“My wife and I celebrated our anniversary breakfast at Gardenberry Cafe, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how clean, friendly, and welcoming the atmosphere was. The outdoor seating was a real highlight—it felt so good to enjoy a quiet meal outside together. Now the food… wow. I ordered the fajita skillet and French toast—both were incredible. My wife had the deluxe Philly cheesesteak with fries and tortilla soup. That soup was out of this world, and everything on her plate was just as impressive. The service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. Honestly, the only "negative" is that Gardenberry is 35 minutes from our house. If it were closer, we'd be regulars. But even with the drive, we’ll absolutely be back soon. Great place, great people, great food. Highly recommend!”

“Hands down one of the best breakfast spots I've been to in while. I first visited their Naperville location in 2021 and fell in love with the potatoes and pancakes. There can be a wait but I suggest making reservations or going before 11am. Even if you wait, its totally worth it.”

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere and music set the perfect vibe, and the lovely gentleman who always serves me makes every visit feel welcoming and personal. I recently discovered this location and I’m already in love—this is my second visit just this week.

You must try the honey garlic chicken (it’s incredible), unless something else on their impressive 10-sauce menu catches your eye—honestly, you can’t go wrong. Everything I’ve had has been fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.

I truly hope to enjoy this spot for a very long time. Do yourself a favor and stop by to support this fantastic Korean restaurant. Highly recommended!”

“This place has amazing food. One thing I’ve noticed in the area is that many restaurants don’t really put much care into Korean side dishes (banchan), which is disappointing because they’re such an important part of the meal. That was not the case here at SGD Dubu So Gong Dong.

My experience was fantastic from start to finish. My waitress was polite, kind, and patient, and she absolutely hooked it up with the banchan. Everything felt intentional and well-prepared.

The food itself was incredible. No matter how much I practice at home, I can never get my beef bulgogi, kalbi, or banchan anywhere close to the quality they serve here. You can really taste the difference.

If I lived closer, I would be here all the time. The price is completely worth it for both the quality of the food and the level of customer service. Highly recommend.”

“It’s tasty, but sometimes the chicken has a smell. On weekends it’s usually good, so I order then. But when I order on Wednesdays or Thursdays, the chicken often smells. That’s why these days I only get it on weekends. During the week, if I want chicken, Popeyes is better.”

You place your own order at the kiosk, but the staff was very helpful with our questions. The cook and cashier were both super kind.
The only downside was the seating area. The tables needed to be wiped down, although the ordering station and food line looked clean. Overall, a good experience and I would go back. We did take our food to go.”

“1st time visiting this establishment. Very friendly and nostalgic atmosphere. Had their 1/3 burger and onion rings. It was fantastic!! Best burger I've had in a long time. Actually meaty and fresh not one of those frozen smash burgers. Can't wait for my next visit. Hope to try something new, if I can convince myself to skip the burgers. And did I mention very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!”

It's 30 minutes away but that's better then having to drive twice as long to the City for great Thai... “Love this location! The pastries and donuts are fresh and delicious, the drinks are super well made, and the staff are polite, friendly, and helpful. I love coming here before or after a movie— don’t have a pic as I ate it too quickly, but the chocolate donut is incredible. The filling is chocolatey but light, the donut itself is airy and not too sweet. The chai latte is also fantastic. Highly recommend :)”

I had their harissa chicken bowl with a skewer of salmon kabob on a side. It was alright, nothing extraordinary.
$19,48 - including tax. They are kinda stingy on protein, that amount of chicken was for kids size meal. That’s why I had to add salmon ($4 for 2 tinny pieces of salmon).”

“Love coming to this Chick-fil-a location. I've been to the Gurnee one and it was bad. The staff here are very friendly and do a great job. Always appreciate when they walk around and see how things are going. Have bailed me out many times for a refill when I didn't want to leave my kid alone at the table. My daughter loves the mac and cheese and playing in the play place. Our orders always come out correct. Condiments and napkins are always well stocked. The Gurnee location I had to ask the counter for ketchup and extra napkins... Love the random bingo nights and things like that too.”
