The owner of Tata’s drives an Audi SUV yet will not honor a coupon from Toast. If you refuse to honor coupons - yet greedily take my hard-earned money - then get off the Toast app! JERKS! Don’t eat here - eat at Garcia’s in Lincoln Square
This is the review of the six corner location. Can’t speak for other two but after this experience I will not be returning to any Tata’s location.
First waited 25 minutes for a takeout order of 6 tacos. Tacos are extremely small and overpriced. To add $5 taco wasn’t even cooked properly , meat was dry and chewy. Tortilla was breaking because it wasn’t warmed up enough. If the owner will read this review, please take action if you wish to save your business.

Tatas Tacos - Original Six Corners is a charming neighborhood spot known for its fresh, made-to-order food and authentic flavors. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious options, including tacos, rice bowls, and homemade soups, with hand-made tortillas adding to the quality. Regulars appreciate the rice and beans, as well as the veggies and cauliflower-based vegan tacos. The tacos are tender with crispy shells, and dishes like the beef birria tacos with consommé and chicken fajita rice bowl are highly praised for their flavor. The fish tacos are fresh, though sometimes slightly salty. The owner is friendly and attentive, welcoming suggestions from vegetarian and vegan diners, and the restaurant caters to events as well. The atmosphere is open and inviting, with chalkboard walls and a patio where children can play, making it a family-friendly place. Service can sometimes be slow, especially when the restaurant is less busy, and drinks may be on the weaker side. Overall, Tatas Tacos is a cozy spot that offers flavorful, authentic meals, making it a favorite for many who want to experience a true taste of Chicago.
