Everything else was perfect. Can't beat the chicken soup on a cold Chicago winter day.“

“We dined at Seasons 52 after the Easter Brunch had concluded. While the restaurant was really crowded, we were seated within 10-15 minutes of our reservation time. Our server was friendly and attentive, as well as helpful in making suggestions about menu items. We enjoyed the shrimp flatbread and crab stuffed mushrooms as appetizers. My husband's Chilean sea bass and my wood grilled salmon were both perfectly prepared. In addition to the sides which accompanied each of our meals, we shared the Brussels sprouts. Rachel, our server, was phenomenal, I liked her so much I even asked her to help me "customize" my pasta dish, which she happily did (and it turned out great! The lobster diavolo but with vodka sauce...keeping the spice level.) Caesar salad good but not traditional...and missing anchovies (I know, I'm weird. Very fresh ingredients though.) We were a party of 6 and everyone loved their food. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely be back! Only wish it weren't so cramped inside.“

Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! “We had the pleasure of hosting our wedding reception at Francesca’s Amici Elmhurst. The event coordinator, Nancy, was hands down the best. She is well experienced and has a true talent. Our group of nearly 80 people were very comfortable in the private room. There was plenty of room for our guests to enjoy a standing cocktail hour followed with a sit down dinner. The food was even better the evening of, kudos to the kitchen. And they did any excellent job making sure they were well staffed for the event. The staff was EXCELLENT, attentive and helpful. “After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

“The chili is good. Entered into a chili competition at work and really didnt feel like cooking. Purchased 4 quarts of chili and told my co-workers how I slaved over making this chili, putting just the right spices in to give it its unique taste. Everyone loved it! I lost 1st place by two points, probably because the judge can't add, but whatever. And yes, those are hotdogs in the picture. We made chili dogs. Their cream of chicken soup is good too.“

“I’ve been to Greece four different times, and I can tell you right now — Greek Islands gets as close to authentic Greek food as you can possibly get without boarding a flight to Athens.

The food was simply amazing. The chicken kebabs were perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled exactly the way they do it overseas. And the Mediterranean chicken with rice Wow. Full of flavor, tender, and seasoned in a way that instantly brings you back to a seaside taverna. Every bite tasted fresh no shortcuts here.

The calamari was so fresh, I could’ve sworn Poseidon brought the octopus in himself. Lightly breaded, perfectly fried, and incredibly tender — not rubbery at all. That’s how you know it’s the real deal.

The restaurant was super busy, and honestly, I could tell why. When a place is packed like that, it usually means one thing: they’re doing something right. The aesthetics of the restaurant are super cool too — it has that vibrant, warm Greek vibe that makes the whole experience feel authentic and lively.
