50 Best Sushi Bars near Willowbrook

“Staff was so kind and helpful. Food was DELICIOUS and super well priced. Loved their all you can eat dinner. They greeted me and my friends with a warm smile and I felt so good eating there. Will absolutely come again and recommend.“

“Amazing food and service“

“We almost gave this place one star… because they have completely ruined sushi everywhere else for us. The quality here is on another level. The fish is incredibly fresh, the cuts are perfect, and every roll feels intentional and balanced. Nothing is overdone or drowned in sauce. You can actually taste the ingredients. Now every time we try sushi somewhere else, it just does not compare. The standard has officially been set, and unfortunately for every other sushi restaurant, this is it. Consistently exceptional. This has become our go to spot.“

“They have super good Japanese sea urchin that I’ve never had before, they even offer a unique way to serve it. Which I have tried the uni shooter with quail egg and it’s soo good! Their toro sushi is super worth it compared to the ones in the city and super high quality. Definitely recommend it!“

“A really great lunch spot to dine and chat with friends!! I came during the “lunch special” hours of 11-3. Service was immediate and very friendly. Both specials we chose also included a rich miso soup. The tempura batter was perfection, crispy and light but not greasy. Everything was presented in a way that was pleasing to the eye. I will definitely return!!“

“The wait staff was excellent and if I remember correctly we had Gary as our waiter!! Quick and friendly! Wonderful food! Amazing drinks🥃“

“Had an absolutely wonderful dinner at this sushi spot in Oak Park. The fish was super fresh, each plate looked like a little piece of art. The service was warm and attentive. The whole space was relaxing and welcoming. Definitely going back with friends for more great sushi. Byob too which helps the wallet.“

“This place turned it around so hard-core. Absolutely amazing now. Used to be a dump. Whoever took it over knows exactly what their doing. I was reluctant to go again. We went. I was blown away and thats hard to do. This is a must go to if you haven't already. Or if you need to give them a 2nd chance like we did, you will not be disappointed.“

“My husband and I recently discovered this gem!!! We don't live in Glen Ellyn and we started coming in July and have already been back 8 times! The fish is the freshest, the rolls/sashimi beyond delicious, the service and all the staff are always so nice and thoughtful. we can't wait to reserve their private seating floor room soon too. Highly recommend.“

Hidden little jem. We’ll have to try their other dish’s next time and bring family for a full dinner review.

Service was quick.“

“It's amazing! I live in Illinois and I still wish it could be closer!“

“This is absolutely a one of a kind experience! My mother and I did the “Decadent Omakase” as it was our first visit. Lee, our waiter was amazing. All of the staff that helped us were so informative and kind! The flavor in each selection was beyond this world. It was pricey but worth every single penny. I have never had a better experience in my life. The Omakase was EIGHT COURSES. Every one being perfectly curated. I cannot wait to go back.“

“Delicious food! The service was very good and the space was welcoming, clean and comfortable. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Very tasty sweet and sour stir fry and fresh spring roll. Would recommend 10/10 and will come again to try the pho and other dishes in the menu. Thank you for the hospitality.“

“RAAAAAAH BEST PLACE TO GO TOO!! it was peak for my 12th birthday so much food and the guy cooking was funny AND THEY GIVE CHEESECAKE FOR BIRTHDAYS AND SING😁😁😁 it felt so awesome I had to pinch myself a few times to make sure I wasn't dreaming 5 STARS WILL GO BACK NEXT YEAR FOR MY 13TH BIRTHDAY 😁😁“

“Came in a party of 11 at 9pm since most of our group was craving sushi, and the staff did a fantastic job of getting us in and out in an hour, without feeling rushed. The sushi rolls were presented beautifully, and more importantly, delicious! Highly recommend!“

“The food was fresh and delicious.“

“the food here is exquisite, they put a lot of care into their preparation... And it makes for delicious dining.. I give this place five stars“

“The best sushi in the western suburbs……but it painful to order from here. They’re careless on their orders so double check. Their customers double park and Elmhurst police must have an arrangement with them to allow it. So don’t use York road on weekend dinner time when you drive away possibly with a delicious mistaken order. Below is my sashimi order (lol).“

“The food was excellent! I especially loved the Rock Bomb Roll—it was definitely a standout. Taro is my go-to, so I was a little disappointed that there was no tapioca available, but we live and move on!
The first crab rangoon was delicious, but the second seemed a bit rushed and the filling was noticeably cold. Hopefully just a one-off, because the rest of the meal was great.
My wife and baby both really enjoyed the food. The location was quiet and cozy, which made for a very relaxing experience. For those who prefer a little more privacy, you can also order directly through the QR code at the table, which is a nice touch.
Our server was attentive, friendly, and provided great service. It’s honestly refreshing to see that level of attention, especially when good service can sometimes feel overlooked these days.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back!“

“Great food and service. Large menu to choose from. Will be back.“

“Been going here for over 45 years and never had one bad meal. The remodeled restaurant is fantastic and very comfortable.“

“5 stars for sure! Their takoyaki balls and sushi are top notch! I’m in love with this place. Perfect for a night out“

“The BEST Spicy Tuna Hand Rolls on the planet!“

“Such a cute cozy spot on the 2nd floor of Habrae Thai. We got a mix of maki rolls & noodle dishes and everything was terrific. The staff were super sweet and brought out a special dessert for our birthday celebration. I love to see local spots expand and I hope more people are able to stop by for some post work sake!“

“My husband and I have been coming for years ! The sushi is fantastic and our server Tami is amazing!! We request her every time. She already knows our favorite items and is always there to help with a smile. PS The Tuna dumplings are a must have !“

“This Sushi restaurant was a delight and entertaining from the moment we walked in. Originally recommended from TikTok this atmosphere did not disappoint with the exciting conveyor of menu items!!! 👏“

“Horrible food. Over priced and gross. Do not recommend. No flavor and what I ordered was definitely not what it was supposed to be. 🤮“

“todo muy bien es la 2 vez que venimos en menos de 1 año . nos encantó“

“Pleasantly surprised by this place! My daughter really wanted to try some new foods, Chinese food and sushi in particular. Price is a few bucks cheaper than Golden Corral - includes fountain drinks/coffee and scoop your own ice cream station. Sushi bar gets top rating from my kid! Also some family friendly options like garlic bread, pizza, chicken nuggets. She wants to go daily.“
