“Loved the music, decoration, and food. Got the asada tacos with avocado and cheese and loved it. As well as the horchata was lovely. I would come back and recommend others to try!Parking: At least 20 spotsKid-friendliness: Has a kid menu and lots of kid options for drinksWheelchair accessibility: The entrance has no stairs and has wheelchair accessible parking“
“They came out when the other Place cancelled on us on short notice saying it’s too cold , we called this place a day before our daughters event and they came through , everything was delicious and such a convenient, will definitely be calling you guys again for future events , thank you & happy new year !“
“I must say that the food was very delicious, the service from Daniel was excellent, the quesabirrias are delicious, and the micheladas are on point, I highly recommend this place and I hope to return soon, every time I come on a trip to Chicago this is my place favorite.“
“The Quesobirria was super delicious. The tortillas are literally handmade and fresh to order. I was impressed how attentive the staff was. Came with a couple of friends from out of town and I definitely think this place nailed a super delicious quesobirria. I will definitely come back. Found my new spot for birria!“
“I am an avid eater!!, yes and I have been comparing this place and it’s simply great. The place is clean, food is very good and authentic and most of the family works. Only concern is that the place is small and it gets crowded on weekends.“
“Nice little neighborhood place. The hours are odd so you have to check if they are open. I think they close mon-wed. I found this place looking for queso birria tacos. For $15 you get 4 decent sized tacos with the consommé. Great meaty tacos, I'm a big guy and I usually could knock out 8-10 tacos. I could only eat 6 here. The guacamole was big enough for me and my buddy. They have a juice bar inside and we ordered off of the server's recommendation. She recommended a pineapple drink and it was solid. We ended up getting a second order of drinks for the road. They don't have parking but you should be able to find something across the street. Place is clean and the cook wore gloves. I appreciate when a place is clean and people are wearing gloves. The waitress/server was very helpful and had great recommendations. She was easy to talk to since I don't speak Spanish. There was a bunch of online orders and takeout which in my opinion is good. That means there's no old food, they sell it all and buy fresh. Bathrooms were clean. I noticed the table next to me ordered a latte and seen they had an espresso machine. I haven't tried the coffee so I can't talk about the quality. Just that they have an espresso machine. I like this place a lot. Very friendly staff, great food and great amount of food for the price. Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you.“
“The Challah French toast is AMAZING! We loved everything we ordered. I’m only taking away 1 star because the coffee was pretty terrible. When your food is next level, please serve coffee that is up to your clearly incredibly high standards! Intelligentsia? Metropolis? We have so many great local choices! But, overall, fantastic experience! We’ll be back!“
“Tried their food at a fest last summer and loved it, so I wanted to make a visit here. The food didn't disappoint. Loved the tacos and ramen con birria (Levanton). I appreciated that you can wait comfortably in your car and they call you when your order is ready.“
“Food was okay, atmosphere is cool, and the service was great. The food wasn't as flavorful as the other Mexican restaurants I'm used to from around the area. I had the pollo tacos and shared a platter of the nachos. Both were just okay - nothing to rave about. The restaurant itself is clean. Reminded us of a diner! The staff were also super kind and helpful, which is awesome. This hasn't replaced my go-to Mexican restaurant in the area, but I'd still visit again to try something else on the menu!“
“Amazing place. I suggest changing the name to the Michoacana Elite! I was amazed at how nice it looked compared to any other location I have visited. The food is fusion, and the samosa smash pizza was to die for. I highly recommend this place! Of course, the sweets are fantastic, “
“I absolutely love Big Rigs! From their food truck to their restaurant, their food is always so delicious. My go to is always a Quesadilla de Alpastor (tortilla hecha a mano). They’re a pretty decent size, I get full with just one ? definitely always recommend this place to people ?“
“This place is legit! I’ve been meaning to try this little taco shop since I can walk to it - yesterday I finally did and wow! Surprised me at how great the food was and will definitely be back again. The inside is small but can seat a few folks but it’s the tables outside that make for a great spot to enjoy some tasty food with friends. Make sure to grab a horchata too! So yummy!“
