“Bloom has become my favorite place to grab brunch in Wicker Park on Sundays! Stunning atmosphere, incredibly thoughtful, kind, attentive staff, and the food consistently blows me away! This weekend I went with a friend and we shared their Avocado Toast special which was an easy 10/10. Their Caesar Salad is always a must (and a tasty way to sneak in greens with brunch). The star of the show for me is always the Tempeh Ranchero Omelette - it nearly brings me to tears every single time (it's that GREAT)!! It was nearly 70 degrees outside and we sat right in the window with them open and it was glorious. If you're looking for a great spot for a girl's brunch, date night, or foodie spot in Chicago, this is an absolute MUST!“
“We have one of these back home in Atlanta, but my first time visiting. I love that she asked for allergies and then gave me a menu marked up with what I couldn't eat.Ordered the Plant Powered Lunch, which included a starter, signature dish, and a dessert. Of course I ordered another appetizer lol.Crispy Gyoza - pretty good. Can't say that I would order it again though.BAO SLIDER - this was really good! I appreciated the crispiness of the mushrooms. Probably the best bao sliders I've had. Including when I use to eat meat.SPINACH SHIITAKE DUMPLINGS- my cousin ordered this. Great flavor, I really like these!!POKE BOWL - This was all I needed it to be and more!! Again, the best I've ever had. Of all the poke bowls I've had, this is my favorite. The rice was perfectly cooked. Chicken friend mushrooms were amazing. I loved the ahi watermelon, it provided the perfect zing for your tongue. All the flavors provided the perfect comSINGAPORE NOODLES - They both ordered this dish. I wasn't really a fan of it but they both really enjoyed it.Chocolate chip cookie. The one that was included was in a packaged wrapper. Very good!I then had to be extra and ordered an extra cookie. This time it came out warm!!! Soooooo good!Vegetarian options: Menu is all plant based options.“
“Amazing food - while we are sad they closed the restaurant operations, at least they are still open for take out. Show them some love if you can, the vegan/vegetarian community needs to rally for thesefolks.Vegetarian options: These folks are frankly putting out Frontera quality vegan food - and we love Frontera.“
“Penelope's Vegan Taqueria Andersonville hits the spot! Honestly, this is probably the best vegan Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. The portions are a nice size with many great menu options. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food and ambiance are great. The Chunky Quesa Taco (cheddar cheese quesadillas taco topped with asada, onion, cilantro, lettuce, tomato and green salsa) is a must try! Overall, if you visit, you will not regret it!“
“We loved the vegan ice cream sundaes and milkshakes. My family has allergies to milk and reactions to gluten and we were safe with our choices. The service is polite, relaxed, and fast. If you have the chance, try the Godzilla sundae; the toasted marshmallows are genius!Dietary restrictions: All vegan! Gluten-free with caveatsKid-friendliness: It's fun, cute, ice cream treats!“
“5 stars for this gem of place in Chi-town ! Not only was the service amazing, but the juices and bites to eat were the best plant based and vegan food I have ever had. My favorite was the matcha donut. It was so yummy I couldn’t believe it was made with no sugar! I left feeling fueled and inspired to continue on my plant based journey. Sundrip is a must try for all! You won’t regret it. <3“
“This location had been in our list of places to eat at and I am SO glad we FINALLY made it happen.I’ve come twice and gotten:EVERYTHING GREEN* $13.5spinach, baby green beans, cucumber, avocado, edamame, pistachios, green goddess or vegan ranch dressingMy hubby had -NASHVILLE HOT FRIED “CHICKEN”* $13hen of the woods mushrooms, bread & butter pickles, hot sauce, slaw, ranch, brioche bunI had a side of plantains and the second time I had a side of vegan cheese fries. We had the Handle-rita, like a margarita but better. So good! Will be back.“
“I wish I had a picture, but I ate the donuts too fast... LOL. The past few weeks, I have purchased these not only for my husband and I, but also have taken them to my sister and brother's place as a little pick me up. Neither of them believed the donuts were vegan. They were so happy with the treat I brought them, definitely my new go-to when bringing something sweet to someone's home. We have tried the chocolate and regular glazed, Oreo, apple fritter, coffee cake, and Boston crème. All fab and I cannot wait to try the others!“

“Logan Vegan easily has the best vegan Ice Cream I've ever had, and the owner John makes it himself which I find even cooler. It's coconut based, but doesn't taste coconutty at all. The taste and texture is just like normal ice cream. I'm lactose intolerant and used to just take a bunch of lactaids when I go to Jeni's ice cream but now I just go to Logan Vegan and I'm good - haven't been back to Jeni's in months. My personal favorites are the mint chip and cookies & cream.“
“Have not been disappointed with any of the items I have tried. Nice clean family owned with vegan options. And the owners and staff are super friendly and give good recommendations if you aren't familiar with the fare. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Chopli is delicious and the monkfruit BBQ sandwich was yummy“
