“My sister Shelly Nagy purchased tickets to a Sunday afternoon drag brunch to celebrate my birthday! Marco not only held the door open for his guests, but he was also very kind and generous! He offered 2nd helpings (my only regret is that I did not indulge on that offer). Our meal was plentiful, delicious and presented beautifully! The bartenders cocktails (garnished w/ fresh flowers!) are pure elegance and his customer service skills are excellent! The drag show was a blast! The music was a hit (inside and out) and the upscale atmosphere will always have me anxiously waiting to come back soon! Thank you Marcos & Shelly for the most wonderful birthday celebration anyone will ever dream of! Gorgeous Downtown LaGrange is lucky to have Marco’s Kitchen! Take me back already!”

“We recently got married at The Elm this past weekend (10/13/2024) and can't express in words how satisfied we were with their service. Starting from the first day that we went to see The Elm we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had our ceremony in the Kensington room, and our reception in the Madison room. The atmosphere and vibe of both rooms was everything that we could hope for. The staff was incredible, the food/drinks were AMAZING, and our guests had nothing but positive feedback. WE HIGHLY RECOMMED THIS PLACE FOR A WEDDING AND/OR ANY OTHER EVENT.”

“Chose to come here because it’s a halfway point between my friend’s and I’s homes, and it was such a pleasant experience! The atmosphere was very nice and calm, the smells were divine, and the service was excellent! We got to chat with the owner for a second and she was absolutely darling! I had a strawberry matcha latte with brown sugar boba and I know in a week I’ll be craving it again. 10/10 will be coming back again!”

“They have super good Japanese sea urchin that I’ve never had before, they even offer a unique way to serve it. Which I have tried the uni shooter with quail egg and it’s soo good! Their toro sushi is super worth it compared to the ones in the city and super high quality. Definitely recommend it!”

“Kama Bistro is the best Indian restaurant, hands down! I can't believe they are so low on your list (even after Blueberry Cafe, no offense Blueberry!). Whenever we've eaten at Kama, we are always so happy that we did. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Highly, highly recommend.”

“I do think these are the best donuts in Chicago area, or that I've ever had, specifically the glaze and the chocolate. I'm from Texas and have high standards for simple yeast donuts. The Chicago area is really lacking in independent donut shops, so when I found these, I was so happy. I found the original D&Ds location a couple of years ago, but was happy when this location opened as it's closer to me. There is a very professional and kind young man that we've seen work the register at the shop a couple of times, and the owner always offers up samples to newbies, so the service here is great. The food and service are truly 5 stars.
The only downfall of this place is, as other reviews have mentioned, there have been multiple times I've tried to come during business hours, and they are unexpectedly closed for the day. And I'm left heartbroken. To avoid this, I would definitely call before heading there. I won't stop going because I truly believe in their product, but I definitely won't head there unless I've confirmed they're open.”

The cakes were delicious with amazing decoration and detail. Party goers were super impressed and the cost really wasn’t that much more than a basic cake from grocery stores.”

“Okay, you HAVE to try Seattle Sutton’s meals! I’ve been getting them for almost a year, and they’re seriously the best meal delivery company. I actually talked to one of their dietitians before I signed up and they were super helpful and answered all of my questions. There are so many meals I never would’ve thought of making myself, but they’re all so good. The convenience is unreal. You just heat it up. I don't have to cook anything and I hate doing dishes, so that's a huge bonus. Plus, everything is always fresh, like I just bought it at the store. If you want easy healthy meals without worrying about fake or unhealthy ingredients this is 100% the way to go.”

“When my husband and I walked in it was not welcoming at all. It felt like if the whole restaurant turned to look at 2 aliens that they never seen before (we are latino). Then the young hostess girl asked me how she can help me, like if I was lost, I told her table for 2, she then told me that they were short staffed and it was going to take a long time to get served and if I still wanted to stay. I really felt like leaving but we stayed. I'm so glad we stayed because the waitress was really kind to us and the beers and food were delicious!”

“Wingstop has some really great flavors, and the wings themselves are usually pretty tasty. I like the variety of sauces, especially Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper. However, the wait time can sometimes be a bit long, and occasionally the wings aren’t as crispy as I’d like. Overall it's still a decent spot for wings, but consistency could be better.”

“I've been going to Red Mango every week for over a year and they have the best acai bowls. Staff are friendly and the place is clean. Their menu is extensive and I have never had a problem. All the customers I encounter seem to be satisfied.”

Without even knowing anything about this restaurant in advance, and in town from Pittsburgh for a youth hockey tournament, we happened to drive by and decided to stop and eat there. Walking in the atmosphere was fantastic and the service was spectacular. We sat at the bar, had a few cocktails, unbelievable appetizers, terrific meals for dinner followed by the most amazing desserts ever. While we were there, we had an opportunity to meet and chat with the owner for a little while. Always a pleasure to talk to someone that is passionate about what they do and appreciates both their employees and customers. It was a fantastic dining experience and I highly recommend this place. “Grabbed this to go on a whim and really enjoyed what I had. Ordered medium and it was a good spice level, but if you are sensative to spice, I would opt for the mild as it was hotter than I expected. Their portions are great for the price too. Was worried when I saw waffel fries because you usually only get a handful, but their bag was loaded. Will be coming back for sure.”

“Bbq + tacos, yes please. BBQ Chicken Taco with pico de gallo, cilantro, Pulled Pork Taco caribbean salsa, pico de gallo & spicy lime aioli and Brisket Burnt Ends Taco with chimichurri, slaw and cilantro. At $3.50 to $4.00 a taco, they were small. But they were tasty. #spicemeister approved.”

“Have used the store many times in the past for birthday cakes and I needed it nut free for my niece. They’ve always come through for me. This last time I ordered cake pops and I needed them to look like eyeballs and they did a great job”

“A friend and I went on St. Patrick's Day for lunch. Busy place but delicious food! Our waitress could have been more attentive. We order an appetizer and she forgot to put it in. We were waiting then our sandwiches came and we asked. We still wanted them. The portions are huge and it is pricey but so very good! We eat also had a drink.”