“Really good, cheap. Burgers used to be really good. Last couple of times I ordered the double burger the meat was really dry. I’m not sure what’s going on with that but the Italian beef and the fries are really good for a great price. ?“
“Whats up fellow taqueros, this is your faithful TacoLoco her to review TTS. This hidden gem is legit. Nice, clean, bright and with great service. But who cares about that! Let's get down to why we came here.I ordered the taco dinner and a Diet Coke. If I'd know it was BYOB, I would have picked up 2 taco degenerates and a 12 Pk of Modelos and had a run at it.The meal was $19, but we'll worth it.The rice was fresh and well balanced. The flavor was authentic and the grains were perfectly cooked. The beans were AMAZING!I had them mix my dinner with one steak, pastor and carnitas. The steak was thin sliced and tasty but would have been better if it was flame grilled, but not bad! The Pastor was great! Light but tally and with real chunks of pineapple. Yes, pineapple. If you know, you know. The carnitas stole the show. They were fresh, lean and moist. Yeah, I said it - Moist! The salsa'a were full of flavor but medium hot. I like scorching lava hot, but these 2 were good. All in all, great place to eat. If you ever need a TD (Taco Degenerate) for company when coming here, 'put me in Coach!'“
“I never write reviews but this one was warranted. The service here was excellent and the turnaround was fast but the Carnitas were outstanding!!! My husband had a gordita de asada and it was exceptional. We'll be coming back for the Pozole on Saturday!! Highly recommended this place.“
“Regular price and size tacos al pastor are really good. On Monday and Tuesday tacos are supposed to be 1 dollar but if you don't ask they won't tell. Why would you advertise that in social media if you don't offer it to your customers and instead just give them regular tacos and when customer ask, you say that you need to ask for those ? ? If you opt for the special taco be aware that you would get 80% tortilla and 10% grease scraps.“
“The food here is AMAZING! It’s an excellent place to try something new or familiar but with an elevated taste. Plus it’s Vegetarian friendly!Vegetarian options: Every burger on the menu is able to be substituted for either a mushroom burger OR an impossible burger. They’re both delicious.“
“Very unassuming place. I just walked in randomly and had their steak burrito and a few tacos - food was excellent, very generous portions, great prices, and super clean. So glad to come here afterwards and see it has so many good reviews. Very well deserved!Dietary restrictions: Halal“
“Go for it!!I finally got a chance to eat at Big Rig Taco ?, I didn't get the Taco but I did try the steak burrito ? ?It's definitely worth a try if you're looking to try a great food truck while you're out and about.****It's cash only****But it's a food truck so...?“
“The food here at least for the carnitas, are hands down the best, i live near the ORD airport and used to drive down all the way down to the southside for some good carnitas. Thank goodness, I no longer have to since finding this gem of a restaurant. Another indication that this place is great is because it always has customers, never empty. Oh, and their champurado is da bomb! I haven't tried other stuff on their menu like tacos, flautas, etc. But I can vouch for the carnitas. staff is also friendly and very clean.“
“Great place to eat, the food is very delicious and the prices are phenomenal. One plate was enough to fill me up for lunch and have dinner as well. They have very friendly staff and have good music.Only thing to be aware of is that they have no parking lot so be on the lookout not to park on the lot next to them as that belongs to just tires and you will be towed.Muy Buena comida con precios excellentes y las porsiones son muy generosas.Los trabajadores son muy amables y tienen muy bonita Musica. No tienen lote de estacionamiento asi que no se vallan a estacionar en el lote de just tires porque pueden pedir que la grua se lleve su carro.Parking: Parking must be on the street only“
“A cute little spot we heard about from TikTok. The lady who took our order was very sweet and welcoming. We got the quesa Birria combo and ribeye burrito. The meat was well flavored. We loved the fresh salsas. Finally some flavor in the west burbs!“
“I was a bit skeptical at the beginning as I got there in the middle of the afternoon. Once the tacos came and I took a bite I was hooked.Yes the tacos are $5 but they are LOADED. I had the chicken Al Pastor and the steak. Both insanely good. The staff is nice and the vibe is chill. If you are in Oak Park and have a taco craving head there. You won’t be disappointed.“
