“Louie's is the best place to eat in Waukegan. Great Italian food, thin crust pizza, fried chicken and fish. Everything is great. They give you the best bread hot from the oven when you sit down. Huge bar. Family friendly. You can't go wrong at this place.“

“I'm not much of a Sushi person but that might have changed after my visit here. Went for a friend's birthday dinner, no reservations, no wait, just walked in and was seated. After ordering, food less than 10 minutes later and looked GREAT! My favorite was the shrimp roll. Will definitely be eating here more“

I been here plenty of time since it opened but today's wings hit different fresh, crispy, full of sauce not greasy or oily like other times before. Who ever new tall guy cooking back there keep him! You can tell this is comfort food done right. The tacos dorados were hands down the best I’ve ever had. I went with the papa ones, and they were perfectly crispy, flavorful, and not greasy at all. I also tried a birria taco, which was amazing and packed with rich flavor. Their salsas and chiles deserve a shoutout too. Bold, fresh, and on point. Nothing watered down. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, and I would absolutely come back without hesitation. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food done right.“

“Hidden gem! Cozy place with a great atmosphere. Friendly staff, a bar, and TVs for the soccer games. The agua de jamaica was delicious and well balanced, not too sweet and not too tart. The al pastor tacos were packed with meat that was juicy and flavorful on double tortillas, and they did not skimp on the taco portions. Everything tasted fresh and quick to the table. I cant wait to come back and try more of the menu. Give this place a try.“

I was told she was fired and I ordered food 3 times since with no issues. Tonight she is working an i was denied food and police called on me because I recorded situation“
