“My wife and I celebrated our anniversary breakfast at Gardenberry Cafe, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how clean, friendly, and welcoming the atmosphere was. The outdoor seating was a real highlight—it felt so good to enjoy a quiet meal outside together. Now the food… wow. I ordered the fajita skillet and French toast—both were incredible. My wife had the deluxe Philly cheesesteak with fries and tortilla soup. That soup was out of this world, and everything on her plate was just as impressive. The service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. Honestly, the only "negative" is that Gardenberry is 35 minutes from our house. If it were closer, we'd be regulars. But even with the drive, we’ll absolutely be back soon. We’ve been lucky to have him multiple times, and he’s consistently attentive, friendly, and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. He checks in at the right times, keeps everything running smoothly, and always has a great attitude. Service like his really makes a difference, definitely one of the reasons we keep coming back!“

“Straight fire. Been here many times and never had a bad experience. They recently added birria and $3 margaritas which is an insane deal. If they push more for it to be a bar spot with those prices it would be packed 24/7. Will continue to come here for awesome food.“

“I've gone here multiple times with my parents for lunch and they've eaten here many more times than that. The day after my mother passed away my father and I came here for lunch after starting to deal with necessary arrangements. My father mentioned my mother's passing and everyone there was beyond nice and comforting. Christine (owner, manager?) came over and spent at least 20 minutes talking to us and encouraging a good mood in my father. She couldn't have been nicer and even offered some help for the shiva that was absolutely above and beyond. “Finally found my 1st great Thai place in Lake Cty since I moved here a year ago from Chicago... I tried them yesterday and looooved the eggplant with basil and basil chicken dishes... It's 30 minutes away but that's better then having to drive twice as long to the City for great Thai... Yay. Shumai is my fav hands down so of course I had to try it—I think it’s lacking some ginger and sesame oil. Theirs is good though, not great like MingHin in Rolling Meadows. The shrimp dumpling was pretty good. Other things ordered was a tofu dish, general tso chicken, sesame chicken, fried rice and fried shrimp roll. Everything was pretty decent. Will definitely be back.“
