“Pretty good all you can eat sushi. Im a really big fan of shrimp tempura rolls and they were great here. I also liked the Mexican roll, salmon inside with salmon and jalapeno on top. The only problem I had with them was the wait time. After ordering it took like 30 minutes before they gave our food and we went on a Wednesday.“
“The food was really great, huge portions for a good price. We did have to wait a while even though we had a reservation. It felt a little chaotic, but we did have 12 in our party, so probably that was the reason. They are super busy, give them a lot of credit handling so many in a small space. I do plan to go back, maybe takeout, though.“
“My boyfriend and I love sushi and have tried places over the country. This was hands down the best sushi we have ever had. The owner was so kind and even gave us a special role to just try! The salmon was amazing. My favorite roll was The Grinch and his was That roll. We will be back again soon!“
“The beef tatami was excellent, lamb chops & calamari were good, yellowtail was ok...rice pot didn't have much flavorSteve, server had excellent interaction. Support staff was ok...plate change didn't happen unless we requested and was very slow, table never got manicured throughout$300 spend on party of 2“
“I cannot rave enough about Kinta Sushi. I have been a patron for over 15 years and no matter where I've moved around I'll make the drive to get there! Dining in is always a great experience. The most friendly staff I have ever encountered. The quality of sushi is always top tier and the price matches. Dining in is always comfortable and clean. Presentation is nice and a fair mix of traditional and modern twists. I also frequently pick up to go and they have never missed a thing in my orders. Not only that but they always label the containers which I appreciate so much. My go to order always includes the stuffed mushrooms. And I've always been a big fan of the green bay roll! Their sashimi always impresses me as well. I am just a very satisfied and happy long time customer and I will be as long as they are in operation.“
“First time going here and I couldn't be more impressed, the restraunt is very clean and the staff are nice. The food is fresh and very good. Got the salmon obsession sushi burrito and it was very good! Can't wait to try their other dishes.“

“I had just left a review somewhere else about how I've never had a restaurant that served both ramen and sushi where the ramen was actually decent, but there's a first time for everything, right? The restaurant itself is quaint, but comfortable and has a nice ambience. I sat right in front of the sushi making area so I had a nice little show while I ate. The server was nice and took my order quickly and checked in on me enough.I had ordered both a miso ramen and a couple pieces of tamago nigiri. Funny enough, while my usual complaint is the ramen at a sushi restaurant, today it's more of a small complaint about the sushi! The sushi itself didn't taste bad at all. It was well-made, in fact. My only "complaint" was that the tamago was still very cold from the fridge, but still really tasty. It didn't affect my overall experience. The ramen was great and the presentation was really nice. I'm really fond of miso ramen in general and they made it really well here.Noodles: The noodles are thinner, springy, and chewy. They were pleasant to eat and tasted amazing. They had a nice neutral taste that went well with the broth.Broth: The broth was rich and savory and had a good miso flavor. It was served perfectly hot.Toppings: The pork tasted like it was marinated well and was nicely braised. The egg wasn't marinated in anything and was a plain soft boiled egg. The bamboo shoots also tasted good on their own. I also enjoyed the corn last in the broth. Everything worked well both separately and together.Overall, I was very pleased with Lili Sushi & Ramen! I'll definitely be coming back to enjoy the other bowls of ramen offered here!Vegetarian options: They have vegetable ramen“
“I love Wasabi as it is always neat and clean, the restaurant and the atmosphere is hospitable. I mostly order delivery but their service is top notch and always timely and the food is excellent everytime. I recommend to anyone who wants to try this kind of food to try Wasabi first and i promise you'll be delighted as i always am.“
“Hamds-down my absolute favorite sushi restaurant in the western suburbs of Chicago. The Asian Tacos and Crazy Jalapeño are a must for starters and I've yet to have a specialty roll I didn't love, to include a few off-menu rolls. Be sure to ask your server about those. Speaking of the staff, very friendly and equally attentive. The speed of service is also above par. Nabuki is certainly a spot worth visiting the next time you're in Hinsdale.“
“Really great sushi. Lots of options on the menu. I love that it’s lowkey and kind of casual. Haven’t had sushi this good in a while so I will definitely be coming back. I’m super happy me and my dad found this place today on google. Making Otobo the go-to for future sushi plans.“
“Had the best experience dining here with coworkers. Jess was our server and was warm and welcoming, offering suggestions and pairings, and had the beat timing- we never felt rushed or interrupted. The martinis and crafted cocktails were as delicious as they were beautiful. Appetizers were delicious and the portion size was great- don't miss the brussel sprouts! Now the sushi... wow- creative and meticulously prepared rolls and sashimi with a menu that has something for everyone-- and the vegan options are incredible! Can't wait to come back. Thanks for a great night out and a. fantastic service experience.“
