“I placed an order to go. Was informed that there was a $3.00 to go charge and a gratuity would be added on the order cause it was over $100.00. After I checked the receipt, $18.35 was the gratuity. I thought it would be maybe $5.00. Very disappointed. Had I known this, I would have come into the restaurant and ate there had them provide me with service. I am a senior and that was definetly not right. I've already instructed my family not to get me gift card from Maple and Jam.“

After being seated 15 mins prior to everyone receiving their food and beverages before us we spoke to the manager MaryLynn and she resolved the issue expeditiously. She made sure that our experience was everything that it was supposed to be. I truly appreciate a manager that holds her staff accountable.“

“Happened to see this place nearby when I was in town for a couple days and I’m so glad I went! I don’t even usually like French toast but their French toast was amazing. Service is great, atmosphere is nice, but the food is some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had (and I have tried many vegan places in most east coast cities). “My Fiancé and I discovered this restaurant after watching “Somebody Feed Fill” and were inspired and intrigued by Sarah’s restaurant and craftsmanship. We had our eye on getting reservations here for a very long time and we ended up landing lunch reservations for my Fiancés birthday (whom is also a Chef). We just happened to be seated by the expo line near the kitchen where we saw Sarah working. From start to finish our server Rose, and Sarah made sure our experience was personalized special. Sarah even signed the cookbook we bought and menu! Everything was on point from the food to the service. I can see why it’s so hard to get a reservation here! If we could rate our experience higher we would. We greatly appreciate the hospitality and dedication that this restaurant displays!“

“We finally got to check this place out. Located next to Mon Ami Gabi, you enter through the magnificent lobby. Inside is decorated sparsely but with warmth. We sat near the window for brunch and it was not at all busy at Saturday 10am. It’s probably not the first pick for brunch since their menu is not heavily focused on egg dishes (but they featured baked goods trays which I promised myself to try when I bring a larger family here). They relocated to this new space last fall but I had not really noticed from outside in my walks. The menu is very Asian-fusion and food was high quality and creative. I preferred theirs to North Pond actually. Theirs have more flavor overall. We ordered Maine Lobster Dumplings, Warm Mushroom Salad (this was a hit. I’m going to try to recreate the roasted mushroom at home) and truffle croquettes, pork noodle served in Korean earthen pot and salmon tartine. The first two dishes are really memorable flavors. They were generous with Mimosa and J enjoyed Mezcal shots each with pickle brine and watermelon. Think dirty martini but with more zing! which I appreciated. We want to come back for their happy hour and try other dishes. So glad to find this gem today. Service was prompt and with smiles.“

“Me & my mom wanted breakfast the morning after the AC/DC concert on May 24th 2025. So I googled food near our hotel and it brought up 2 places on our way back home. So we decided here so we drove to this area and parked. When we got inside at first I was like I don't know about this place for breakfast because of the vibe I was getting at first seemed more like a place for dinner. We got sat down to our table and even looking at the menu I was still getting the vibe they were more of Diner for lunch and dinner. I almost told my mom lets go and pay for the drinks and lets go because the options for breakfast were somewhat limited.
Well thank goodness I bit my tongue and just let ride because I was completely wrong. We ordered it was super busy gave us time to look around each of us. The old skool diner look was so amazing and cool. Having old school candy, soda and ice cream too is something you don't see too often especially in a big city like Chicago. It gave you that old style diner my grandparents and my mother went to in their younger years.
My ice tea was some of the best ice tea I have ever had from a restaurant. Then our food came out. Omg 😲 😱 our eggs were huge with nice big strips of bacon. And the sausage links were some of the biggest ive ever seen. Me and my mom got different sides she got pancakes and I got French toast. I have never seen French toast so big and thick as well and so much flavor the syrup just added to it. My mom's pancakes were as thick as sandwich. I got to taste some of them and they were so fluffy and delicious as well. Everything was absolutely perfect and i mean perfect some. Everything was cooked to superb perfection. I haven't had a breakfast soo good like this in my life. Again I am so happy I didn't say lets go and find another place I would of regretted it.

Oh let's talk about our waitress she was absolutely wonderful always checking on us making sure my tea was refilled and my mom had plenty of coffee too. Oh the bus boys were on point too always clearing the tables around us and taking a plate when we were done. The manager even came around to ask how everything was. Our hostess that sat us was so friendly too. This place was everything and more.

“Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe has got to hands down be the best food I have had in my 32 years of life. We just got home from a girls trip for my daughter's golden birthday in Chicago this past weekend and I'm ready to hit the road to go back. She ordered the kids Oreo s'mores pancakes of the kid menu. I got the 2 eggs meal which came with 2 eggs, hash browns, choice of meat (got sausage links) and either toast or pancakes. I chose toast. We then ordered her 2 dippy eggs, a side of biscuits and gravy, and got a side of bacon to share. The biscuits and gravy are hands down top tier the best recipe I have ever tasted (I ended up ordering 2 more sides to take home so I would have breakfast tomorrow 🤤). Even after stuffing ourselves with this delicious food none of our group felt miserable in any way. there was no belly discomfort whatsoever. We just felt full and nourished. I will be coming back as often as I can. The food is so hot, so fresh, so flavorful, and overall it was a wonderful experience. Everybody was so friendly , smiley, and just warm personalities. There is quite a wait on Sundays (not sure about other days) but I would wait 4 hours if they told me I had to. They do have an option where you can get on the waiting list online (we did not know that since this was out first time). Now let's talk about their preserves they make in house 🫠🫠 they make a triple berry compote with blackberries, strawberries, and raspberries. It was literal heaven. They sell jars as you are leaving for $11. Guys you have to try this place. I'm not usually someone who leaves reviews but it's so good I can't not leave one. “I went for a friends graduation brunch, and it was definitely a hopping spot in the city, and I can see the appeal for the rooftop views alone, but I think it’s a bit overpriced for what you’re getting in my opinion. I had the biscuits and gravy ($25) which was fine but also strange in that it tasted more like a chowder than gravy. I also got the chocolate chip cookies which were and came in an order of 3 for $12. As I said, a bit overpriced for cookies, but actually felt worth it for their size and deliciousness. Of course, part of why you’re coming here is for the views and this place did not disappoint! Despite it being a very hot day outside, there was a good crowd out there especially because there’s a bar on the patio as well. And even though it was very busy throughout the entire time there, my party and I had fairly consistent service, although I did have my drink order forgotten, but the server ended up comping me for it, which made up for it.“
