“The tacos were good. The salsa was extremely spicy (still edible, but I prefer a more mild salsa, especially in a restaurant setting) and the chicken taco which claimed to be spicy, actually wasn't, which I thought was kind of strange. The pico de gallo on my fish taco was also very hot since it contained a lot of jalapeno. Out of the 3 tacos I got the mahi mahi was my favorite.”

“My waiter was good and friendly. I sat in covered patio. I ordered a spring salad with shrimp. blackberries, grapefruit, candied pecans, arugula and berry vinaigrette and a side of Mac n cheese. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.”

“1st off, I'm not a local guide as this stupid Google system says I am. Ok, Native New Yorker now living in Texas, seriously missing good Chinese food. I was in Illinois for business and a coworker suggested China Style and it was delicious! The nice woman at the counter had them make BBQ Pork Fried Rice for me, to go with an order of BBQ Pork and it was all very good! The prices were standard for what Chinese food costs these days. It was so good. I came back 2 days later for more of the rice and had the Chicken with Broccoli and it was very good as well! Thank you to the nice woman for having the order prepared specifically for what I wanted! Best Chinese I've had away from New York.”

“Located in a small strip center ,this distillery is a real gem located in Lake Zurich.

Staff and owners are super friendly that serves great cocktails and has live music . Unfortunately they do not offer food options but you can bring your own.

They make their own Bourbon,Gin ,Vodka and Rum which pairs well with their huge selection of crafted cocktails.

The prices for the cocktails are slightly more than one would expect but then again you are not paying any cover charge to hear live music and frankly,they are sooo delicious.

We tried the Blood Orange Mai Tai which was a daily special,Banana Rum Old Fashion and a Classic Old Fashion. Can't pick a favorite because they were all our favorites!

“We were so sad to hear the store close in McHennry! It was our family tradition to visit you as well as my child. We always make it priority to visit you! While visiting for a week it’s normal to visit 2-3 times before we go!!”

“I really don’t like when my husband and I go out for dinner at a more upscale place like this and the hostesses greet you with “hi guys”, “how are you guys”. How about training your staff to greet people with a simple sincere “hello” or “ hi, how are you tonight?” A couple out for dinner are not guys. You get my drift. That being said, our waiter Andrew served us impeccably…the food was beyond excellent. Andrew also comped our tiramisu for our wedding anniversary. The experience overall was wonderful and you won’t regret dining here!”

“while they usually do great I ordered 2 of the big Kahana tubs today. I've never had one but as the sandwich and pictures show, it's not supposed to have lettuce. I had half my teeth removed a few weeks ago and lettuce is just not doable for me. highly disappointed.”

“Possibly the most reasonably priced and chill sports bar on the east side of Rockford. Music isn’t too loud, staff is friendly, it’s not dead but it’s not too crowded. If for some reason you find yourself trapped on the east side of town, this is the place to go when you’re looking for a normal, non-pretentious atmosphere.”

“We were lucky to try Kurbside’s delicious pizza last night three different kinds and their Italian grilled cheese. All were incredibly delicious, the dough is outstanding and the ingredients were all fresh! The grilled cheese bread was crunchy and so flavorful. Made to order and handed to you fresh and hot. You really need to start following them and give them a try, we will for sure!!”

“Kooker’s is my favorite lunch time spot when I’m at the office for the day. They make their own natural cut fries that I love cooked well done. They have daily specials that are great deals, although all of their prices are fair. They have limited seating, but you can call ahead and pick up an order and I think they do delivery. When there, make sure you look at the specialty board that is to the right of the register. There you will find items that are not on the regular menu. Today I had the poutine with pulled pork—amazing. I highly recommend this locally-owned burger (and a lot more) joint.”

“We needed a place for dinner while driving home from a weekend getaway. We luckily found Bobbers thanks to reviews on Google Maps. Boy were we glad we went! Lake perch fish fry was fantastic as were the grilled shrimp and curly fries. Can’t wait to go back on a nice day and sit outdoors with a beautiful lake view!”

In all my time there, Carter has been an excellent employee! He remembers my name, my food is always right and warm, and everyone is always friendly. Carter goes above and beyond and I’d love for him to get some recognition on his hard work and always cheery attitude!”

“Just dined here for the first time! (A friend of mine who's a server at nearby Italian steakhouse, Lago, referred me to Eggshells, and told me to check out their corned beef!) His recommendation was spot-on! I had a great meal at Eggshells! Their menu's so big and full of great selections, I couldn't make up my mind, so I ordered the Irish Skillet (which of course had corned beef as its main ingredient) plus the Smoked Salmon Platter (note: this item doesn't come with a bagel, so I ordered an Everything Bagel too)! For drinks, I had coffee and orange juice. Everything tasted fresh and DELICIOUS! Plus, my server, Kaitilin, did a fantastic job with her fast, friendly and efficient service! I also liked how upbeat, welcoming and clean the restaurant looked! I'll definitely be coming back!!!”

She was friendly, clear-spoken, and obviously likes her job and likes working with people. I came back around again because I forgot a special item, and I heard her cheerful attitude again.
