“First time at Tonality. Early dinner. Molly was our server and had 2 excellent reco's. For me it was the Gnocchi which was a plate cleaner. The combo of gnocchi with mushroom and asparagus was smart. The sauce was lemony and tasted a bit like vinegar which I liked. My wife had the pork Schnitzel with spatzel. The breading was dark and tasty. The portion was huge. She loved it. I had a tasty Amber Ale with dinner. Cool brewery atmosphere in an open space. Highly recommend.”

“Can’t beat this place for ribs. Been going for decades. They still fall off the bone they are so tender. Service is great, lovely dining room across the street from Diamond Lake. Good wine list and extensive menu. We would go more often if it wasn’t so pricey but it’s our go-to spot for special occasions.”

“Nice atmosphere good live music. Had the Mahi didn't care for it tasted old so didn't eat it but the others like their dish tuna and scallops and shrimp wellington. The deserts & appetizers were good.”

“My wife and I were very impressed with this restaurant, it was our first time dinning here, this is an authentic French restaurant. Let me start by saying the customer service is top notch. Our server Miguel was very knowledgeable with the menu and all the staff were very friendly. Our food did not disappoint, it’s was so delicious and I would say one of the best restaurants in town. From the salad, appetizer to the main entrees and dessert, everything was perfect. I would highly recommend Taste of Paris.”

“This restaurant was absolutely amazing! It is the definition of a hole in the wall. Service was amazing. As the picture shows they even made up a a drink just for us then wrote down the recipe. The was soup Chicken Enchilada was delicious. My wife hates clack beans and she still likes the soup. She got the fajita chicken wrap. That was really good! She put the whole thing away! I got the veggie burger with Gouda cheese with a huge amount of mushrooms piled on (I paid extra for them) I they came curly with fries or regular fries. The curly fries were just like Arby’s, which is a huge compliment from me. This place is highly recommended!!Dietary restrictions: They went out of their to accommodate my genetic for limitations.Kid-friendliness: This place is a bar. It really isn’t for kids.”

“We have been searching for decent “Chinese” food since moving to mchenry 8 months ago and NOTHING in the area was even close to being good. This was the first time I’ve had it since moving and I can FINALLY say we found the place. The egg rolls were so good, which is usually my biggest test on a place! The beef egg food young was also great, no big chunks of onions either. It was a good portion of ingredients, and the flavor was spot on. My husband had the chicken fried rice and orange chicken and he said it was really good - he usually says “it was fine” whenever we get Chinese, so this is a big compliment coming from him. The service getting the food was quick and still warm when we got it. I do remember coming here years ago, and remember it being really a great atmosphere and really good. So luckily with Uber Eats, we were able to have it delivered. I am thrilled to say I FINALLY found my go to spot!!!!”

“I tried this restaurant because the other Korean restaurant on the same road has gone downhill quality wise. I have been going since. Their price is just $1 or $2 higher than the other one but the food is much better quality and larger portion. You can tell they are very proud of their food. They make their own kimchi. They check on you frequently to make sure you are happy with the food. Highly recommend this restaurant!”

“This is definitely a hidden gem in a strip mall in Mundalein. Welcoming and knowledgeable host. Excellent beers. I really enjoyed the English Ale and Bavarian Wheat I tried. I bought a branded howler and will certainly be returning for regular refills.”

“Wonderful Thursday night dinner at Park Street. Atmosphere was lively and patrons were having fun.Enjoyed a Horsefeather Cocktail and the Chopped Salad. My daughter enjoyed the Pesto Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. Both meals were prepared with care and enjoyable.Looking forward to our next visit.”

“Definitely the best Jewel in Mundelein. Produce and deli items are always fresh, the cooler with cold drinks makes it all the better. Very simple layout of the store, everything is easy to find. Staff is always friendly and ready to help. Everything is super clean here. The variety of products is amazing as well.I strongly suggest downloading the app and keeping track of your points, the deals you find on the app are amazing. Highly recommend.”

“Having been here many years ago, and returning, found that their food has improved, but the service is minimal at best with the owner and one staff waiting on all the tables. After we sat down to a half empty room, it started to fill up and there were not enough staff, not even a bus boy to clear tables.We ordered the Dolsot be Bim bop and the Yuk Guy Jang, which I order visiting new Resturants to see if they are consistent with authentic Korean food. The Yuk Guy Jang was good but much different than I’ve ever had before.I will try to visit again since I love Korean food too see if they are consistent.Be fore you go, look ? ⬇️ and hit the thumbs ? up.”

“Like most polish delis that have the only kabanas worth buying. It's a great priced deli they have so many great meats and polish products. It's a diamond in the rough nowadays.”

“It's a convenient place to dine when staying at the hotel. The menu is very limited and provides your basic food distributor options. The ladies who were bartenders my first week there were great. On my return trip, there was a gent behind the bar, and he was not remotely close to as friendly or prompt as the ladies (one was in training-1st night) .”

“El Barrio has been around longer than I have been alive. A family run restaurant that serves authentic and delicious Mexican food. The staff is experienced and friendly. Prices are reasonable and there is always room in the dining area. This is a gem of an establishment in the heart of a residential area. Their guacamole is some of the best around. Go and you will feel as if you are sitting in a barrio.”

“Wide selection of meats, fish, pre prepared dishes, etc. the stuffed trout, roasted duck and baba ganouj (eggplant dish/spread) were exceptionally good. Excellent selection of healthy, Russian/Slavic breads.”

“Eastern bloc foods served by the nicest family. Nonna showed up and was appalled that I'd been waiting she offered me free honeyed dates, and when she finally rushed my order out, she apologized and gave me an apple. Lovely people. I'll be back.”

“Haven't visited in quite a while, particularly for dinner. The current chef seems to be doing a respectable job with ingredient selection and traditional preparation techniques. I didn't think we'd ever find Tara no Kiku (cod milt) fresh in Mundelein, but they're doing it. They have a nice selection to dine izakaya style. It's pretty spendy though, being higher than other similar spots around.”
