“I love coming to this bar!! Every Thursday they switch the Tap!! TAP TAKEOVER and omg the beers are amazing. They also have live music, came to see Frank liston Music, he was amazing and added to the atmosphere. The staff is super friendly. Food is okay but overall the atmosphere is where it's at!! Come for Tap Takeovers!“
“This is an absolute hidden gem of Mundelein!!! Everything is seasoned so well, delicious food, priced fairly, great service. We have tried so many Mexican restaurants all over town and this is hands down the best. We’ve eaten here lots of times- the tacos are always amazing, tortas, burritos too. I’ve had a few of the Mexican classic dinners. Never any complaints. Check it out!!“
“I haven't seen a mention of the beer battered mushroom appetizers. The best ever. Those and their sausage pizza can't be beat anywhere. The staff is also great. We haven't sampled the entire menue but everything we've had has been off the charts great.“
“Wonderful Thursday night dinner at Park Street. Atmosphere was lively and patrons were having fun.Enjoyed a Horsefeather Cocktail and the Chopped Salad. My daughter enjoyed the Pesto Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. Both meals were prepared with care and enjoyable.Looking forward to our next visit.“
“Great place to have stop by and eat out in. Great variety of dishes can be found in their menu and the quality of the food is great. My go-to dish are the Chilaquiles, Although somewhat spicy having ordered a side of white toast really complement eachother. Not much can be said about the service, As soon as I arrived I was cordially escorted to my seat and the waitress was very nice and attentive. Will recommend this place to anyone looking for a homecook meal. Make sure to come early oherwise there will be a wait time which it isn't too long as patrons come and go and the wait is redeemed by their delicious food.Kid-friendliness: Establishment has a small selection of items for Kids.“
“First time random choice visiting the area from Chicago. Obviously very popular (the best sign) with the locals and the food (and price) was great! So was service from busser to server to manager who checked in with us. Perfect casual spot!“
“It's Culver's, you should know what to expect. This location is very good, I've never had a bad experience. We always do drive thru and they're very efficient with it. I can't give a fast food place more than 4 stars since it's just fast food. Culver's is a bit pricier than other fast food spots, but the quality is better than most. When you get a basket with cheese curds and a shake you're looking at almost $20 so it's not the best value, but that's not the fault of any singular location.“
“"I had a wonderful dining experience at Everett Farm Food! The food was amazing, with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The service was excellent, with fast and attentive waitstaff. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great meal!"“
“This restaurant/bar boasts a charming ambiance and an eclectic menu. The entire staff was delightful, and our server was particularly kind. The Bloody Marys were spot-on. The food was delicious and served in generous portions. Leaving room for dessert was a great decision, as we absolutely loved the Huckleberry Pie.“
“Quite a drive for me but worth the trip. Easy parking, the place was inviting even from the outside, and seating was comfortable. Our waitress was super nice and attentive throughout our meal. All three of us had the bottomless mimosa, which is only worth it if you drink three or more. I chose it because I wanted to try the different kinds of mimosas: oj, cranberry, and pineapple. Yum to them all. For my meal, I split the Veggie Fritatta and the Chiliquiles with my friend. I liked the chiliqiiles more (crunchy chips) than the fritatta (chunks of potato). The special: corn beef eggrolls were also really good. My other friend had the steak and cheese, which she loved. The amount given was just enough, and the prices were decent.“
“I joked to my friends that I want to be the GM of this place, and in my interview I would stress that I have zero ideas for change, I bring nothing new to the table, and would strive to keep everything exactly as it is. This place is perfect and I would drive up to Beelow's over any steakhouse in Chicago. I love a classic restaurant doing things the old way, and the food and service are genuinely fantastic.“
“The service was fantastic at this cute place. The atmosphere and menu were wonderful. The food was pricey and ok. I ordered an extra egg which didn't come and was charged 3 dollars. One child's food came and the other came 8 minutes later.... doesn't seemlike a lot but it's a lot when you are with hungry kids. I am not sure if this would be my first choice for brunchI will go back for a drink though“
“Whitney St is a traditional diner, and the food is good and service good. What my family especially appreciates is the Sunday buffet. Great for the kids and great for larger groups.Kid-friendliness: Such an easy place to eat with the kiddos.“
“This place seemed as if it was an upscale sports bar. Plenty on tvs to view games, but above that was the food! I was very surprised at how everything tasted, making me savor that last bite. Cocktails ? were pleasant and just the overall presentation. If you are in the area, definitely make a stop and try this place. The fried alligator was a hit!!“
