“Although I hear they have good smashburgers had a taste for wings. It's rare to find places that will give you the whole wing. Only downside, I wish they were a little bigger and on the online menu it pictured it came with coleslaw. It did come with fries that were nice and crispy. Overall, the meal was good and hot by the time I made it back home.“

“The burger was excellent — very filling, with a thick patty, almost like a mini steak. The fries were ordinary, nothing special, and the wings were good but standard. A nice bonus was the cookie they added to the meal for free. Overall, really tasty and worth trying!“

“I’ve been coming to this place since it was Billy’s, still continue coming and I frequent more now actually, the place has been remodeled, clean, the owner is extremely friendly as well as the whole entire staff. You get a friendly welcome everytime you come in, now let’s get to the food! Always a 10/10 food is ALWAYS fresh, hot and full of flavor, a gyro under 15 bucks with a salad? You can’t beat that in this economy, a great variety of food from American to Greek.“

While the food was delicious and the overall ambiance and decor of the restaurant was cozy, it was our server that made this dining experience over the top, great! HECTOR, you are a gem, a diamond! You have an absolutely charming personality and made my mother in law’s birthday dinner an experience to remember! From your spot on suggestions, to your lovely rendition of “Happy Birthday”, to the funny banter, our whole family left talking about how wonderful you were! So they have to be good.... I did substitute the salad for the fries and was blown away how tasty it was... I mean I'm talking salad right!! “Astonishing that it's still around. I was 10 when it opened in 1948 and to get a double decker at HH was close to heaven. Across the street was Prince Castle, long gone, where you could get a slider for much less money. HH was a splurge and it's wonderful to see it live today.“

“Really nice place for real good food. My family and I stopped in after a trip into town for an escape room. We had the foghorn chicken sandwich, burger, mashed pot and gravy, tenders, nuggets, and fries. The burger and mashed we're recommended by staff and were terrific.
Everything was delicious, hot, and fresh. Recommend if you're looking for awesome food at a great price too.“

“I've been a regular at the Country House for years now, and I have to say, their burgers are my absolute favorite! They're simply delicious. And you can't go wrong with their onion rings either. I also really enjoy having the roasted veggies as a side dish instead of fries, especially when the weather is nice. And of course, the cheese curd appetizer is always a great option.“

They are health conscious with their offerings; I’m a diabetic so I eat a lot of salads,and chilli. You can see that if you’re not satisfied with your order or service they will fix it and pronto . “I come to the oak Lawn establishment quite often, but haven't been there in a while due to work commitments . I was in last week and as usual, I ordered with Bill at the cash register. He jokes with me as he knows what I like, but more importantly, he was genuinely concerned that I was ok because he hadn't seen me in some time. I always get 2 shack burgers, and a drink. He calls me tht best dressed man in the place as I still get dressed in a suit everyday to go into the office. Great sense of humor.“

“such sweet owners! they helped me celebrate my 20th birthday last year with the sign and some catered food, and this year (i have covid☹️) they gave drinks on the house for my family who went to celebrate in honor of me! i can't wait to come visit once i'm out of quarantine!!“
