“Best Al pastor and quesadilla in recent memory. Burrito had generous quantity of meat. I had ordered the Quesadilla with steak added. It was served open-faced, with a layer of cheese that was delightfully crispy on the outside and gooey underneath (like you normally only get on the edges) and the steak was on top of the cheese with cilantro, onion, and avo. Friendly staff shared meat treats with our pup. Two tables, shade, and front row seats to the meat roasting on a spit over hot coals. Will crave this until we visit again!!“

“I’ve been driving past Taco Boom Truck for what feels like forever, always catching a whiff of grilled meat or seeing a small line of people and thinking, “One day I’ll stop.” Well, I finally did, and man, I should’ve done it way sooner.
It’s a simple setup, parked off the road, colorful, and always smelling amazing. People were hanging out, eating, and the service was quick and friendly. The guy at the window even gave me some salsa tips when I told him it was my first time.
I went with two carne asada tacos. No exaggeration, the meat was so tender and juicy, with this really nice char on the edges. You could taste the seasoning in every bite, nothing overpowering, just that good mix of garlic, citrus, and smoky flavor. The tortillas were warm, soft but sturdy enough to hold everything together (no taco explosions, which is always a win).
The green salsa? Wild. It started off kind of mild, then hit with this spicy, peppery kick that crept up in the best way. It had some creamy avocado vibes too, which made it super addictive. Honestly, I kept dipping even after I ran out of taco.
If you’re in the mood for solid tacos that hit all the right notes, Taco Boom is 100% worth the stop. I already know I’ll be back.“

“This place is truly one of the best spots for Mexican food 🌮😋! I tried a steak burrito and some steak tacos, and the flavor of the steak was amazing 🤤. Portions were generous, and even though I got my order to go 🥡, the restaurant itself is small, cozy, and super clean ✨. I loved the cute decorations and the overall vibe 🪴🎨. Definitely a must-visit if you’re on the Southside 👍. I’ll absolutely be coming back soon!“

“I just got a greek chicken dinner and a beef sandwich from here. The greek chicken dinner (greek salad / chicken / greek potatoes) was outstanding, and so was the beef, but beef is a little easier. The guy who owns it is real cool guy too. Prices were reasonable; portions were good. I'll go back for sure.“

“The food at Fuego is absolutely amazing. I love their Tortilla soup. The homemade guacamole is good enough to be its own food group! Their staff are some of the friendliest I've ever encountered.
We were fortunate enough to go in on one of their Thursday night karaoke nights with All Mixed Up Entertainment. The sound was incredible and the singers were very talented. Even our waitresses, L and Pricila, got up to sing their hearts out. Lots of fun. We will definitely be back!“

“Burritos are huge. Don’t recommend the shrimp tacos or chorizo, really salty even when eaten with the rice. Our waitress Guadalupe was rude, doesn’t know how to smile, and kept rushing us. Took a star off because of her.
Really hated that the tip was mandatory with no option to adjust. Tipped almost $20 for absolute garbage service. Will Not return“

“Food was stellar! Had 3 tacos, chicken, steak, and marinated pork. The marinated pork is the way to go. Amazing. The tacos had too much onion/cilantro, but the green sauce was a perfect balance. Slightly pricey at $4/taco but worth it. Inside was nice, a bit dark, and more like long lunch tables than small 2-4 tops. Definitely going back again for the pork tacos. Great food!“
“Gone a hand full of times..never been disappointed yet..then again..I have ordered the same thing every time..chicken tacos and tacos al pastor..and they never miss..I still need to open more my options with what they offer..
Only downfall..they technically close at 5pm..but they have their reason why..so is understandable..“

“I got the lunch special which was a great deal two tacos and a House margarita for $13.67 including tax I got the Al pastor and the chorizo both were very good but the Al pastor was really excellent. My little dog was not allowed inside but they were happy to bring my order out to the patio which was shady and nice. I will definitely come back.“

“My family and I traveled to Chicago twice this year and dined at the Asian Cuisine Express both times. The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. Asian Cuisine express will be a regular stop now for us every time we go to Chicago... we highly recommend everyone tries this restaurant and we can't wait until we visit there again. Thanks to all the great people at Asian Cuisine Express!!!“

We are picky about our tacos but these were delicious! Tortilla doradita made the tacos even better. Wife’s torta was also delicious.

“Everything was great. From the food to the service and even the prices. My husband and I went for Valentines day. We got the V-Day which was a birria pizza n desert for $25. My husband had the ground beef enchilada dinner. We both had a passion fruit margarita. The birria pizza was cooked to perfection. The meat was seasoned, tender, and tasty. The consome was 10 out of 10. My husband said every in the enchiladas dinner was good. The owner and his wife are very friendly. The wife took the order and had a wonderful conversation with us. Food didn't take long to prepare. Great experience will be back soon.“

“Popped into Toby's this evening. My first bar on my first visit to the USA, and boy did I pick a good one. The service was excellent, Janet and Ashley were extremely welcoming. The vibe was relaxed and the regular clientele all seemed friendly too. Drinks were very reasonably priced. I hope to visit again very soon!“

“Stopped in by chance just passing bcus my daughter wanted to purchase a water and this was the first place we saw after she requested water. Decided to order tacos and they were absolutely delicious. We had the carne asada and it was so flavorful. We ordered as a take out order but the presentation was very neat and colorful with garnishes of red pepper, lime and radish. Nice staff also.“
