“I came here around 3 it was a bit busy and I seen the cashier was a bit overwhelmed because she was the only one taking orders at the time. Once she served me my order she had the best demeanor she made sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely be back for the food and the customer service. nice atmosphere. The wings - honey barbecue - were perfectly delicious, piping hot and fresh. The sweet potato fries were not good. I love me some good sweet potato fries, but these weren't it. I probably could have eaten them with a sauce, but nobody really touched them. It was a HUGE portion though! The wings and blue cheese sauce were great. I ordered utensils and napkins and received none. C'mon, these are WINGS! People need napkins.”

One thing about my abuela is that she was a picky eater when it came to Mexican food because she was the cook of the family. I recently stopped by and was able to order 5 lbs of carnitas and 20 tortillas to share with my coworkers for lunch and was in and out in no time. The place is small but the service is quick. “I visited Home Run Inn Pizza - Melrose Park after being in the area for a haircut, and hungry at the time. I have had Home Run Inn Pizza on my radar for a while now just waiting for the opportunity to visit because I love the in-store brand. I ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza w/ an order of fries, which came as a slice combination where you choose 2 slices w/ one of sides ranging from fries, salad, mozzarella sticks, or chicken dippers for $10.50. Moreover, I waited for my order in an acceptable time frame in the drive-thru which was completely empty at the time of my visit. Now as for the food, the pizza appeared just like the boxed edition you see in the grocery store; the only difference is that it is sold inside of the actual Home Run Inn Pizza restaurant. Like the in-store boxed edition, I really enjoyed both slices of cheese pizza, as well as the french fries! Those fries, yes, they were very delicious! And I have to say that they smelled wonderful while on my drive along North Ave. As for returning, you bet I will! Price was more than affordable for the size of the cake. The cake itself was very filling, perfectly well balanced not too sweet and you were definitely satisfied after each bite. The whole family loved it and will definitely come back here for more custom cakes.”

Not a fan, but it is a creamier sauce and a decent price at $11+/- for a burrito, taco, chips with queso, and a drink. The new "Avocado Verde salsa" sauce packet flavor had more of a cilantro taste than green chilies. But, some of the tried and true items are still around, and you can't beat the Mexican pizza in my book. Also new to me was the "Diablo" sauce, which is actually a HOT sauce.The place was reasonably clean and seats are comfortable. I appreciate this Bell has a padded bench for those waiting for take-out. However, my order was up before I had time to sit down.”

I few familiar dishes are missing, but everything I ate was tasty even if portions might be a bit smaller than I remember. These particular P.E. has come a long way since I last ate there, a year ago.”

We've tried a variety of their baked goods and tres leche cakes - everything is always delicious. They have a build-your-own torta option as well for lunch. I don't speak Spanish very well and all the staff speaks minimal English however their positive attitude and kindness is always still apparent in all of our interactions!