“We tried BNK for the first time last night, and could not have been happier! The mini crab & veggie spring rolls were delicious (we fought over the last ones) and the Spicy Peanut Sauce dish with chicken was so good I licked the plate :)“
“Our family loves coming to this place. Great service all the time; they always make it feel more personable as if you were their family.Everything on the menu is a must. Their Godzilla and Chicago Fire Sushi rolls are the best.Miso and Hot and sour soups hot the spot on cold days and the saki give you that kick if you're looking spice.Overall great hidden gem in LaGrange.“
“While it's a wee little place that often isn't crowded, the staff is on the ball and the food is better than you might expect. They do a serious take out business for a reason and their prices are reasonable especially for the fresh food.“
“This is a great price for the all you can eat. The rolls were delicious and the fried rice was the best fried rice I’ve ever had. I love that the appetizers and soup and salad are included in the all you can eat. I’m glad we came out it was so good I’ll definitely be back.“
“Let's start with the service and the atmosphere. When you enter, the atmosphere is warm, relaxed, the employees are cordial and attentive. We continue with the food, the Suschi is incredible from the presentation to the flavor, my taste buds exploded when I felt the exquisite mix of flavors.“
“We went there last night and got a take out order. I love Chinese food. This food is the best ! The staff is very friendly and polite . The food is so good that this is My go to restaurant when I’m in Elmhurst from now on. I am very delighted that we stopped in .“
“Beautiful dining room with a unique raised floor with glass covering the sand.Sushi was ok. Lots of items but all very similar. Expensive! The entry does not have a vestibule and we were blasted with cold air each time the door opened.Server Noe was friendly and efficient“
“Stopped in with our 1 year old for sushi and everything was great!! Super fast service and family friendly. After leaving to get in our car, we found out that our car died, and the restaurant owner helped us jump our car! Above and beyond service. Thank you!“
“Lu’s was recommended and we couldn’t be more pleased. A great choice and nothing disappointed. Crab Rangoon was delicious, pot stickers were dense and fill of flavor and the Mongolian beef simply the best I have ever had. There was a sweetness to the gravy and I can’t wait to have leftovers today.“
“This is a very random and small spot, but I absolutely loved the sushi. It made me feel good after eating it, I feel energized! Please check it out you won’t regret it. The Godzilla Roll and Ko House Roll are amazing! I had to leave a review.“
“Every single thing we ordered was delicious and nothing was left uneaten! From the crab Rangoon, to the chicken friend rice and all 6 sushi rolls- it was delicious! A great atmosphere from the moment you arrived. Love the warm towels and nice chopsticks! Definitely recommend and kid friendly for how nice it is!“
“Absolutely out of his ?! Best Sushi I've ever had... The service is absolutely wonderfu!!!. This restaurant has a very homey vibe and the staff is very welcoming. They have the Christmas spirit, well decorated and I can't hardly wait to come back! A+++++Kid-friendliness: Super patient with my 6yr old daughter with tons of curious questions. I can't speak enough about the outstanding service and welcoming atmosphere!“
“I've been going to sushi nest for years, this place is still amazing, ordered to go recently so that's where the picture is from, BUT EVEN TO GO IT WAS SO GOOD, definitely prepared with love, thank you guys!Top left is forest roll, under it is the red dragon, the one with the small leafy garnish is called four seasons, below that the Godzilla, below that the king crab roll, and we ordered a sashimi dinner on the side as well with the edamame“
“I love this restaurant! The sushi and other menu items are always tasty and good quality. The staff is nice and very helpful for first timers. The meal can get expensive really fast as they charge by the plate, so come prepared for that. The only downside is that it can be exceptionally loud , especially when they are busy as it is a small space and there a lot of people in it. The kura bots are cute but play a loud song to let you know they are coming or near, as a safety thing.“
“I would give this 10 stars if I could - The best sushi in the western suburbs! The quality is always AMAZING and the service while dining in is also incredible. The prices are so good for the quality of rolls. Some of our favorites are the Godzilla, XMas, Cubs, Ogden Ave.“
“OMG best little place in carol steam, I'm here Sunday night no one is here and I am wondering why, I had a drink called sunshine, it's pineapple, orange, strawberry juices is delicious. I had crab legs, corn, potato, eggs, salad came with meal, the dressing on salad was very different but soft and delicate, the crab was very clean, sweet and plenty. ordered the cajin house, mild still had a kick of spice but perfect. If I could give this place a 10 star it would get an 11. Fabulous delightful very quiet, server's was not a pest, but cleaned up right away. I still don't know why it's not packed. This is a must go to if your in carol stream IllinoisParking: Plenty of pull in spotsKid-friendliness: Tv, kids menue“
