Always a good "go to" for lunch or dinner. The menu is excellent for a reasonable price. However don't expect special requests for food prep from the kitchen. Your waiter will do their best, but usually the food all comes prepared the same way. That is the kitchen has one way, their way. I guess sometimes consistency is a good thing.
Thank you for a wonderful dinner and special recognition to our server Denise and everyone who took part in our service tonight! The food was delicious and the wine suggestion from Denise was excellent!

I joked to my friends that I want to be the GM of this place, and in my interview I would stress that I have zero ideas for change, I bring nothing new to the table, and would strive to keep everything exactly as it is. This place is perfect and I would drive up to Beelow's over any steakhouse in Chicago. I love a classic restaurant doing things the old way, and the food and service are genuinely fantastic.
