“Tokyo Bowl is one of Vernon Hills' hidden gems. It's tucked away in a strip mall off of Townline Road. Ever since I was a child, I've always asked my parents to take me here for a special lunch. Now, it's my go-to spot for sushi dates. Every dish on the menu is beautifully crafted and undeniably delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone who is a fan of Asian cuisine. If you're someone who doesn't like sushi, you should try the Korean cup-bop or the ramen instead. My favorite dishes are the mango ramen, rainbow roll, and beef cup-bop. I'd like to personally thank the business owner for being such a gentleman and providing the best possible service to all of his customers for the many, many years. You are appreciated!“
“I am always completely impressed with Tsubasa every time I eat there. The food is fantastic, the chefs are phenomenal, and I always have plenty left over for breakfast the next day. It is on the pricey side which is why we only go there on special occasions, but it is so worth it. Highly recommended, so if you can go there, go. I would go to the Vernon Hills, IL one if you have a choice because the atmosphere is better there.Vegetarian options: There are options for vegetarians as well.Parking: They have a rather large parking lot with handicap parking as well. There is overflow parking in the surrounding store areas as well.Kid-friendliness: They like to include the kids in their show and make them feel welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicapped parking and all tables are wheelchair accessible.“
“My first experience ever at a Teriyaki Madness was at the Gurnee location this past early December and I'm so glad to have tried it. TM has grown on me big time, I looove this place!Roughly 3 weeks later that month, my family & I were in Vernon Hills and my wife was asking what the dinner plans were. I knew Mellody Farm boasts an extensive array of great eats so TM sounded downright mouthwatering.I figured we haven't tried the VH location yet and my stepdaughter who hasn't tried TM yet was back from college for Christmas break so it was good timing.It's amazing what you can do with a short menu and convert it into an expanding sensation. Not sure about the slightly lower ratings at this location compared to the Gurnee location but the value of the food, cleanliness of the venue and service are all consistently good.Easily at least a couple of times a month I gotta get my fill of the madness and this place will always hit the spot. I hope for continued booming business for the owner(s) for decades to come.“
“Went here on a Friday night recently for the first time with a friend. The host and the waitress made sure that my first experience would be unforgettable. We received delicious appetizers on the house. Service was probably the best service I've received in a really long time. And most importantly the food was delicious and fresh. Staff put so much effort into their service and food. It was refreshing to have such a positive experience at a local restaurant for a change. Will be back again soon!“