“We order from here alot for our office. Today I called at 10:45am and placed a big order with alot of I don't want this, want extra that. Mario was awesome and read it back perfectly. We picked it up, and the bags had exactly what was in them per order. They have never done this before but it sure helps to not take someone else's sandwich or have to open the foil and dig through someone else's order. Mario went above and beyond.. our food was right and everything was perfect down to the extra pickles. I called to let them know and Mario remembered me and was happy to hear the praise and thanks but I also wanted to post this publicly. You won't be sorry ordering from here!!! Oh and one person in the office raves about the ranch and would drink it if she could.. it's very good!!!“
“Here for brunch @ noon. Seated promptly, everyone was kind, the table was set and clean. The 360 fireplace is a nice touch, just watch the step up/down in that area. Service was quick, order accurate and a small pot of coffee was left at the table.“
“Spicy Wings!!! Great place to entertain family and friend!!!! . If you want spicy wings with meat on them (not Bdubs) this is the place. Ordered the wings as spicy you can make them and my lips are still tingline if you know what I mean. Just asked Jake and they are called suicide jalapeño. Awesome atmosphere will definitely come here again for another sporting event!“
“Thin crust was comparable to other popular franchise pizza places but for a fraction of the price. One topping sausage was amazing; their sausage is better than most that I’ve tried! Friendly staff on the phone and pick up, pizza was ready on time and steaming hot. This is a great local business to support!“
“From the moment I placed my order at Kaiser's Pizza and Pub, the experience was seamless and thoroughly enjoyable.Opting for two pizzas, each was crafted to perfection, embodying the essence of what a great pizza should be. It's evident that Kaiser's takes pride in their food preparation, as both pizzas were not only made exactly as requested but also allowed for a customized addition—broccoli, in this case—showcasing their flexibility and dedication to customer satisfaction. The staff at Kaiser's Pizza and Pub deserves a special mention for their congeniality and professionalism. They made the dining experience feel personal and inviting, which is a rarity in today's fast-paced world. Furthermore, the efficiency of service was commendable, with the order arriving right on time, proving that Kaiser's values both quality and punctuality.“
“We love it here! It's a great atmosphere with super friendly staff. Good prices and even better food. Drinks are a good price too and they have rotating cans to try new beers every time we go. Our favorite menu items are the pizza, island patty melt, wings, and the Mac and cheese bites! This is our favorite location for date night and it's top of mind for a great bar to sit at. Plus you have bowling and pool tables right there as well.“
“We had a girls dinner at Coopers Hawk and all was fantastic - the food, atmosphere and service. Our waitress Paula was amazing and just so sweet attentive. I ordered some appetizers to munch on. The drunken shrimp (came with 5) were good and crisp. the ‘over the border egg rolls’ were the best I have ever had! Two of the three dipping sauces it came with were dynamite! In additional to their famous crispy brussels sprouts, I will also be ordering the on the border egg rolls too. The Cooper’s hawk ale was also a delightful“
“Local spot that's small but so great for Friday night fish fry. We talked to strangers sitting around us at their table and it became such a fun night meeting new people. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Small but mighty. Support your local establishments.“
“Well, been passing by this place forever and this time we decided to stop in. Very sparse parking so we asked where to park and immediately the female bartender came outside and pointed to a few locations. She must have been an owner because it is rare and doubtful an employee would be so accommodating. Moving on..... We were seated, by the very nice and conscientious female bartender. She asked for our drink order and gave us menus........ So far so good......The food..... Corn Beef and Cabbage Dinner-Outstanding Monster Burger-Incredible Ruben-Great Patty Melt- Delicious Absolutely excellent all around. Not a single negative comment from anyone in our party. Oh, yeah! There was a gentleman talking to some people at the bar and was showing the coolest DUCK model to his friends. Said his buddy made them and was selling them for $5. My buddy immediately jumped up and bought it and asked for another one. Well the gentleman left the bar. Damn... no duck for me....... Hold on...... He returned with another duck in hand. I snapped it up and thanked him. That doesn't happen nowadays. How cool is that. The entire experience of that bar/grille was that of a typical Chicago old neighborhood tavern. Great people. Great food. special nod to the female bartender. Awesome lady who "gets it." We'll be back.....again and again.“
“Stop here a couple times a month. This is 100% dive bar. Overall it’s pretty worn down but kept pretty clean. The locals are friendly and typically interact with others. Food is pretty good and they have daily specials. There seems to be enough parking at least during the day. Bar tenders are friendly and do a good job with the service. Pool table, darts and gambling machines. A few tvs are typically playing some sports.“
