As someone who goes to a lot of Mexican restaurants in the city and overall area, I really look forward to trying new places. Heard some really good things about this one in particular however they did let me down. The beans tasted like they came out of a can and the rice was subpar. The chicken was super dry and the cheese threw me off. The Al pastor was pretty tasty though.
Hidden gem! Cozy place with a great atmosphere. Friendly staff, a bar, and TVs for the soccer games. The agua de jamaica was delicious and well balanced, not too sweet and not too tart. The al pastor tacos were packed with meat that was juicy and flavorful on double tortillas, and they did not skimp on the taco portions. Everything tasted fresh and quick to the table. I cant wait to come back and try more of the menu. Give this place a try.
Great food, tremendous service. Cannot to stop again there when in the neighborhood!!
