“Slager's is the best! We hosted our engagement party in the party room and had an absolute blast! The space was perfect for our group, the vibes were great, and everyone had such a fun time!
Jimmy & the staff were friendly and accommodating, prices were very reasonable, and the overall atmosphere made it such an easy and stress-free place to celebrate. Karaoke later in the night was an added bonus and made the night even more fun!

“Rose and Jake were phenomenal!! It was a tuesday and they were busy as expected but the service was amazing! Rose was busting her butt taking all the tables and making PHENOMENAL drinks, while Jake checked on us if Rose couldn’t and helped run drinks to us. We didn’t have to wait for anything despite the business, overall an amazing experience and both of them deserve a raise! Both were so friendly and personable that my friend and I have already scheduled the next time for us to come visit and have a few drinks!“

“I've visited Osito's Tap a handful of time, but now I definitely need to be a regular. I was here last night for their Preservation bourbon tasting. It was an enjoyable evening learning and tasting some great bourbon, plus a nice dinner menu created by Osito's Tap very own Executive Chef. I've missed out on similar tastings here before, so I was happy to make this one.
As for the bar itself, it's a speakeasy with a giant Mezcal menu. If you're looking for great cocktails, an easy going spot, and good company. Then this is a place to be at. Definitely a GEM in the Little Village neighborhood.“

“This is one of my favorite bars in the city. I love that it's nearby my neighborhood, it's a lovely addition to the area. The food is delicious, I recommend the dill pickle pasta salad and the burger. The cocktail menu changes seasonally I think, so there's always something new to try. Cocktails are always nicely balanced and tasty. The staff is so friendly and I love the atmosphere. Busy on the weekends but weeknights are a bit quieter. Visit immediately.“

“I just walked out of the door and am so glad that God sent us there. We tried 3 places prior to walking in CheSa’s doors which was a definite blessing. We had the catfish skillet, bourbon peach cobbler franchise toast, chicken sausage and scrabbles eggs w/cheese washed down with a breakfast martini. Absolutely delicious and with the owner/chef being very warm w/great hospitality. We’re definitely going back.“

“We had a memorial lunch at the Jolly Inn this past Friday and it was beyond amazing. Couldn't have asked for more. Maria the server was absolutely delightful and so professional. She made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone in the group raved about how great she was. Thank You so much Maria. The food was fabulous. No one went away hungry for sure. So much variety and everything was fresh, hot and very flavorful. The little room we were in was just perfect for our size group and the ambiance was wonderful. We felt like we were special and it made a day of mourning for us a little easier. Thank You so much for all you did to make the luncheon something that people didn't want to leave.“

“A pleasant neighborhood brewery, bar, and restaurant. We generally order burgers or fish and chips, and enjoy a local beer with our meal. We ordered soft pretzels for our ap, which came with two amazingly good dpping sauces - yum!

“I went to eat at mucho gusto yesterday with my girl friends after a very much anticipated visit and it did not disappoint! They were not as busy as usual which was something I was not expecting given their lively atmosphere and the World Cup going on. Regardless, I had the best time with my friends and the food was good. I had the enchiladas de mole, so tasty. I would return just for that dish. I also had the passion fruit and mangoneada margarita, they’re half off on Mondays! I also forgot to mention they have parking in the back of the restaurant. Our experience was great overall because of our server Nayeli. She was so kind and cracked jokes with us, definitely made our first experience with mucho gusto yesterday a 10/10. Thank you to Nayeli, the bartender, and cooks. Bless you all ♡.“

“Bar and liquor store combo with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of whiskey and beer.
We had our rehearsal dinner there, and it was exactly what we wanted. Very much our style. Saved us a bunch of money doing it there vs our other options. And the nice thing was that we were able to cater whatever food we wanted there.
We also got the spirits for our wedding through them. They had the best prices from everything we vetted, and we were able to return all the unopened bottles that were leftover after the event.

“Wednesday visit first time ever, zero tension by employees (especially the security no metal detector search). $20 entry and also $20 for topless dance per song (cameras on the ceiling don't do ❄) security guy payed $20 outta pocket for the boxing arcade machine for the entertainment of guests. Overall you can do ❄ just avoid topless areas of the dancers in private room. No cops no drama 10 outta 10 for $$$ what you pay 🙌“

“Very nice clean bar, love the warm welcoming feel and drink options. They have open mic every third Friday of the month. We really enjoy this neighborhood bar. Great bar service. Great staff, Daren and Neda are fantastic! They also have pizza from Waterworks! They have gaming machines, I like to play a few and have been lucky!
