I have been here a couple of times and it has been great every time. I see a lot of people who look like regulars and always very nice. I like the menu. It has one of my favorite ciders!
Henry and his staff are amazing. The new outdoor seating is awesome. I love how the bar exceeds all the safety and sanitation protocols. I am grateful that we can order food from nearby restaurants delivered in a safe manner to the double. It’s truly a neighborhood bar !!!

I did not have a neighborhood bar before The Double, and I have not had one since. Henry is the man--lots of fun and good at making sure newbies and regular customers are taken care of. One of my all-time favorite memories at The Double was watching the Blackhawks win the Cup in 2013. More typically, my brother, friends and I would drink good beer and enjoy the atmosphere and head-nodding music.