“This is a Chicago style restaurant. You go in you order at the counter and then wait for your number to be called to pick up your food. They have a very large menu with a little something for everyone. The prices are fair and the food is tasty. They offer bottled beers as well as some Mexican drinks. There is usually some sort of sport game playing on the large TV. They also have a separate gambling room. I have been here numerous times and try something different to eat each time. Overall, it's a nice place to stop and grab a quick bite to eat. The atmosphere is just a place to eat with customers ranging from people of all backgrounds. If you are in the area and need a quick bite this is a good place to go eat.“
“We used El Pollo's food truck for a Saturday afternoon bridal shower and everything about it was amazing from start to finish! The owner, Aureliano López was a one man show, getting there in plenty of time to make a variety of delicious tacos, quesadillas and elote for 35 guests. The truck pulled all the way up the driveway into the back yard so everyone had easy access to grab their food from the brightly colored very festive truck! Couldn't have asked for a better experience- we will definitely be using El Pollo again! Chris W“
“Yum! I stopped for the first time yesterday and HAD to stop again later in the day to get lunch for my partner. It was so good! Convenient and delicious, no waiting. And the fact there is park picnic tables right by is awesome! Cash or Zelle only. Friendly and very nice folks. I'll be back soon! Thank you!!!“
“From discada platillos to quesacoa catering orders, I've never been disappointed! It's now a family holiday tradition & our last minute catering go to spot. Fast response time & when you ask for a certain time to pick up your food, it'll be ready! Looking forward to trying the rest of their menu soon.“
“Good quiet Taco place. Tortillas are handmade and big. The carne asada and al pastor meat is cooked perfect with a lil char on the asada. A cash only place but also takes zelle/quickpay. Not too busy but good place if you want a quick but delicious bite.“
“This is another stand of El Becerrito (I see another reviewed on Yelp in Uptown). I think I've noticed them driving by before, but more recently this past Friday after the bitter cold two days, I was reminded that I should make a stop. I think the stand is here primarily Mon-Fri and they start in the mornings I believe, early enough for breakfast. Street was clear enough this morning that even if you were driving, it should be easy enough to park and pickup. Tacos are $2.50 each and come with onions and cilantro if you choose, and your choice of red or green salsa. A lime is thrown in on the side and you could eat there fresh or get it to go. They put it on a styrofoam plate for me to go with foil - next time I'll just have them foil it. Great option for a quick pickup on a street full of tacos (you can get cabeza at some of the other local taquerias).“
“The carne asada burrito satisfied that craving I had. I usually get the tacos but I might be sold on the burrito. I liked the filling and it had excellent flavor.Everyone was friendly and able to joke around while being professional and accommodating. The service was top notch during the busy dinner rush. This is probably my favorite place in the area to grab a quick taco or burrito.“
“Have ordered from Taco Jerez twice now and both times the food has been delicious. we have had many of the menu items and enjoyed all of them never been disappointment. There are many Mexican restaurants in the area but Taco Jerez is definitely the best.“
“Good quality pub fare. Warm and family friendly with a nice bar. Service can be a little rough, but it's friendly and they've trying. Great rooftop when the weather's nice.Kid-friendliness: Always plenty of families with children“
“Ino's is amazing! They offer a wide varity of Mexican food and everything I have tried is delicious. Having a dedicated Gluten Free facility is also wonderful for someone with Celiac disease. We have also ordered catering from Ino's and they we delightful to work with and provided very generous portions.“
“I celebrated my birthday yesterday and staff was very friendly to accommodate my party of 25 out in their patio which they had heaters and a fire pit..plus a TV outside it felt like I was in my back yard . Food was delicious and nice and warm. Thank you Tacos Puebla everyone enjoyed your facility.Parking: Has plenty of parking all around itKid-friendliness: Has tvs playing kids videosWheelchair accessibility: Easy for wheelchair“
“This is another great family owned and operated buisness. They have a wide variety of specialty sandwiches. They offer variety of dinner options. I haven't used the catering before but I'm sure these guys are good at it. The restaurant is a hidden gem and need to look for it a little. It's clean and didn't see any signs of insects, etc....The specialize in Mexican food but as I said they have multiple specialty dinners that are not Mexican. I personally ordered a patty melt to see how they tasted, and it was great. Please support family owned businesses. I think corporate will do fine. ENJOY!!!!Parking: Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: It's ADA compliant.“
