“Came here on a Sunday evening and the food plus the service was amazing. A+. The owner recommended i try the Dubai style paratha smash and it did not disappoint. “Their chicken Philly needs a lot of work. They overwhelmed it with onions and cheese but not enough meat. Ratio needs correction. Also the fries were undercooked and extremely soggy. Their menu is on the pricier side. As for their service and atmosphere, it was overall solid. I will be back here.“

The service is warm, efficient, and always welcoming. The chicken skewers are outstanding. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked just right every time. They are flavorful without being heavy, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. The Greek salad is equally impressive. Crisp vegetables, generous feta, balanced dressing, and always fresh. It is simple, but done exceptionally well. When a restaurant can deliver this level of quality consistently multiple times a week, that says everything. We highly recommend it.“

“This used to be our absolute favorite spot. My friends and I would come here several times a week, and we loved the familiar faces on the staff. Sadly, things have drastically changed for the worse. ​We noticed the staff began turning over constantly, and after speaking with some of the remaining employees, we found out why: the owner is reportedly keeping 40% of the servers' tips. Under Illinois law, tips belong entirely to the staff, and an owner taking a cut is entirely illegal. ​It breaks our heart to walk away from a place we loved, but our group has decided to take our business to other local spots that actually respect and support their employees. We won't be back until management corrects this and treats their staff fairly.“

“The food is simple and kid friendly (as it should be) and the train theme is super cute. I think our trip would have been better if we had ridden Metra there as it's right by the station. So something to consider for your trip as it was quite a drive for us.

I do feel for the poor server who was constantly re-aligning the train due to derailments. And she didn't have a cutoff switch - it's in the kitchen so she has to yell back. I think the rail setup could be improved for the employee's quality of life.“

I am giving my order over the phone and he rushes me because he has someone coming in his restaurant. Next , I ask him couple of questions which he shows so much attitude. Third , I hate dining in this place . The guy keeps checking to see if we didn’t make the tables or floor messy. No kind of professionalism. We do not eat free . “Astonishing that it's still around. I was 10 when it opened in 1948 and to get a double decker at HH was close to heaven. Across the street was Prince Castle, long gone, where you could get a slider for much less money. HH was a splurge and it's wonderful to see it live today.“

A burger joint in a strip mall doesn’t inspire confidence, but you walk into this cozy place, with attractive wall murals, and somehow you get the feeling that you’re in the right place. We were in a rush, so came here for a quick lunch - ordered the following: double cheeseburgers, peri peri burgers, veggie samosa burger (off menu) and mango habañero wings….and EVERYTHING was fantastic!!! The double cheeseburgers were juicy, and succulent, the peri peri grilled chicken burger was tender and saucy, the wings were absolutely delicious, crisp despite the mango habañeeo sauce which had the perfect level of sweet heat. Lastly, the veggie burger - so the menu has FANTASTIC samosas, so when we asked if they had a veggie burger, they told us they can prepare a delicious burger using their veggie samosa. Imagine our skepticism, and then our utter shock, when it turned out to be the most delicious spicy, saucy samosa burger we have ever sunk our teeth in! Overall, an excellent experience, but with all the personnel exuding immense warmth and gracious hospitality. Definitely coming here OVER and OVER again!!! Yum!“
