“I live in the area but never had the chance to try Jay’s food. This is my second time going to Jay’s Wok and I must recognize that their food is tasty, not too salty, rice consistency great not smoosh or overcooked, vegetables are not overcooked as other places. Portion is perfect and price affordable. Is hard to find a good Chinese restaurant that I can order when in the appetite is for Chinese food. I am glad Jay’s Wok is nearby and I am proud to support local businesses of hard working individuals as this couple.“

“It was crazy on Valentines Day..we were late picking up the meal, so my fault. They were on point and efficient, quick to wrap up the food and the sides. Atmosphere was crazy loud and busy, not my idea of a good time, but the staff were handling it well.“

“The food here is FANTASTIC. We ordered the stuffed banana peppers, coconut shrimp, salmon that’s on corn tamale cake (oh my goodness), seafood linguine, and lobster mac n cheese. We were both really impressed with how delicious all of the food was. Our waiter Jorge was so kind and attentive. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended.“

“So today I had a friend in from out of town and we topped off our afternoon with a visit to Miski Bakery. I was dying to try the alfajores, and they did not disappoint! The very delicate morsels melted in our mouth, and the creamy luscious dollop of dulce de leche caramel was a perfect pairing. In addition we tried the Milhojas/Napoleons in two flavors the Lucuma pastry creme and also the dulce de leche. A thousand layers is correct, these were amazingly tall, crispy and filled with air, both were delicious but the Lucuma(a Peruvian fruit) pastry creme was the standout. It had such a delightful delicate flavor I had never tasted previously. After speaking with Carmen the owner I asked whether or not they ever carried Turrón de doñja Pepa. She just happened to have some freshly baked sitting on the tray behind the counter, but alas it was still awaiting its filling. This gives me a great reason to return and indulge in that special treat. It is prepared every other week. The service was warm and friendly. This is definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood you shouldn't miss out on. I will be returning often.“

“Eli's Cheesecake is hands down one of the best places for cheesecake. I've been here a couple of times, and it never disappoints. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and they have a huge selection of cheesecakes to choose from. I usually go for the sampler so I can try a few different flavors, and the tiramisu is another one of my favorites. Everything is fresh, rich, and delicious. Love this place and will definitely keep coming back!“

“Ok ordered there twice in the past week again. Tried something new this time, romaine, chicken, broccoli, eggs and cheese and just as good as the bowl i get with purple rice, chicken and broccoli. The service and friendliness of the staff were top tier and every dish we had was out of this world. What a gem of a place. The flavors of the pad thai were unmatched, and don’t even get me started on the custard taiyaki with ice cream. This chef’s talent is unmatched. “Bar and liquor store combo with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of whiskey and beer.

We had our rehearsal dinner there, and it was exactly what we wanted. Very much our style. Saved us a bunch of money doing it there vs our other options. And the nice thing was that we were able to cater whatever food we wanted there.

We also got the spirits for our wedding through them. They had the best prices from everything we vetted, and we were able to return all the unopened bottles that were leftover after the event.

They are accommodating with large groups, service is great, and best part is the ability to order a wonderful, filling gluten free breakfast! “Their thin crust meat lovers pizza is good. the crust has a slight crunch and is a bit doughy for thin crust.
Their classic cheese slice is great as well. The flavors all blend really well and is a well rounded classic cheese slice.
Their cheese fries are exactly what you would expect. It looks and tastes like they hand cut real potatoes and double fry them. The fires are soft and mushy, no crunch. The sauce is the same cheese sauce you would expect at any pizza place.

“This is the best place to eat in Chicago O’Hare T5. Their bowls and wraps are all healthy, full of protein and good ingredients, and taste delicious. Pricing is also a plus as the average price is around $13 or less which is less than a quarter pounder meal at Mc Donald’s. The staff are all knowledgeable and friendly and the whole interaction was a pleasure.“
