“I placed an order to go. Was informed that there was a $3.00 to go charge and a gratuity would be added on the order cause it was over $100.00. After I checked the receipt, $18.35 was the gratuity. I thought it would be maybe $5.00. Very disappointed. Had I known this, I would have come into the restaurant and ate there had them provide me with service. I am a senior and that was definetly not right. I've already instructed my family not to get me gift card from Maple and Jam.“

“Incredible meal, incredible value. This is great, even compared to the high standards of other Olive Gardens. We had Adrian as our server and i couldn’t recommend him highly enough, he should be running the place!

One small but important piece of feedback: the bathrooms don’t have paper towels and have pull doors, so for those hygiene conscious of us, there’s no method to avoid touching the door handle. I would suggest either paper towels, a push door or one of those foot things to pull the door.“

“We got the chicken dinners and the chicken Alfredo. Everything was delicious and I am going back again. Even tho they gave us the wrong order when we picked up our food, they let us keep the other food. We were only blocks away and people make mistakes. The OX tail was delish and the mac n cheese was addicting. Highly recommend for something new. If your sick of the same old thing you gotta check this place out!!“

“Happened to see this place nearby when I was in town for a couple days and I’m so glad I went! I don’t even usually like French toast but their French toast was amazing. Service is great, atmosphere is nice, but the food is some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had (and I have tried many vegan places in most east coast cities). “My Fiancé and I discovered this restaurant after watching “Somebody Feed Fill” and were inspired and intrigued by Sarah’s restaurant and craftsmanship. We had our eye on getting reservations here for a very long time and we ended up landing lunch reservations for my Fiancés birthday (whom is also a Chef). We just happened to be seated by the expo line near the kitchen where we saw Sarah working. From start to finish our server Rose, and Sarah made sure our experience was personalized special. Sarah even signed the cookbook we bought and menu! Everything was on point from the food to the service. I can see why it’s so hard to get a reservation here! “We came in for our 8:30 reservation and were seated right behind a large structure, which completely blocked our view of the show ( baila habibi). It was frustrating because there were clearly other open tables, but we were told those were reserved for a private party. Throughout the night, we never actually saw any private party happening, so that explanation didn't really hold up. The atmosphere itself was fun, with good music and a lively vibe, but the show was just okay—and honestly hard to enjoy when we had to stand up and walk away from our table just to see anything. Service was where things really fell apart. It took about 45 minutes before we even got menus or water. Our waiter seemed to be covering a huge section alone, but he walked by us multiple times without acknowledging us until we flagged him down. Drinks were inconsistent each time, and overall he felt very inexperienced. That could be forgivable, but the situation got worse—he actually left his shift before the night was over without handing our table off to anyone. We ended up waiting another hour just trying to find someone—anyone—to help us pay our tab. As for the food, the flavors were good, but kebabs came out a bit dry and didn't come with sauces unless we specifically asked for them. The appetizer platter was excellent and very authentic tasting. Overall, the place has potential because the vibe is there, but between the poor seating, disorganized service, and lack of basic attention to guests, the experience ended up being more frustrating than enjoyable.“

“Me & my mom wanted breakfast the morning after the AC/DC concert on May 24th 2025. So I googled food near our hotel and it brought up 2 places on our way back home. So we decided here so we drove to this area and parked. When we got inside at first I was like I don't know about this place for breakfast because of the vibe I was getting at first seemed more like a place for dinner. We got sat down to our table and even looking at the menu I was still getting the vibe they were more of Diner for lunch and dinner. I almost told my mom lets go and pay for the drinks and lets go because the options for breakfast were somewhat limited.
Well thank goodness I bit my tongue and just let ride because I was completely wrong. We ordered it was super busy gave us time to look around each of us. The old skool diner look was so amazing and cool. Having old school candy, soda and ice cream too is something you don't see too often especially in a big city like Chicago. It gave you that old style diner my grandparents and my mother went to in their younger years.
My ice tea was some of the best ice tea I have ever had from a restaurant. Then our food came out. Omg 😲 😱 our eggs were huge with nice big strips of bacon. And the sausage links were some of the biggest ive ever seen. Me and my mom got different sides she got pancakes and I got French toast. I have never seen French toast so big and thick as well and so much flavor the syrup just added to it. My mom's pancakes were as thick as sandwich. I got to taste some of them and they were so fluffy and delicious as well. Everything was absolutely perfect and i mean perfect some. Everything was cooked to superb perfection. I haven't had a breakfast soo good like this in my life. Again I am so happy I didn't say lets go and find another place I would of regretted it.

Oh let's talk about our waitress she was absolutely wonderful always checking on us making sure my tea was refilled and my mom had plenty of coffee too. Oh the bus boys were on point too always clearing the tables around us and taking a plate when we were done. The manager even came around to ask how everything was. Our hostess that sat us was so friendly too. This place was everything and more.
So if you're looking for an old skool diner that has out of this world food look no further than Eleven you won't regret it“

“I went for a friends graduation brunch, and it was definitely a hopping spot in the city, and I can see the appeal for the rooftop views alone, but I think it’s a bit overpriced for what you’re getting in my opinion. I had the biscuits and gravy ($25) which was fine but also strange in that it tasted more like a chowder than gravy. I also got the chocolate chip cookies which were and came in an order of 3 for $12. As I said, a bit overpriced for cookies, but actually felt worth it for their size and deliciousness. Of course, part of why you’re coming here is for the views and this place did not disappoint! Despite it being a very hot day outside, there was a good crowd out there especially because there’s a bar on the patio as well. And even though it was very busy throughout the entire time there, my party and I had fairly consistent service, although I did have my drink order forgotten, but the server ended up comping me for it, which made up for it.“