“Their muffins are delicious, I bought different flavored ones, just a little upset that the cream cheese muffin was pretty empty in the inside when opened in half, it was still delicious tho, maybe they should add more cream cheese or add more of the bread to it, if I make senses. Overall great flavor and lots of moisture soft muffins !“
“DELICIOSO!!!!!?Ordered the pork tamale dinner with red mole sauce and the chicken tamale with green mole sauce. The pork was a lot more tender than the chicken and it also had more flavor. Both tamales were great but we preferred the pork. The red Mole sauce has a very deep rich smokey like flavor and just a subtle sweetness to it not sweet at all really, very subtle. The green mole sauce is definitely a little bit more bright and citrusy in flavor probably from the tomatillos and it was delicious and our favorite of the two. Will definitely be coming back for the pork tamales with the green mole sauce. For just the tamale with sauce is 8 bucks but if you get the dinner for $12 you get rice and beans. Great portion! Have no pictures to share because we devoured it right away. ?We also tried their kale aqua fresca, and it tasted more like a fresh green apple refresher! Still refreshing.Customer service was friendly, place was clean and inviting.Hard to find parking along Halsted but we were able to snag a spot right in front on a Sunday afternoon. Will be returning and highly recommend!“
“Not only is everything delicious, the owners are the absolute best humans. The raw bars are unreal! The ingredients are so guilt-free, they satisfy any dessert cravings you’re having and overall are just a 10/10. As someone who as prioritized her health over the last couple years but has a severe sweet tooth, finding ingrained has been life changing. Also, if you’re lucky enough to catch something savory on the menu, snag it you will not regret it.“
“This may be my new favourite restaurant in Chicagoland — an opinion shared by my family. We enjoyed stellar food. Even by non-vegetarian standards. The Tom Kha soup and spicy eggplant (which also tastes great mild) are fantastic. The curry we tried was also very good. The soy “chicken” has excellent texture and flavour, whether soft or battered. One plate per person is a reasonable serving size.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“Tried the zucchini soup for the first time. It was delicious! The mini fajita burrito is good and one of my favorite snack foods.Vegetarian options: Vegan food that's too delicious!! Vegetarians can eat it and non vegan customers as well.Dietary restrictions: GF, nut ingredients labeledParking: Street parking on Archer AveKid-friendliness: Have seen families enjoying their meal“
“Wish we had this in DC! Hit me up if you want an investor! :-)On business travel and it's always hard to find healthy, convenient food choices. Came here because of the reviews and I have to say, that was one of the best veg bowls I've had, period. I topped it off with the turkey meatballs which were awesome! I also did the tahini and green goddess dressing which was delish! One recommendation, I would have ordered the salmon but it looked dry and like it had been sitting there getting too much air. I would cover it preferably with a clear glass lid. The turkey meatballs were covered and sitting in some broth which kept them fresher. I was there right at closing, which accounts for the lonely salmon. I will be back this week and then some. The roasted beets & carrots were also off the hook BTW.Dietary restrictions: They were very attentive about dietary restrictions.Kid-friendliness: Clean, pretty and spacious location.“
“Their Italian ice is the best we've tried by far. It's very flavorful, perfect texture and refreshing. So far I've tried strawberry, lemon, grape and lime. All are excellent. I can't wait to try the other flavors. After trying Little Lulu's Ice, I finally understand why people get so excited about Italian ice. This is far superior to others I've tried.“
“The vegan donuts were amazing. My 10 year old son, who has a dairy and egg allergy, was able to experience a donut for the first time! The staff was very friendly and the old school arcade games were an added bonus. We'll be back on our next trip to Chicago!“
“Best breakfast ever! Stopped here for a quick breakfast and got a vegan strawberry banana smoothie along with a big pack of empanadas! It was all so delicious, and I will be back when traveling! I couldn't recommend this place enough. My favorite was definitely the margherita empanada. I will say that this place has honey in some of their smoothies, but clearly labels it.“
“I enjoy elephant + vine! I was really impressed by the plant-based burger and the cauliflower wings. The dairy free shamrock shake was interesting. It tasted good but had a bit of an odd aftertaste, but it is a great option for anyone with dietary restrictions.I found it to be a little bit expensive for the portion sizes provided; however, it makes sense, given it is in Lincoln Park and is entirely plant-based.I also like the plants at the entrance.“
“OMG! I have missed good take out since going vegan, and this place blew my mind! They had all the classic Chinese rake out dishes. Everything I got tasted exactly like what I remember prior to being vegan. I got sweet and sour chicken, vegan salt & pepper shrimp, wonton soup, and bean paste dessert rice balls. Everything was heavenly and wish I had stuff like this where I lived. I will definitely be back when I'm in the Chicago area again! Heck, I'd travel just for this food! I love that it's located in Chinatown too, which is a very cool area! The menu labeled what wasn't vegan/had egg & dairy.“
