So delicious! The tata taco was literally the best fish taco I have had in a while! Had a bogo coupon and that taco was okay in unfair comparison. Would love to come back for the weekday specials

Very lowkey!! The food was lovely!! Everything hot and fresh! Spicy salsas!!! The drinks were smacking!!! Nice little date spot. We like to splurge but the bill was reflecting of the quality of their food and service!! We had elote, steak and chicken fajitas with rice beans and guacamole!!Parking: Parking is free on Sundays!! Put its street pay to park.

I had the nachos and they were good, however, I ordered steak tacos and the beef felt pretty bland unsalted and unseasoned, service was very nice but the musical selection was very odd, felt like crossfit gym techno which is an odd choice for a Mexican food joint and kinda ruined the atmosphere, wasn't bad overall but with so many great Mexican food joints in Chicago I would pay a bit more attention to the quality

When you hear jibarito you're looking for a sandwich on plantain. Their jibarrito is considered a taco! The birria tacos we're super salty. I didn't even get get offered extra napkins! Do not waste your money & time! Sorry not sorry.

Ordered for delivery. This place has gone downhill since covid no doubt. Charging $6 for one cup of rice and beans, $6 for elote, not a lick of seasoning on it. We spent $60 in total and though all the ingredients were fresh, it simply was not seasoned. It’s sad because this place used to be so good. I had the most bland shrimp taco, not even a speck of pepper on the shrimp. No salt on my asada at all. The only saving grace were the chicken tinga nachos. Those still slap.

Came here on a Friday afternoon to grab a small lunch. Julieta, my server, appeared to be the only person working beside the cook in the kitchen. Super slow day and she was incredibly nice and attentive. She allowed me to chose my seat and provided a menu and water. I chose the tacos as this was my first visit and the reviews are split if the price matches the quality and taste of the tacos. I chose to order a mole taco, tata taco which is fish and the triton which is their idea of surf and turf in a taco. The triton is listed as a top favorite of the customers. In all this is about $17 for three tacos. Let's hope it's worth it... The mole - different to offer sesame seeds on the tacos but I can get with it. The chicken should've been shredded and not cubed but it was still juicy and a lot of meat was provided. The rice and beans added didn't do much more than help with filling rather than flavor. The mole itself was alright but I've had better. The Tata - top taco to me and it's only $5 where as the other two are $6-7 apiece for speciality tacos. It was juicy and blackened and the slaw was a nice crisp cool touch. The triton - Surf and turf. That's what you get. Nice good piece of steak but one shrimp was insulting. The added random potatoes could've been subbed for another shrimp or two and added a little more chimmichuri sauce. This review gets three stars because there were also items off the menu missing and it was only 12:45 pm in the afternoon. (They open at 11:00). The empanadas, fried ice cream and flan were out for the day. They had none. That's insane to me. There are three locations. Two of which are less than a mile away from one another. The business owners should know they things ought to be stocked. I'd like to return to try the missing items as I had my eye on those.

I will give it 2 stars since service was good. However, a taco 6 dollars and it fell apart when I picked up. Flimsy tortilla. Barely any meat for $6. Never again. Also not even a basket of complimentary chips and salsa. Sorry they need to do better

When I walked in, the servers were very friendly. Live music was about to begin too and it was sounding great! The food, however, was lacking in flavor. The guacamole needed salt, and they should serve a bit more chips with it. I ordered a Burrito Sucia and didn't like it one bit. Not the sort of mole I'm accustomed to, it was really bland in flavor and a hint spicy. The burrito is small but the tortilla is really big and it was folded so much that I had mouthfuls of tortilla more than filling. I asked the server for two tacos de asada to eat after only taking two bites. Despite the server taking the Burrito Sucia plate away, she didn't take it off the bill and didn't ask about it, I was disappointed with that.

Really disappointed in the meal we had tonight. We ordered several orders of tacos and it was not worth $25/plate. (You can’t order a la carte). The fish taco tasted really fishy and the pickled cabbage on top seemed old and didn’t have much flavor. The steak taco (Jibarito I think) had a flat, crunchy piece of steak that was larger than the tortilla so I had to break it apart to make it fit. The Birria taco (the reason we came) was cold and tasted off. The consume that went with it was also cold and didn’t taste good….like watered down chili sauce. Everyone was nice and the service was good but I wish I’d sent my food back. My boyfriend had the shrimp taco and said he enjoyed that one.

Staff was nice but severely understaffed. Food was bland and way over priced. They use huge Mexican plates which only make the portions look even smaller than they are. We spent 45( plus tip) for 2 people ( no liquor) and I have to stop somewhere else because I am still hungry. Music is lond enough that you can't hear the person across the table.
