Me and a friend stopped here before a concert at the Radius, and this will be the official pregame for anytime I have a concert there. Great food, excellent drink selections, friendly staff...highly recommend!
Family-friendly place and great for going with friends. The pies are amazing, and the mac and cheese is very good too. Pleasant atmosphere.
Amazing place great pies, mash potatoes were perfect as was the gravy. The cask conditioned ale was the icing on the cake.
We had fried chicken for the kid. She loved it.
I had steak and ale with mashed potatoes, peas and gravy. My wife had chicken balti pie and a scotched egg. Fair prices and great quality.

They cater to various dietary restrictions, with options such as vegan, dairy-free, egg-free, and gluten-free dishes available. The full English breakfast and any of their “Royal Pies” are highly recommended and are great to “take and bake” later. The pies are a must-try, and are even better "crowned." The chips (fries) are noted to be even better, making it arguably the best English food in the city. The vibe is laid back and relaxed, ensuring guests never feel rushed or unwelcome.