“I love this place! Me and my friend always come every weekend to catch up on life and gossip, over sangrias and Chardonnay (our favorites ??. The atmosphere is chill and the service is top notch. Thank you Gerard for such a fantastic and friendly service! ?“
“Cute spot for lunch. I got the curry bowl and the bbq meat substitute was VERY. GOOD. I could eat that every day honestly. Other people in our group got the wrap and burger but I was kind of disappointed that the “fries” the burger comes with is literally just veggie straw chips lol…The smoothies are also very good, not too sweet and refreshing.Service was very slow as there’s just 1 guy working there making everything, but I don’t blame him.Overall cute spot, just confused why the fries are veggies straws…“
“So Good! Vast wine and beer selection, and great intimate atmosphere. I’ve gone by myself and with others, a blast every time. The toffee cake is so damn good, it’s outrageous. Mushroom flatbread is delicious too.*they rotate the wine selection; so if you have a favorite on the menu, write it down for your notes“
“As someone who constantly seeks out innovative and health-conscious food options, I was thrilled to stumble upon this unique vegan hot muffin that intriguingly resembles an empanada. The quality of ingredients is top-notch. You can tell that each component has been chosen with care and consideration for both flavor and health benefits. The muffin is free from artificial additives, reinforcing its commitment to natural, wholesome nutrition. When it comes to price, this vegan hot muffin hits the sweet spot. It's affordable enough to be a regular part of your diet without feeling like a splurge, yet the quality and taste make it feel like a treat. This balance of cost and quality is not easily found in the market, especially for vegan options that are often priced at a premium.“
“Entering the establishment the smells are so over powering i loved it, I was welcomed by Steven. Such a nice person very helpful as well. Gave me a sample of some cookie dough, was over all very helpful, i was surprised to find out that they were dairy free and vegetarian but tasted amazing regardless. Would definitely go back and try more options.Vegetarian options: For not being a vegetarian i highly enjoyed the rolls but don’t forget to purchase a drink.“
“Loved everything I've ever ordered here! Food is fresh and flavorful. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.Homemade mango lassi, chicken tikka masala, samosa, vegetable biryani are my favorite menu items.Vegetarian options: A great place for vegetarians, vegans, and meat eaters to all feel comfortable eating together.“
“ATK is a great spot for authentic Thai food, with plenty of vegan options. Not only do they have good vegan options, but their menu makes it very clear which options are vegan. I recommend the Pad Ped!Please note that ATK is a cash-only restaurant, but they do have an ATM on-site.“
“You must try the vegan pizza. The worst part of becoming vegan was giving up cheese. I've tried vegan pizza at many places and did not like any of them until trying the vegan pizza at Soul Veg City. They also sale it by the slice. My favorite slices are the veggie, the plain cheese and the jalapeño and olive.“
“I went to Protein Bar & Kitchen yesterday for my first time and really enjoyed it. I got the Carnitas bowl without meat and it was very tasty! It honestly reminded me of a healthier Chipotle. I highly recommend Protein Bar & Kitchen for a quick lunch and will definitely be back!“
“This is one of my favorite places for lunch when I got into the office. I visit the store at least 1x per week. The food is always very fresh and the service is great!! The store is very popular.I want to give a BIG shout out to Yaritea Perez!! She went above and beyond for me today!! I greatly appreciate your kindness and help!! I will see you again next week!! THANK YOU!!If you haven't been here, give this restaurant a try!!“
“This afternoon I wanted to try some Vegan food. I've tasted Vegan food before, but that was before my Vegan/Vegetarian journey. Today I got the Jerk Jack Taco dinner for me and my husband and the Vegan mac and cheese and it was so good. I just wish they delivered to Maywood. It looks like I'll be traveling to get my Vegan food.“
“I was amazed by the vegan selections available. The 290 Burger was very well seasoned had a nice spicy kick. The vegan cheese used is very rich and creamy, it was so delicious. I appreciate also the community resources available in her restaurant.Overall, tasty and well seasoned vegan food that I can tell was made with love.Vegetarian options: 100% vegan dinerKid-friendliness: Coloring books and games available for all“
“My favorite healthy eating spot. Most other places have tons of hidden sugar and an enormous amounts of carbs. Washington & wells is the best protein bar! The staff here is the awesome. Joan makes my husband and I smile every morning - she seriously has the best personality. Chris always has our breakfast ready, always has a smile, and the manager Phil is just hysterical. I don't know anyone else's name but everyone in that store is great!“
