Had potato skins and the Vermont burger with fries. Everything was delicious. Fries weren't as crispy as I'd like but they were addictive and well seasoned. A respectable amount of bacon on the potato skins. Maple basted burger is an interesting change from a normal burger. Service was good enough until it was time to get the check and then it seemed like they didn't even want our money because there was a long wait to pay.
Solid sandwiches and draft list. In summer, the outdoor patio is good and, in winter, the fireplace room is cozy. Service is usually slow is only complaint.Parking: Street parking and free parking garage across the street.

Palmer's is the definition of a local, no frills, comfort restaurant/pub. The food is satisfying but is certainly not going to win any awards. Same with the beer list--very standard.