“Excited to have a quick date night at the new ramen spot! The lights were warm and just right. They clearly figured out a way to dim their lights (or turn off some of them). The ramen was delicious! The broth was creamy and seasoned well. Definitely not watery or bland as previous reviews suggested. Must have tweaked the recipes. Ramen typically isn't like Pho with a lot of broth. After the ramen, we were actually pretty full. We each also got a roll and an appetizer and struggled to finish everything! My rainbow roll was fresh and done well. My Caucasian husband liked his Wheaton roll. The tuna appetizer had a nice bite to it from a slight sear. Servers were very nice and attentive. We had a great time!“
“I want to give an excellent review of the restaurant. The sushi menu is on another level. I have eaten at different sushi restaurants, even with native Asian owners, and I think this restaurant exceeds all my expectations. Every time I go, I try a new dish, and I am satisfied with my choice. The service is unique, and the atmosphere is calm, relaxed, and welcoming. a 10/10.“
“Nice entryway. I was greeted immediately upon walking in & seated right away. The waitress (Annie) was nice and prompt. The restaurant was clean.I ordered the Alaskan Roll with Miso Soup & Edamame. I ordered shrimp fried rice to go. Everything was fresh and came out quickly. The rolls were thick and meaty. The meal was accompanied by wasabi, soy sauce and chop sticks. However, the sushi doesn't need sauce or any additional items. It was delicious. The fried rice is some of the best I've tasted.Parking: Free, but limited parking on the street.“
“I often remind myself to avoid rushing to judgment based on first impressions. This mantra proved valuable during my recent visit to Kona Grill, booked via OpenTable—an app that rarely lets me down. The online photographs of the restaurant were promising, though they offered little insight into the ambiance.Upon arrival, I noted the setting was more casual than anticipated, but the warm welcome from my server, Paige, convinced me to stay. Paige was knowledgeable and attentive, expertly guiding me through the menu. She recommended the Ribeye Meatballs—a succulent combination of shallots, shiitake mushrooms, macadamia nuts, a chili glaze, and a creamy peppercorn sauce. The dish was an unexpected delight.Encouraged by Paige's impeccable taste, I also tried the Sweet-Chili Glazed Salmon served over fried rice. The pairing was innovative and flavorful, challenging traditional plating methods with its bold textures and tastes.I concluded the meal with a cappuccino, which arrived charmingly accompanied by a rock candy stirrer—a whimsical touch that rounded off the dining experience pleasantly.A heartfelt thanks to both Paige and Mario, the General Manager, for their exceptional hospitality that transformed a simple meal into a memorable culinary adventure.#chicago #foodie #restaurant #hiddengems #oakbrook #Illinois — at Kona Grill.“
“Great sushi and gyoza dumplings. We got the shrimp tempura roll, Blackhawk roll, and sweetheart roll. All delicious. Very clean restaurant with nice, lounge-like decor. Very nice staff as well. Was not crowded on a Friday night but lots of takeout orders. We went later at night but I can imagine this place gets crowded at peak times.“
“Me and wife went for dinner, we're Sushi lovers and we ordered 4 specialty sushi rolls, plus the agadashi tofu. They were delicious, I can't say the best, but there tasty. I would definitely recommend the place.Service was great, no complaints about it.The atmosphere was ok, we could talk over dinner and enjoy ourselves, not like other loud places.Place wasn't crowded even on a Friday. So we were sitted right away.I can't say this will be my new favorite sushi place, but I will definitely come back eventually.“
“First time here and it was amazing! 4 adults and one baby, seated right away. Service was top notch, super friendly. Food was really fresh and soooo good, better than we expected for an all-you-can-eat meal! Lots of options on the all-you-can-eat menu, too. Sushi, Mochi dessert, salad, and apps were all excellent. We will absolutely be back!“
“we to this restaurant for my birthday and the food was great we liked it because they have sushi and Asian and Thai dishes my grandsons were with and they also had a kids menu.My husband had chicken fried rice , I had double fried noodles that had a very good sauce and my daughter sushi that she said was also fresh and very good . I had a drink with dinner the waitress recommended that was a mangoitini that was great , the good was very good the service was really good and we liked the look of the restaurant.I would definitely be eating there again a lot of different dishes to choose from and nice atmosphere. We also had appetizers that was calamari and crab Rangoon the calamari was very tender and the kids and adults enjoyed tge crab Rangoon.“
“Dropped by this one for an early weekend lunch and overall the food was quite good. I did the chicken katsu/cutlet served with a side if white rice and some steamed veggies. Very nice and crispy outside and juicy on the inside. Also shared one of their specialty rolls and took a few bites a chirashi bowl. I have to mention that the fish here is much fresher and better quality than some of the surrounding sushi spots. Being the first customers in, the service was good so no issue or complaints there. Ambiance quiet. It's a pretty small spot with just a few tables and a sushi bar. Will definitely consider this spot then next time I craving some quality sushi. 'Til next time, cheers!“
“I'm delighted with this place, I was passing by and stopped in for dinner. Very tasty rolls names “Best west “ and sushi eel and salmon, the fish is very fresh. I would definitely come back here, price plus quality, decent friendly staff, and plus it’s very tasty. cozy atmosphere, music playing ♥️ ?“
