Centro - Burgers & Shakes is a simple, hole in the wall restaurant. The burgers are top tier, probably one of the best smash burgers in the suburbs. The double cheeseburger features two juicy smash burgers with halal patties, special sauce, grilled onions, tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce. The fries are crunchy and well seasoned, not too salty, and come in a huge amount. The fresh pressed lime drinks, like the blueberry and mango, are delicious. A chicken sandwich and nuggets with great sauces are also really good. The inside of this place needs a lot of work, and the parking lot is a mess and tiny, but a space can always be found. This is not a place of service; customers walk in, order on tablets, and eat. The customer service is great, and the guys behind the counter are great. The cooks can be watched through an open window. The burger is very well put together, and the flavor is there. It is a really solid burger and easily the best in Lombard. Definitely recommended if craving a good burger.
