The only downside is that the bill arrives a bit too quickly, making the experience feel slightly rushed at the end. Still, the overall quality and vibe make it a solid spot !”

“Went to Nirvana Kitchen & Wine Bar on a Friday night and loved the intimate, cozy atmosphere! There was a live musician singing and playing guitar, which added such a nice touch to the evening. They also have an amazing wine selection, and our bartender was great!

For drinks, we ordered the Oktoberfest beer and an Old Fashioned. For an appetizer, we got the Brie Fondue with toasted pretzel bread. The fondue was creamy, rich, and delicious. Perfect for sharing!

But the absolute star of the night was the Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake! Everything just melts in your mouth, with that perfect caramel crisp that takes it to another level. Honestly, I could come back just for this dessert!

Between the cozy atmosphere, live music, great drinks, and that incredible dessert, Nirvana is such a lovely spot for a relaxed Friday night out. Definitely save room for the sticky toffee pudding cake!”

“I've gone here multiple times with my parents for lunch and they've eaten here many more times than that. The day after my mother passed away my father and I came here for lunch after starting to deal with necessary arrangements. My father mentioned my mother's passing and everyone there was beyond nice and comforting. Christine (owner, manager?) came over and spent at least 20 minutes talking to us and encouraging a good mood in my father. She couldn't have been nicer and even offered some help for the shiva that was absolutely above and beyond. We're always happy with the food, but I can't possibly express how much I think of the people at Real Urban BBQ”

“Where do I even begin? The pita? Perfect texture and taste. The cherry tomatoes? Obviously fresh, juicy, and sourced from a great farm. The romain? Plentiful and CRISP. The Dill and Taziki sauce? Also VERY fresh, has a citrus kick somewhere, and seems to be made fresh as well. Because it doesn't taste like a store bought sauce filled with preservatives. The hummus? That might actually be where the citrus is from. However, the hummus is not overly salty! You can actually taste the Chickpeas and they use good ingredients as well as olive oil for the hummus too! The chicken? Is in NO way shape or form dry and it's actually seasoned! It's juicy and normal is it overcooked. The olives? Brothers and sisters I HATE olives by themselves, rarely on certain foods. But these olives are not overpowering and stealing the flavor profile, it just adds more depth to the flavor bomb of the Greek chicken Pita! The feta? What could be bettah? Seriously though if you can see this picture you should've seen that they don't skip on the feta either. Again the flavor is ALL the way there but not overpowering. While the texture is almost creamy. Probably with assistance from the sauce but still, it's not overly dry! 10/10 Would recommend & I will be back! Now the facility was spotless, the cleanest "fast food" I've ever seen. The staff? Phenomenonal, personable, kind, attentive to details, and downright superstars that make that place run like clockwork! Wooooo wo weeeee wo!!! If you haven't been here then you've got to go!! Moderate prices, exceptional ingredients, lovely staff, and clean facilities(where the staff actually care like the NW Expressway location in OKC). I'm out, ty for listening to my Ted talk! 🫡”

“We’ve been to Honest twice now, and both experiences have been wonderful! The food is absolutely delicious, and I especially loved the Punjabi Thali.

But what really stands out is the amazing customer service. Usha has been our server both times, and she is always so warm, friendly, and attentive! She genuinely goes out of her way to make us feel welcome and even introduced us to the dahi puri, which turned out to be delicious! It’s little things like that that make the experience so memorable.

“I love this place because the staff member carded me with a serious face so they get top scores for that even though I haven’t been carded in years (I think if they card any female over 40 or 50 they will continue to get great reviews with very happy customers feeling better). The food was outstanding. We first tried it at an event where someone had the pop-up service. We had to come to the actual place after trying it there. After eating at Invicto, I can never go to Chipotle again. The margaritas were terrific. I can see why people are raving about this place! The food and drinks are too delicious that we will want to go here too much when in Vernon Hills and will have to worry about weight gain stuffing our faces (which is a good issue to have).”

“My wife and I celebrated our anniversary breakfast at Gardenberry Cafe, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how clean, friendly, and welcoming the atmosphere was. The outdoor seating was a real highlight—it felt so good to enjoy a quiet meal outside together. Now the food… wow. I ordered the fajita skillet and French toast—both were incredible. My wife had the deluxe Philly cheesesteak with fries and tortilla soup. That soup was out of this world, and everything on her plate was just as impressive. The service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. Honestly, the only "negative" is that Gardenberry is 35 minutes from our house. If it were closer, we'd be regulars. But even with the drive, we’ll absolutely be back soon. Great place, great people, great food. Highly recommend!”
