“I love this place because the staff member carded me with a serious face so they get top scores for that even though I haven’t been carded in years (I think if they card any female over 40 or 50 they will continue to get great reviews with very happy customers feeling better). The food was outstanding. We first tried it at an event where someone had the pop-up service. We had to come to the actual place after trying it there. After eating at Invicto, I can never go to Chipotle again. The margaritas were terrific. I can see why people are raving about this place! The food and drinks are too delicious that we will want to go here too much when in Vernon Hills and will have to worry about weight gain stuffing our faces (which is a good issue to have).“

“Stopped by on a whim and was very, very surprised. The outside is quite attractive with an outside eating area. The inside is nice and clean with plenty of seating. We ordered chips and salsa, Pollo with Mole, and the Steak Burrito Fajita. The chips are homemade (as expected) and very good. The chicken in the Pollo with Mole was super tender. The mole was rich. It came with homemade corn tortillas. The Steak Burrito is filled with fajita fillings, so steak, green and red peppers, and onions. The flour tortilla was filled and grilled giving the whole a nice smokey flavor. It was one of the very best burritos I have ever had. Look over my reviews. I have eaten a lot of burritos. They have a creamy salsa verde that is great, a very nice Roja sauce, and a hot sauce that is no joke hot. Our server was great and the whole experience was a great one. Will be back soon.“

“What a delight was so happy to find this place! They have a large menu but not everything is available. The baleadas con todo did not have anything besides beans and cheese. My chicken tamale came complete with a very large bone lol but otherwise tasted good. Loved the taquitos which was surprising because so fried. Overall I would return for sure but am a little sad about the baleadas being so plain.“

“I recently celebrated my 43rd birthday at Deja Vu in Waukegan, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, organized, and ready for our party.

The atmosphere was amazing. We enjoyed great music, watched the football game, and had an incredible time with all of our friends. The drinks were excellent, and the staff made the celebration feel extra special. When we ordered a bottle, they came out with an awesome birthday presentation featuring lights and a fun celebration that made the night unforgettable.

The entire place is modern, well-maintained, and has a great vibe. I highly recommend Deja Vu to anyone looking for a fun place to celebrate a birthday or any special occasion. It's perfect if you don't want to host a party at home or if you're planning a gathering with friends and family (21+).

“The food was great! Greek salad was fresh and full of ingredients. My family had the beef tortas with which they were very generous with the beef and it was fresh and tasty. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the fries were terrible. I'm a self proclaimed fry master and these fries tasted like they'd been sitting around all day. I would visit again though and ask for fresh fries next time around.“
