“This bar has a special place in my heart. This bar was my grandfather’s spot. I believe he owned the building when he was alive. I remember being there as a small child and playing games there. I visited once over ten years ago. I would love to come back when I’m in town again.”

The ambiance was so relaxing and peaceful; it was a nice respite from a busy day and I didn’t want to leave. “So this place was absolutely a great experience for us! I used to come here when I was younger. Now I'm able to bring my child here simply because they have non-dairy and peanut free options. When I initially called the woman that answered was so patient and even mentioned that when I arrived, I could ask the worker to please wash the serving spoon. So when we got there we were immediately greeted, and we explained that our child had allergies, they showed us the options and gave us samples to try we asked that the spoon be washed and without hesitation they did so. Good ice cream, great atmosphere and options for everyone. We will continue to come here. My 4 year old loved the lightning clouds on your ceiling. 🙂”

It can be pricey to some, but worth it and they do different deals on different nights so it’s worth checking them out. If this venue was in the #Pilsen area, you would def need a month or two reservations. The chef is #Michelin rated – say no more. Highly recommended.