“Craving for a good burger? Stop by Wick n Ore! I recommend the Wagyu Burger on a Pretzel Bun with American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pickles and Sautéed Onions. The burger was cooked perfectly and ingredients were fresh. Their house fries were really crispy and not overly salty. Our waitress was amazing. Attentive, very friendly and also made some good recommendations on food. Do save room for dessert! Highly recommend their dessert shots. Their house made apple crisp was amazing!! Can't go wrong with vanilla ice cream and whip cream on top on an hot apple pie! A very casual place to dine in with friends and family and catch parts of the football game during the season.“
“It's been awhile since I've been in the area. Had to stop out. Layout is the same. The place remains under the same owner as far back as I can remember. Staff is very friendly. The food is delivered quickly, the portions are above average in size, and they even do stuff like serve full pickle spears instead of cheap thin slices. Overall a solid entry into a pretty competitive market (Lake Zurich). I'll be back soon.“
“This local “joint” has something for everyone! My son loves the beef & I’m a fan of the mozzarella burger (w fresh grown lettuce..,what?!I would walk across hot coals for their home cut fries!!Lots of folks go for the gaming. Also the lady @ the counter & the chef were extremely friendly & accommodating.Check it out!“
“Savory dishes were delicious, well-seasoned. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly crisp! But dessert dishes like the crepes and pancakes were horrible. Crepes tasted really wet (texture is like an overcooked noodle) and pancakes were flat and tasteless.“
“The menu and taplist are great! Something for everyone! Plenty of vegetarian and carnivore options, most beer styles well-represented. Lots of local gems on the tap list, amazing selection of bottles and top shelf whiskey wall, and superb specialty cocktails. Great service-Real good people.“
“Absolutely love this place, came all the time when we lived here but last year moved up to Milwaukee. We happily make the commute here, the food is always amazing and the staff are so kind and genuine! You truly get the sense they all enjoy working here and providing great service. Love this place and will never stop recommending them to everyone I talk to“
“My husband has been coming here since high school in the 1990’s - always raved about it. We’ve been coming together since we met 11 years ago. The food never disappoints and portions are huge! Our server, Sammie, has been here forever and is WONDERFUL!!! My husband travels to New York often for work and says the Canteen corned beef is even better than the famous Katz’s Deli in NYC!!! It’s amazing! You won’t be disappointed ever with anything you order!!! I can’t give enough stars!!!!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“The food was delicious as always, and the service was great. Tina was an excellent waiter. The Alpine omelette had a lovely flavor and the Door County Melt with Gluten Free bread was remarkable. The coffee, however, tasted like it was on the burner too long. One of the pleasant features of coming to Egg Harbor was the flavor of the day coffee and we’re disappointed that they no longer carry that. The specialty coffees do not make up for that. As a plus, they have a gluten-free menu and offer it upfront.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free“
“Went to lunch with my dad. I had the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever eaten and as usual the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Live going there. It always makes my day a bit brighter. It’s like eating with family, without all the drama of actual family.“
“We celebrated a birthday here recently. The steak was excellent! I eat primarily carnivore and the kitchen prepared a skirt steak atop a bed of bacon. Not just a couple slices of average bacon. This was 6 slices of crispy bacon topped with a perfect medium rare steak! A great meal overall with one caveat when they gave our table to another party when we were 5 minutes late and told us they did that. We waited about 20 minutes for our table. Not the end of the world but a bit frustrating.“
“The service was exceptional, just as one would anticipate from a higher-end restaurant. Ryan, our server, demonstrated politeness, expertise, and patience regarding our dietary restrictions. He was attentive and tailored his suggestions to our preferences. The food was delicious.“
“Took a star off because there was barely any service. Place feels VERY cramped especially if seated in the middle, I will probably get to-go next time. The Hershey’s devil’s delight pancakes are to die for. One of the best pancakes I’ve ever had! It has chocolate chips, ganache and choco icecream alongside with whipped cream and strawberries, so dang delicious!Toast was average but omelette was pretty good.I’ve already returned more than once for the chocolate pancakes!Anyway there needs a better system for checking in because we were skipped over when we were there :-(“
“I loved it here. Food is my heaven, and this place was out of this world! Their BBQ sauces to die for! Everything here was amazing. Staff was efficient and very pleasant. A lot of parking space and enough seats to sit and relax for a while wasn't crowded for a Saturday night! I'm definitely coming back here to try more. No complaints here, delicious chefs kiss“
“We do not stop at Cracker Barrel cause there isn't one near our house. We found this one en route to southern Illinois for the eclipse thing. We know the food is good and we were not disappointed. I forgot the exact name of our choices but a serious flow of plates arrival at our table thinking we made an error, but there was no error.I especially got excited thinking mini whiskey bottles were given to us, but it was good surup. The wait was long as expected, but well worth the wait for a respectful price.“