“I work in the building so this is always a lunch staple esp in the cold months. However I have noticed that the quality of the food items become questionable towards the last few hours of opening. The salmon was cold even though I ordered it fresh. On a separate occasion, I ordered hard boiled eggs and felt sick after eating them.“
“Ordered takeout. Got the Jungle Noodles, Soy chicken wrap and Sweet Sticky Rice with mango. I’d recommend the Jungle Noodles and sticky rice. Their Jungle noodles are so slurpy and spicy ? Soy chicken wrap was average. More soy meat would make the wrap better.“
“Keenan was a phenomenal employee. He greeted me upon arrival & was patient while I scoured the menu. He was pleasant & informative with explaining all the options & sauces.Vegetarian options: You build it how u want with 20+ items.Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of seating & open space for navigating.“
“Food is consistently delicious, service is always prompt and fast, and staff are professional and wonderful and are empowered to make decisions when there are issues which is very rare. I highly recommend this store. You won't be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Large selection and delicious made with super fresh ingredients.“
“Kitchen 17 is a solid vegan spot known for their vegan Chicago style deep dish. They have a lot of options for pizzas and burgers, plus a few appetizers. They also have specialty drinks ranging from typical to oddball. The ambience is kind of like a cozy Halloween feel, with lots of dark colors and orange and purple lights. Also lots of odd decorations, like dolls and tchotchkes, but a final atmosphere. They have board games too, and a couple pinball machines. Highly recommended for plant based and meat eaters alike.Vegetarian options: Everything is plant based!Dietary restrictions: Everything is plant-based and many options are gluten friendly“
“Chef Cheryl is a master at her craft! You will never taste frosting this well balanced and light and fluffy and a smile in every bite! She took on a two cake order with less than a weeks notice and they were a huge hit at my sister’s wedding with almost every guest asking for seconds and demanding to know where they were from! We had the cinnamon cream cheese 12” cake and the raspberry lemon 8”! I’m ordering all my baking needs from Chef Cheryl! Please be sure that you do the same to sweeten your life!“
“Happy I was finally able to try this place! I tried the Baykin sandwich, and it was filling. The plain cream cheese lacked flavor. I wouldn't mind trying the flavored one for next time. Other than that, the pickle they gave with it was very crunchy. They have some available tables with seats. Takeout was fast and easy.“
“Fancy Plants is a cute same peaceful little spot for some great vegan eats. Conducive to work, coffee with a friend or a quick lunch/coffee break it's a not -so-hidden gem!Delish food, creative menu for both food and drink and happy vibes from staff and guests! I wish I could lunch here every day! Also super easy to get to on transit routes& on foot/cycle.Vegetarian options: Non dairy milks and cashew cheese -the best!!Delicious veggie lunches& breakfastsDietary restrictions: They had gf baked deliciousness as well!“
“Very good portion size and value with the unlimited BYO salad - the white chicken chili today (Fri 5/26) was also phenomenal to pair with the salad. Excited to visit this place more, as I love Just Salad but this is closer, and most salads from JS are too small to fill me up.“
“The food is definitely very good, you really think you are eating the machetes of the worker colony in Cdmx.1. What takes away points is that there is no option for parking, but it can be corrected by searching nearby streets.2. The cashier should improve her hygiene a little, wear a mask and not wipe her snot in front of the diners.Parking: Search surrounding streets.“
“I don't know how they ended up there but there's always a bunch of soul vegan options at my local bodega. All of them are good, but I'd sell my left foot for a lifetime supply of the Chik'n salad wrap. All offerings are good, but that wrap is amazing.“
“Good quality and healthy options. Good plain chia pudding. Appears hard to find in Chicago. It is a bit of a weird concept though. Can be confusing to have multiple brands doing different type of bowls in one store. My suggestion: keep it simple and put it all under one brand.“
“Stopped by for lunch during a trip to Chicago. Highly recommend the Southwest Wrap, it's delicious and so filling I saved half for later. Ordered a seasonal smoothie, but it was bland and tasted artificial, not sure if this was the protein powder? Service was good, front end was helpful and pleasant. Pick up area was good as well.“
“Good salads and smoothies, and now they have avocado toast. Tons of variety, order one of their salad concoctions or create your own. It is in my office building so it's convenient, the employees have been friendly (I usually go at less busy times). And they have an app you can use to pay and then get a credit when you spend a certain amount. This is a nice option to have for lunch or dinner.“
“My son and I stopped by here Saturday! After eating here my son mentioned going vegan! We had Philly sliders, birria tacos, hibachi stir fry w/2 egg rolls, lemon pepper & spicy wings ( using lion manes mushrooms)Vegan lemon doughnuts & the best hibiscus tea with edible flowers!!!“