“Went on a whim on Friday and had a great experience with Lizzie. She was patient and super helpful when making recommendations. Literally everything she suggested was to die for. Can't wait until I'm back in the area ....... making sure Lizzie is working before heading in!“
“The food is sooo good! Especially the wings! Everyone is so nice and personable! Update 2024: under new mgt. Food is excellent! Drinks too! I wish I could remember the young lady who took care of us but it's ok because everyone who we spoke to that worked there, were great! Also, the wings are still gargantuan y'all...and super tasty! Pork chops...amazing and tasty, nicely seasoned!“
“I went to Eggsperience Breaskfast and Lunch in Elmwood Park, IL. This is same company name but in different location in Wheeling, IL. Both are similar food but different beverages. This place is modern, middle size building and very positive vibe when it's bad day!Macchiato cafe with Carmel flavor taste so natural sweet and less bitter. Southwest Benedict turns out so perfect like healthier. The waitress is so nice and patient to communicate with me and my friend.“
“3/23/24 my son Isaac and I visited the Wheeling location. My son has a severe gluten allergy. Maggie, our server went above and beyond to help accommodate my son's allergy. She was cheerful, friendly, and her kindness changed our night. I will DEFINITELY be coming back because of Maggie, and I will recommend her and C.H. to friends. Thank you Maggie!Dietary restrictions: See other comments.“
“This place is simply amazing. I went there for a paint n sip and instantly knew I'd like to host an event there. I decided to have my 30th birthday party there. I rented out the private area, where you had the option of having your own DJ and personal Bartender. David, the owner, worked with me closely throughout the process. From helping me choose a DJ to helping with the food options. He made sure during the night that me and my guests were happy and satisfied. It was definitely a vibe there! All the guests had a great time and enjoyed the atmosphere. DeeJay Nez was great. He understood the assignment! The Theme was "Back to the 90s" he played a great mix of 90s/2000s. If you want to have a good time and relax, or need a space to host a party, I definitely recommend Social Bar and Grill! You won't be sorry! The food was amazing, music great, staff was friendly and attentive. 5 stars for this place. I'll definitely be back for their themed nights and to host another party! Thank David for a great time!“
“Very friendly service and great burgers. Had been looking forward to coming here for a long time and finally made it. We were sat in a reasonable time for a busy Friday evening. Good selection of food choices. Can't wait to come back.“
“I had the pleasure of eating here tonight. Habib was our server and he made my whole night! He has such an easy, lighthearted way of engaging us during dinner that also provides the perfect amount of attention and care to our experience. The food was delicious. I got the kale salad and filet mignon. The potato with my filet was exceptionally tasty.“
“I've been eating at this restaurant for over 20 years. It's a family restaurant, where the owner knows all his regular customers by name and the new ones he treats like he's known them for years as well. This restaurant has managed to stay in business while many of the others around it have closed. The food is well above your average family restaurant and the prices reflect that. This isn't fine dining as some like to compare it too. The staff works hard and many have worked there for 10-20 years. Customers come in and ask for specific servers due to the service and relationships built over the years. There are LOTS of customers who eat here daily or multiple times weekly!! The restaurant is always clean and has a beautiful banquet hall attached that has events going on almost daily. Many groups and organizations come in monthly and rent out the room. The soups, salads (create your own), pancakes, skirt steak, Athenian Chicken, wings and Chicken Mykonos (Wednesday night only) are some of my favorites.“
“They serve consistently good food paired with interesting and delicious wines. Not inexpensive, but it is more like dining in a city restaurant. For a small place in a strip shopping center they are doing something right to have been around for a long time.“
“Absolute BEST FRIES! The Taste is one of a kind EVERYTHING IS FRESH MADE TO ORDER! The Hotdogs, burgers and beef are AMAZING! One of the last gems that has Truely good, unique soul food.Wheelchair accessibility: Floor is level with the parking lot!“
“Zin is a place that we don't visit often. The food is decent enough, but an extremely limited menu. The service was slow on a night where it wasn't very crowded, and I would say our meals were above average but definitely not something that I would recommend as a must go to. It's a decent place to meet friends for a cocktail maybe a couple of appetizers really more than anything else.“
“Can’t beat this place for ribs. Been going for decades. They still fall off the bone they are so tender. Service is great, lovely dining room across the street from Diamond Lake. Good wine list and extensive menu. We would go more often if it wasn’t so pricey but it’s our go-to spot for special occasions.“
